Can't believe no one has reviewed Hadefe Cottages before! This place is awesome especially with a large group as we were 11 in a group and we availed their package deal including a two-day tour to the beautiful islands, modest breakfasts, delicious island lunches (a good mix of seafood, meat and fruits) and shuttle service from Puerto Princesa Airport to El Nido vice-versa (dinner was on us, a bit pricey but expected because although there are carenderia's nearby, for sure you would wanna try what is unique in El Nido that you can't access in your hometown). What makes it awesome is that the location lets you connect with nature, away from the busy urban noise. Perhaps it is a little further from their commercial area but that's why it is best experienced with a large group - it is fun! And you have to pass by a cemetery haha! It sounds creepy but I tell you, you'd be unknowingly holding your crush's hand passing by it. 128514128514128514 It's not scary at all. Plus the gorgeous, golden sunset by the beach. They even have wifi by the dining area by the beach. Your breakfasts are always a scenic, coastal view! And did I mention that we were offered a third cottage free of charge? So the accommodation was really spacious and comfortable. Perhaps electricity was a problem because when we went there, the town's power source is only scheduled at night until the break in the morning around 6. The rest of the day, there's power outage. But our tours are set in the morning anyway so we don't depend that much with electricity. But good news! I heard that their electricity now runs 24 hours a day for 7 days a week! Nice! How I wish I could go back that easily. Land transfers from PP to El Nido take time in an estimated 6-hour travel including a stop for lunch and a quick visit at Baker's Hill and the aquatic equipment store for our snorkels, goggles and aqua shoes to rent. I wish there was a direct flight to El Nido. But it was an unforgettable experience! And I sure hope you'll love the place too!
