Super affordable fine dining. Love how their interiors have that old classy vibe. They also have a pianist

Great date place reminds me of Morton's in Hong Kong

Great value for money. For a filet mignon (P6900) Smoked Salmon (P280) Seared scallops (P300++) so on and so forth.. Everything I tried is so yummy and worth it!

Because look at the picture of my prime rib steak... Look at that!

I would go back to this place for 3 reasons:
1) the price is surprisingly affordable
2) the steak was so tender
3) and the view at night from the 10th floor was beautiful.

4 stars, 4 thumbs up!

We always love the roast prime rib of beef at Gulliver's. It's simple to taste that really brings out the flavor of the good meat used. It's roasted to a good medium, so yes, it's tender and juicy (haha). They have gravy, yes. But it's good even without it.

All their beef is Served with Yorkshire Pudding (YUM), Spinach Souffle, Baked Potato and Creamed Corn. The Yorkshire Pudding is my fave and it goes really well with the juicy steak.

Personally, i love the Crispy Almond Duck since the taste is a combination of savory and sweet (and i always love that). This is the only resto in the PH i know that serves it.

The soup is good, salads too.

However, I don't like how dim the place is since i like seeing my food. Because it's always really, REALLY dark. I realize they do that since it's supposedly 'fine dinning' but i see more casual families eating relax-ly here (including us) than couples or whatnots.

I think they should create a family space that is separated from the quiet area since, a lot of families do eat here (including us) with kids and the noise level (sometimes) doesn't make it feel like the 'upscale' place it tries to be or ideally, supposedly is.

Anyways that's just my two cents.

You'll love this if you love good classic roast prime rib of beef. The men of your life will definitely like it here (dad, lolo, or whoever).

If you're on a budget, cost here is at Php 1k and up. Worth it? Definitely.

This is still the best value for money prime rib in the Philippines! For as little as 700 pesos for the petite cut or 890 for the humongous gulliver's cut (as shown in the picture), your craving for that juicy and flavourful prime rib will definitely be satisfied. With the meal you already get a baked potato, creamy corn, spinach and corn bread. I wasn't a fan of the corn bread but the spinach and corn were winners for everyone that night. The only downside is the scary hotel where the restaurant is located but that is just a small price to pay for having a wonderful meal.

The price of their steaks are very reasonable as you pay below Php1,000 for any of their choice steaks.

But the only ones I really find worth their price are the New York Cut and the Rib-Eye and I'll tell you why. Any other steak you order is going to be cooked medium well to well done regardless of how you want them. With that being said, it would still be a good idea to order a notch or two below your preferred cooking as they do tend to overcook.

They also have a nice selection of seafood, like seabass, salmon, prawns and lobsters for around the same price range, and cooked better than their steaks, which also make it worth your while.

The ambience of the place is pretty nice, especially at night. Candle light dinner sets a relaxing, romantic mood and a view of Makati City really makes it all worth it.

Friendly Tip: They do have a discount card available for regular customers. Be sure to ask about that when you dine in Gulliver's of San Francisco.

Great, affordable prime rib steak! Probably one of the best steaks below 1K in the metro. Ambiance is very laid back and cozy. Service is very good!
