We arrived in Zamboanga at almost 8pm akd walked in to this restaurant from the airport.
It was only recently that I have been enjoying raw food, still w/o wasabi, and this one was good. It was fresh and soft. I like that it doesn't have the "lansa" feeling.
Set Meal 2:
Tempura, Miso Soup, Rice and Veggies
I like that the shrimp in tempura is just the right size. It's not that kind where there is too much flour and you can't even "find" or taste the shrimp.
There were other set meals available or a-la-carte menu to choose from!

best japanese restaurant! i love love love love tempura an this really made even love it more. their tempura was not oily, crunchy on the outside and creamy in the inside, i was looking through the shrimp if there were any filling inside it and to my surprise there were none. we also had veggie tempura, yummy but kinda oily. chicken teriyaki was marvelous! they have very generous serving proportions and tastes like it was meticulously crafted to please every eaters same as with the tuna teriyaki, i actually asked the server if that really was a tuna coz there were no hints of a nasty fishy smell and taste. tonkatsu was also a hit, tender, moist and flavorful this one is the largest meal cause we asked the servers to split it into two and when they served it the two bowls look like they're make up one order.
ambience does not really give a zen sensation but good enough to make the visitors feel calm. servers are very much accommodating too.
