Butter Garlic Shrimp

Butter Garlic Shrimp of Hai Chix and Steaks has chewy and juicy plum shrimp cooked in butter, spices and generous amount of minced garlic. This dish is oozing with flavor that blends well with each other. Butter Garlic Shrimp costs Php 295.

Fish and Chips

Fish and Chips is composed of fish fingers in batter, standard cut french fries and two dressing. The fish inside the batter is juicy, perfectly seasoned and flavorful enough even without the dressing. The french fries on the other hand is not saggy even if you leave the dish for a couple of minutes. Fish and Chips costs Php 295.

Hainanese Chicken Rice

Hainanese Chicken Rice is served with boiled and soft chicken meat, oily rice and three dipping sauce- chili, ground ginger and dark soy sauce. The chicken has a tinge of sweet and gingery taste. The dipping sauce on the other hand spices up the chicken. Hainanese Chicken Rice costs Php 280.

Ribeye Steak Paella

Ribeye Steak Paella is served with Paella and topped with Ribeye Steak. The Steak is juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The Paella is flavorful and blends well with the Steak. Ribeye Steak Paella costs Php 550.

US Angus Ribeye

Angus Ribeye is one of Hai Chix and Steaks specialty. This steak has soft meat, oozing with juice and flavorful. This dish is served with minced steak meat that is more flavorful than the Ribeye. Definitely a MUST TRY! US Angus Ribeye costs Php 1450 for 330g and Php 2750 for 650g.

US Angus Porterhouse

Hai Chix and Steaks also offers a healthier steak alternative with US Angus Porterhouse. Like the Ribeye Steak, Porterhouse has soft meat, ooizing with juice and flavorful. This dish has generous servings and can be eaten by 3-4 person. Angus Porterhouse and Ribeye is served with rice and corn.

Bbq Back Ribs

Bbq Back Ribs has fall off the bone and juicy meat. This dish has a mixture of smokey and sweet flavor perfect for Filipino tastebuds. Bbq Back Ribs is served in half and full rack along with fries and corn. Half Rack costs Php 450 and Full Rack costs Php 800.

600th review!

Somebody took me to a foodie place in Valero St. and its a cheat day last Saturday. I already knew about Hai Chix since it has a branch in Ortigas, though I didn't get to dine & explore this place. Thanks to my bf128522

Butter Garlic Shrimp, generous serving of shrimps, will all ingredients perfectly mixed. Shrimp not swimming in butter and tasted so good! This dish is served woth 3 slices of bread.

Prawn Bisque, served hot and I quickly love the first taste of it. The cream soup has prawns in it that makes it more delectable. Something new to my tastebud.

Ribeye Steak, served with a cup of rice. 2 inches thick steak sliced topped with crispy steak fat that gives the flavor. Lemon butter sauce was poured over this beautiful meal for perfect blend of flavors. Wait there's more, juice of the fat is served on the side, as a sauce. Perfect cut for bite size + awesome flavor... its foodgasm!

Verdict: underated place! I love everything served. 128522

Would have been better if served with garlic mayo dip :)

If you're in a hurry, i won't recommend this. Our food was served after 40mins. ;( over-break today hahaha

The food tasted generally good, serving size is good for one person but price for me is a little bit steep.

Teemee T and I ordered a Hanger Steak and Shrimp Paste for 330 Php and a Hainanese Chicken Rice Meal for 280 Php.

The steak in the pasta was tender but only around 4 to 5 small pcs of it. Nothing outstanding with the steak. While for the shrimp, it seem fresh and only 4 medium pcs of it was placed on top of the pasta. The pasta was oil based. Taste was not very strong.

The hainanese chicken was boneless and if you like the sauce that goes with it, well it's refillable. I like combining all the 3 sauces served with the chicken. I enjoyed this meal although the chicken size was not that big. The rice was also ok.

We decided to order these dishes because we generally assumed their best sellers would be hainanese chicken and steak because of the restos name. Well it didn't disappoint us.

We visited this place dinner time on a weekday. Place was not that full. Service was also ok.

Hai Chix & Steaks is now in Makati.

Tried their US Angus Ribeye and it was sooo good! Definitely one of the tastiest meat I've ever had. Requested to have it done medium-well, wasn't tough at all.
