On our 2nd Night in Davao we decided to try the Restaurant beside the hotel, Hanoi Vietnamese Restaurant. It shares the same building with a Japanese Restaurant whose name i forgot. Aside from the Vietnamese Menu, you will also be given the Japanese Menu.

Our Order:
Vietnamese Platter - Consisted of different rolls, fried & fresh spring rolls plus 2 sticks of what looked like BBQ. This was very delicious.

California Maki - Very delicious too
Another Maki Dish - It was more delicious than the California Maki!
Soft Shell Crab - it was wiped out by my nephew. Probably delicious.

For the drink we ordered a green drink served in a carafe which was very refreshing.

Service: service was outstanding. The waitress who served us was very efficient and friendly.

Definitely a must place to eat in Davao!!

This is simply the best Vietnamese place outside Metro Manila.

Second time here and it did not disappoint. Ordered some Steamed Rolls and Shrimp Cold Noodles. Both were superb. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is also something to experience.

Love this place! When in Davao, it is a Foodie must visit.

Hanoi Vietnamese Cuisine is where I go whenever I have cravings for some hearty but healthy Vietnamese food while I'm in Davao. Located in the Ayala Abreeza Mall, it's very accessible.

The interior of the place is modern Asian. Though they serve some dishes in claypots, they also serve some in modern dish wares.

Some of the best dishes I've had here are the Pomelo and Shrimp Salad which has the famed sweet and juicy Davao pomelo as the main ingredient. The sweet fish sauce vinegarette that they drizzle over the pomelo and shrimp is so light and the combination is so refreshing. I've had other pomelo and prawn salads that had the heavier and overpowering dressings.

Another great dish is their Softshell Crab Curry. I have had curries with all sorts of proteins but this is the only place I've ever tried curry with softshell crab and it's good! The spicy sweet and creamy curry is so tasty. The softshell crab is so succulent. Crave-worthy.

Even though I love iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk, I can never resist ordering a carafe of their citrus and herb cooler. It's a blend of lemon, lime, basil and a lot of ice. Can't help but say "aaahhh..." every time.

Price for 2 people to share 3 dishes and the citrus herb drink is about P500-600 per person. Not bad at all!
