Chinese cuisine!

We went here for the birthday celebration of our Department Head.

The place, quite the traditional Chinese resto style. A family oriented restaurant. Not much interior decors just plain and direct to the point Chinese.

The food platter will be served to you one by one. They have a wide variety of choices, so its like you gotta choose a package.

I was a bit surprised when the appetizer came in, it's a soup with mushrooms, chicken meat strands, veggies and tomatoes. Fresh tomatoes that it made the soup sour. I dunno if it's just me or you'll get the same reaction too. I like the taste of fresh and raw tomatoes but combining it to a soup prolly not so good. All the dishes turned out well besides the beef stew. Its salty and the beef's not that ready yet.

After all, it's the merriment we were after, and the free food! Hihihih just the same, it's your average go to family place.

In an attempt to go on a diet, I ordered their Noodle Feast for lunch. Big mistake because It was humungous, as can be seen in the photo above. 3 of us ate it and we still could not finish it. The soup came in a different container - ordered for delivery as we had rush work. Serving size was therefore fantastic; taste was just okay.

I tried this place for the first time today via food delivery.

I ordered the steamed shrimp dumplings (hakao), beancurd and beef brisket noodle soup. The dumplings were okay, and the serving size was not small.

The salt and pepper beancurd is fried tofu cooked in salt and pepper. It's good. It tastes like salt and pepper spare ribs actually.

They sent me beef brisket without the soup. They had it replaced. The noodle soup was just okay, nothing great but it was still very hot when they delivered it.

Overall it was okay. Saw that there were raving reviews here, So I''m willing to try their other dishes next time.

Our business unit office recently transferred from Kapitolyo to Shaw Blvd and since then most of our bosses were on the lookout for a great place to dine in for lunch outs. We were used to Kapitolyo's wide variety of dining places.

Han Pao is now the top of the mind during lunch because of the affordable prices and huge servings.

Aside from their dimsum,I love the Han Pao fried chicken, so yummy! 128523

It's my first time to be a Ninong, so i am excited for this day, but of course, what excites me more is the food! Yey! Jk! 128514

After just few minutes when we arrived there, we were served with soup, noodles, yangchow rice, and viands of different type from vegetables, pork, beef and chicken. Then they finish it off with, monggo bean filled buchi. I really don't know the name of the dishes that has been served but still I have eaten a lot. Good thing, I am not a picky eater and I eat anything. I went home really full with that "bundat" feeling after the baptismal lunch. The food tasted really really good! Two thumbs up for that! 128077128077

The place is really jampacked with other patrons of that restaurant, even though almost half of it has been reserved by my friend. You could really tell that the food is really good there with the number of people having lunch there that time.

I would have given this place a five star if their staffs are just polite and attentive with side orders specially water. But beside that, everything is good.

Why would you come here? 3 words...Sea King Roll! Don't be deceived by its down-to-earth location and reasonable prices, you'll find it difficult getting a table during lunch time. I'm not really a big fan of Chinese food so I'm not an expert on knowing the "authentic" taste, but it's good enough for me.

Don't let the dim, packed, noisy interiors of this establishment turn you away. This straight-in-your face Chinese place serves really good Chinese dish staples at an affordable price.

The menu is extensive- ranging from dim sum (siomai, siopao, chicken feet, etc), soups, noodles, stir fry dishes, and alike. But I have my staple list of favorites :

The Beef Ho-Fan stir fry-- thick hofan noodles fried with tender beef strips, bean sprouts, and their special sauce. Greasy yet so food.

The Fried Chili Spare Ribs- Tender pork ribs coated with a crunchy crust with chili and garlic.

The Hot Prawn Salad- Fried prawns drowned in sweet mayo dressing with fruit cocktail.

The Yang Chow Fried Rice- a meal in itself.

Other good choices are their Sweet Sour Pork, their Fried Taro Puff, and the Asado siopao.

Quick service, fast turn-over, definitely this place is a good choice for a filling , flavorful, and affordable Chinese food bite.
