Had it on delivery, 12:20 is the deadline rider arrived at 12:33 without apology.

Ordered the ff:

Beef yakiniku - taste so sweet, much better if the beef ia more tender

Ebi tempura - it's not crispy anymore, would be better if they make the batter a bit salty. The prawn is not tasty enough

Crispy fish teriyaki - okay without the teriyaki sauce

Ultimate dynamite roll -it's ok but my husband said the wasabi has no kick taste

California maki - i like it so much ,soft and tasty

Total bill for all of these PHP845, reasonable if you are craving for Japanese food.

It was a hot afternoon and I went out with hubby to bring my first born to school and run some errands after. We got everything sorted out right away and instead of going home only to go out again after an hour or so to fetch our daughter, hubby decided to date me. He stopped by Hanako.

Hanako is a small resto in a corner space facing the busy Dona Soledad street. We have been wondering for a long time now if their menu is worth it. Good thing hubby decided for us to try what they have to offer.

Since we went there around 330PM, I wasn't really up for a full meal. I opted to get their Kani Salad. Not a fan of Kani here but I must admit that their Kani Salad got me! Fresh strips of crunchy and juicy cucumber with generous strips of Kani, some ripe mango strips, generous swirls of Japanese mayo and finished off with some seaweed and fish roe on top. It was delicious!

Hubby got their Chicken Katsu Curry which was good as well. The Chicken Katsu had a crunchy breading and the meat was tender. The curry sauce was thick and rich in flavor! Hubby liked it so much that he didn't mind perspiring a lot because the dish was spicy!

Great Hanako experience. Hoping to drop by again soon and try other dishes 128521

Ordered Five Star Roll earlier today and it is really good. Sushi with teriyaki sauce and salmon sashimi, what a combo and the price is affordable!! A must-try japanese resto ni Paranaque. 128077127843128076

I like Hanako because it's authentic enough given its price range. It's definitely a better alternative to Tokyo Tokyo. Ever since this place opened across our village, we stopped ordering from fast food joints such as Army Navy, Jollibee, and McDonald's.

The gyoza (P99) and dynamite roll (P180) is my favorite tandem. Food is served right away, piping hot and fresh.

Your friendly neighborhood Jap-resto. Not a fancy place but def above average food grade. A Japanese spot that makes you feel at home. Prices are friendly too. I eat here at least once a week.

If you love Japanese food, you must try this place. Not only is the food yummy, but it's SUPER AFFORDABLE. An order of maki is around P90-P110, their 3pcs ebi tempura is just P150 compared to P300++ in other restaurants, gyoza is around P90, and their mixed tempura is (wait for it).. Just P100. Whuut? Talk about value for money!

They have another branch in Moonwalk where my boyfriend and I usually go to. You can bring P400 with you and that would be enough budget for a filling meal for two. :)

Great Jap Food! Cheap Price.. We love the Spicy Tuna crunch and Tamago Sushi. The place is small, can accomodate for a maximum of 20persons, and No restroom. Hope they will relocate to a bigger space.

Try Hanako's new maki dishes! The five star roll captures all five types of taste. An experience you'll surely enjoy.

The Gyoza is also a crowd favorite.

Look for the store supervisor Welme when you happen to be in the area. :)

We had our lunch date their last Sunday. The place was good, very accessible. Small but can accommodate 15-20 people. Good interior very modern but still japanese. We ordered their maki, sashimi and tempura. Maki was good though Im looking for the mango part. Its my favorite part.. And my satisfaction depends on it.. Hehehe! Anyway, their
Sashimi was not fresh.. It feels like it was just freshly defrosted.. Tempura was ok. We were not really that impressed.
Overall experience was ok. Still looking forward to visit again soon maybe we just visited it at a wrong time... I guess 128556
