Nothing spectacular but I would say value for money. Typical prices for a Jap resto with guaranteed authentic flavor. Went for a basic spread of sashimi and a katsudon for a light meal. Added a drink and The bill hit less than Php500.00. Will explore more during my next visit.

My family and I are almost always at SM Hypermart / Tiendesitas / Silver City every weekend. We have tried most of the restos in that place and now here's a review of Hanako.

Ordered Kani Salad, Gyoza and Chicken Karaage.

Kani Salad - plating was really beautiful, but taste was not at par with how it looked. It did not taste awful, it was not just that special, and I do find it a tad expensive for 160-170 bucks.

Gyoza - 150 bucks for 4 pcs is kind of expensive. However, it tasted good, should have ordered two of these instead of the Kani Salad.

Chicken Karaage - 120 bucks, good for two, and it was the best among the three. I loved the taste of the chicken that you can do away with the sauce.

All in all Hanako is okay, the usual japanese fastfood we have around. Can be an option again for merienda when I go back to SM Hypermart :)

I loved the simplicity of the place and affordable meals. Ordered miso soup and serving is refreshing but lacks in taste, gives only a hint taste of the miso. I was full with the beef yakiniku. I will be back to try their maki.

California maki was typical , the soy sauce dip use is too salty @150.... Can't complain much

Kani salad was nicely plated @169.... Not a bad dish too... Veggies were crisp & fresh but the dressing a little too tarty & salty for me

Katsudon @209 .. is very affordable & the serving size is pretty good , katsu was tender & juicy... good value for its price tag

Beef yakiniku platter is really big enough for 5pax... Thinly sliced beef strips@559... We even hv leftovers to bag

Bottomless red ice tea @69 was refreshing ... But seriously don't expect much ... It's affordable Filipino Japanese food express with really fast service from taking orders to serving to bill took only less than 45 mins... & yes, we eat fast too 9786

There was this place near Crossings Q Ave called Stuffings. It's been gone for a while and I've been craving its taste like a mad pregnant woman lately. (I was also recently pregnant.) Anyway, my aunt is a huge fan of the Moonwalk Hanako and kept recommending it to me. Now I know why: it's just like Stuffings! Pros: chahan fried rice, ebi tempura. No BS good tasting Pinoy style Japanese food.

It's just a little too pricey for frequent visits!

A new affordable Japanese restaurant near the house, yay! Everything we ordered was yummy! We had the California maki, Kani salad, Kakiage, tofu steak; and the standout dish for me: the katsudon curry. It was so good! I love the flavor of the curry sauce. 128077

This place reminds me of Sushiya, since everything is affordable. All dishes around p200+ and below. Big servings, too!
