I rated this 4 stars just because of the Whipped Cream and Frappe. I sooooooooo love their frappe especially the whipped cream. If i could just order a glassful of cream, i would! Lol 128513128513128513

Gustav Cafe's Decadent Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Mousse, and Toffee Bar. Delicious, affordable, huge servings of sweet endings from one of Pampanga's cafes.

Gustav Cafe is located in the new foodie strip mall , The Quad at Nepo Center , in Angeles City. The Cafe specializes in French-Med cuisine. The owners were locals from the province but had an affinity to France. Thus the theme of the cafe. The place is a cozy cafe adorned with photos and scenes from Paris complete with a model of the Eiffel Tower. Even the name of the cafe paid homage to the architect of the popular Parisian landmark, Gustave Eiffel.

This visit was for some sweet endings after a filling lunch at Downtown Cafe.

Serving size of their pastries where huge. Prices were very affordable. But the proof of the pudding was in the eating.

Decadent Chocolate Cake. We loved the moist, dense, chocolate cake that had a delicious caramel/yema middle frosting. We loved the yummy chocolate frosting that also had the same buttery-sweet-salty yema/caramel streak. The huge slice was plated nicely with a chocolate syrup art. The price--Php 89.

Toffee Bar-. We loved the pastry. It had a thin chocolate cake base. A cashew-toffee caramel center. Then topped with a chocolate topping. Again, plated with a nice choco syrup art. The huge delicious pastry bar , ridiculously (in a very good way) priced at php 50!

Chocolate Mousse. We loved the moist, dense, dark chocolate cake base that was topped with thick, rich, chocolate mousse and garnished with light cream. Again plated with a nice choco syrup art. The price-Php 99.

Generous servings of good pastries at such ridiculously affordable prices----5 stars!
