I was badly craving for some good fried chicken after working out. I was thinking of having Bon Chon but I thought that I had too much of it over the past few years. So I decided to make a comeback here at Hainanese Delights, since I kinda missed their Hainan chicken.

I was supposed to have the Chick Heaven but they ran out of stock for the breast part! Ugh! So I just got the Hainan Fried chicken served with unlimited Hainanese rice for just Php 130. Like what I've said on my previous review, their version of Hainanese rice is nothing special and tastes just like a plain rice. But the chicken is consistently good! Flavorful and tender - drenched in a delicious chicken sauce! This one's really good for me!

Probably the best choice if you're craving for affordable chicken meal and would like to try something else from the usuals like KFC and Bon Chon.

That's the reason why we love this place. Lunch break means Kanin Warriors! 1285569996128077128523128128

Around P150, for unlimited Hainanese rice meals with soup. There is quite a number of selections to choose from. It's only better because their rice is not plain white rice. Good unli fuel for your body. 100841008410084️ haha 128514128514128514

PS. Their rice cups are small so whenever you call the rice girl, you may probably ask for 2 scoops already. OR ELSE, BITIN! Haha.

Had a dinner here last week after getting all the stuff I need. It was almost closing time when I stepped in and luckily, they're still accepting diners unlike some restos around.

I tried their Hainanese chicken, which was obviously one of their best-sellers and 'twas served with hainanese rice. For Php139,00, you can enjoy a part of your choice and unlimited hainanese rice. Not bad at all! Plus, the chicken was really savory and cooked just right. The rice was good, but nothing too special for me.

Last Monday, had my duty at Robinsons Galleria, during lunch, food establishments were fully occupied so we decided to go to Hainanese because there were only 10 people in the dining area.

My staff and I ordered chili barbecue for that two order and guess what it took them almost 15 minutes.

When I about to devour my chicken, I saw some fresh blood dripping in the plate so I asked the staff to cooked it again.

After 10 minutes of waiting, they served to me a chicken that is not yet well cooked. I am totally disappointed!

With all the complaints I made and the supervisor seated on the next table knew that I am complaining didn't bother to talk to us or ask her staff to know why the chicken keeps on going in and out of their chicken. I think she's busy having conversation to a colleague in the phone ranting that one kitchen crew is absent and she had hard time opening the branch.

It's 12 noon and what bothers her is her absent crew than the low customers seated in the dining area 128078128541.

I think the management should check on their procedure because this is the 2nd time that I received a bloody chicken, in Megamall naman.

I don't think I would go back to any of their branches anymore.

It was ok for me. I'm not really crazy on their food. What I really like is their ginger in oil condiment. I first tasted it in Hong Kong and I was happy when I found out they serve it too.

What could have made this place better? - make sure the place is clean and uber hygienic. Was in line waiting for my turn to order then suddenly this huge huge huge rat came out of nowhere and started doing ballroom dances in front of everyone. Never ate there again. Makes me wonder what other creatures are residing inside the kitchen and what they do to the utensils lying around the place.

Hainanese Delights is definitely the best for delicious and affordable hainanese chicken.

I ordered Hainanese Delights, Take the Cake and Pure Pork for take out.

Hainanese Delights (P130)
-I like the tender and perfectly seasoned chicken served with Hainan Rice (unlimited)

Take the Cake (P90)
-a crisp concoction of salt and pepper radish cake was something new and delicious. I initially thought it was diced tofu.

Pure Pork (P110)
-you have the option for steamed or fried pork dumpling and I opted for the latter and it was delicious with chili sauce.

My total bill was P339.

Where it all started! Q3 2011 was when my wife and I first tried Hainanese Delights in Galleria. Before then we were regulars upstairs at Mr. Tan's Nasi Lemak.

But Hainanese Delights had a unique ace up its sleeve, ---
1) half-the-price chicken vs typical Hainanese chicken (even Nasi Lemak was over P200); at the time it was P120, and since then it has increased to a still-respectable P130 for a quarter chicken.
2) an awesome ginger sauce that even I found addicting (I wasn't into ginger before Hainanese Delights started)
3) BOTTOMLESS Hainan Rice (carb cowards, beware)

So much so that (as some of you know), I franchised their Magnolia branch a few months ago (post Looloo)!

Anyway, last Monday was cold and rainy so a hot new soup dish of theirs was my craving--- Laksa! Like their Hainanese Chicken, it had been tweaked to suit Filipino taste, it's got just the right spiciness, it's vegetarian friendly (just seafood and tofu; or some might say no meat), and it gives that right amount of curry and heat that bursts in my mouth. Oh wow.

And it's still P130. My wife had their Eat The Heat (less spicy) which is HD's own version of salt n pepper squid. Awesome. Next best thing to North Park's Salted Garlic Squid. And of course she had Hainan Rice. Bottomless at P45. Lol. 128540

Half hainanese chicken with unlimited chicken rice for only P130! Super sulit, chicken tastes good enough and I love smothering it with way too much ginger and soysauce. The boyfie and I always end up here when we just want something cheap, filling and tasty and doesn't involve the Holy Trinity of Fast Food.

I also tried their fried radish cake which is nice and spicy, though not as flavorful as those from President in Binondo or how my mom used to make it. Maybe Singaporean style lah? But twas okay, I finished it easily enough.

Can't really say how authentic it tastes, but good Hainanese for fast food prices? We like lah! :D

P.S. Y U NO OFFER MILK TEA???
