Hamada will give you the best teppanyaki experience ever! It's always fun to watch their chefs do tricks while cooking in front of you. :) Don't miss this place if you happen to be in Baguio Country Club! 1108811088110881108811088

I was brought by my friend who is a member of Baguio Country Club. They recommended to seat Teppanyaki table. We tried Teppanyaki at Hamada. I have eaten Teppanyaki in Japan many times. The quality of food in hamada was so so. especially every foods are same taste, same ingrediants. (TOO OILY) Our Japanese way is that fried rice is served at the end. BUT They served fried rice at first. Our Japanese friends were confused about it. We do not recommend it as Teppanyaki.

After missing out on Teppanyaki lunches with my family, yayyy I finally got to experience it for the first time!! 128514

I loved everything about it! We just had too much food, which was a good problem, I guess. Our chef, Chef Mario was the best! 128076

Celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, the acceptance of misono tables as part of mainstream Japanese cuisine has elevated the teppanyaki-type of cooking to new levels.

It introduced fun and flair to a cuisine well known for its (paradoxical) style and simplicity.

Our teppanyaki cook was definitely well versed on fun and flair. Displaying an entertaining skill-set composed of but not limited to spatula twirling, egg springboard diving, egg white name writing, and fried rice smileys and hearts.

Afterwards, he proceeded to create the meals we went there for in the first place.

The spicy tuna maki, miso soup, and ebi tempura came from the kitchen, while the fried rice, yasai itame, and wagyu beef teppanyaki were cooked on the misono table.

Everything was exceptional, from the serving size to the flavor -- most especially the wagyu beef. I had mine cooked medium and it was comparable to biting into meaty bite-sized marshmallows.

I left Hamada that evening a thoroughly satisfied customer.

Our friend's a member of Baguio Country Club, that's how we got in here. We had tepanyaki and it was absolutely amazing! We had the set, so we were able to try the beef, chicken, veggies, salmon and shrimp. Well, actually since it was tepanyaki, they all taste the same, but it was still all good. So happy they brought us here.

Chef Rey was fun to watch ... He does his fire exhibitions , ninja moves with all the throwing & flipping tricks ... We were served with tempura appetizer , salad & miso soup ... Then teppanyaki ... Japanese fried rice was so flavorful ... U don't even need viand anymore

Next ... The stir fried veggies ... Was okay

Angus steak platter was tender & really juicy

Salmon , fresh, & moist

Prawns ... Fresh & plump ..... Brrrr.... What a feast

Best tepanyaki restaurant in the Phils. Price very affordable. Try ordering the tepanyaki set that is good for 2 people but it can be good for 4 pax. Convert your Garlic rice to Moriwase(japanese fried rice) and order salmon sashimi and tempura :))

Japanese food in the flesh! It's my first time to see a "chef" cooking all these food in the same table where you're eating. The chef started off by doing some tricks on the kitchen utensils he'll be using. After that, he proceeded in cooking the Japanese rice a then he divided it to everyone. The same procedure happened when we cooked the chicken, the steak, the shrimp and the salmon. It was entertaining for us to see the cooking procedures while eating but the chef made it more fun when he did some exhibitions in flipping the eggs, doing heart-shaped stuff, etc.
For the food, the steak was a bit chewy though while the salmon felt uncooked in some way. The chicken and shrimp were both good. The Japanese rice was delicious; it went well with all the viands.
