Kimchi is important when you eat at a Korean resto and they have good kimchi and good food also. Service was fast that time also the staff were nice and very accommodating. But was expecting to have few more choices for the side dish but we only had like 3 side dishes. But the experience was nice. Rice was also good :)

It was saturday afternoon when my high school friend, her boyfrirnd and I decided to meet. It was her treat and let her choose where to eat.

We went to Tomas Morato and it was kinda traffic until we arrived at our destination. Tomas Morato was closed due to an event and it was in front of Hanuri. Music was too loud outside but luckily it wasn't that bad inside. Place was small and good. Service was great coz we were the only the customers at that time but when we left, it was already packed. It was my first time here but my friend have been here a lot of times. I scanned the menu but can't decide what to order and let my friend to decide. We had their Korean Shabu-shabu, grilled meat and a little bit spicy dish. I have hard time remembering Korean dish names, menu not available on the app so be it. Haha
I enjoyed my food. Soups a bit sweet tho.

It was almost midnight when me and my foodbuddies (my siblings128523) went around Tomas area to look for comfort food. (We were supposed to go to mister kebab but the queue was crazy long)
We chanced upon Hanuri because of its 24h open sign. I had their stewed beef, forgot how it was called though. It was sweet and tasty and definitely a good match for the rice. My bro had bibimbap which was delicious and came in a huge serving. Sis got chapcae which was good for 2-3 as well.
All dishes were cooked well and tasted great. Place was so-so, reminded me of those hole in the wall dining places in hongkong which served authentic Cantonese food- small simple spaces which serve great food!128521
Overall, it was a good dining experience, I just hope they have more food choices.

For authentic Korean shabu-shabu and dishes that can be shared by families, friends, etc., don't miss out on this.

Their Shabu-Shabu is worth 300php and the Jjimjap (Korean Adobo) is worth 450php that can be shared by a max of 5 pax.

The taste is awesome and really addicting! Worth trying!

Tried their shabu-shabu which is good for 2. @php390. And their beef curry. Too spicy though. Their food are more pricey than other Korean resto that I know. Ambiance is good and staffs are attentive. not bad after all...

The good: Shabu-shabu! Comes with free korean pancake. Great dipping sauce. Their complimentary kimchi was good too.

The bad: Do. Not. Order. Samgyupsal. First, you must get a min of 2 orders. What if you just want 1?! Fine, we ordered 2. When it came out, the portion was so small. The marinade was meh. The price was absurd at P540. Service was also pretty slow. They served the shabu shabu soup without the ingredients first together with the free appetizers. We ended up drinking the soup while waiting for quite a bit. So, pro tip: don't go on a weekend.

Given these, we'll be back for the shabu2x. It's really pretty good.

As one fan of Korean Cuisine, it is a must to try ( if possible ) out every single korean restaurant in and out of the Metro. And so my ever adventurous feet landed in Hanuri.

This small restaurant along Tomas Morato has captured many tongues of most of my friends. One even commented that their food is really "masarap". so I must try them too.

My bf and i just wanted some soup because of the gloomy rainy weather, so we ordered Hanuri's Korean Shabu Shabu. priced at 390 good for 2-3 persons. Not Bad. Unlike the first place we checked out in Greenbelt which Shabu Shabu was priced unbelievably at 650/head.

So the set included some lettuce, noodles, sweet potato, an egg, kalabasa, a plate of rolled bacon, a veggie dish which i think is their salad, (mind you , i like to eat but i am not very particular on what it is called).

A simple set really satisfied our craving, though we thought of ordering 2 sets of samgyeopsal, which gladly we didnt or else we would have wasted so many food.

So my verdict, the place is good. they do serve delectable korean dishes at a very affordable price, thought their place is a bit small. still i find it good.

We came here late past midnight to satsify our Korean cravings and it didn't disappoint. GF and I tried the shabu-shabu with beef strips and samgyeopsal. It was good... far better than the ones we've tasted before.

The overall feel was OK given the floor space and the staff was very attentive. GF enjoyed the place so much (you can tell by the way she's smiling) we even visited them the following day this time, with our friends in tow.

I was out again and was looking for a place to stay while waiting for my 3PM meeting. Been passing by this place and finally decided to try it out. So yes, I'm exploring hidden culinary jewels again!!

Hanuri is small but somewhat cozy. The staff were very accommodating, and the food was really good for its price. (Note: they only accept Cash payments)

I ordered Jae Yook DupBap (it's a sweet and spicy sesame beef dish) for lunch which costs PhP140.00 and comes with 3 saucer-sized SIDE DISHES --usual staples, Candied Dilis, KIMCHI, and salad. Also comes with Nilaga Soup which was PERFECT for the weather.

The taste of the main course for me was spot on. Not too spicy, not too sweet and it compliments the sidings. It doesn't overwhelm the palate making me, enjoy the dishes much, much more.

If asked whether I'd come back... My answer's a definite YES! But I really want to try the grilled dishes AND their shabu shabu. Just couldn't order it earlier due to the huge serving size and my being the "Lone Foodie Explorer" for the day. 9786

This is one of the place that you should eat on a rainy day. My roommate and I had dinner here since he felt that a fever is gonna come to him.

A hotpot kind of dinner!

The food was good but I wouldn't say it's the best, but I guess I gave it a 4 for the reason that it was apt for a rainy weather and feverish feeling.

The dish was 399 and it was already good for 2. They have unlimited sidings with vegetables pancakes as part of the hotpot set. It was a healthy kind of dinner with all the veggies that was served. Overall, it was not bad. :)

...for a change we tried shabu shabu...maybe its the restaurant or maybe its just really the concept of shabu shabu that we didnt like...the soup was ok, but boiling raw pork is probably not my kind of food...for someone who loves shabu id say you can try but its not unlimited so worth for money may not be maximized...but personally i wouldnt recommend for someone who is not a fan of shabu shabu...

Compared to Ba-Be-Que in A.venue, this place was just okay. The meat and everything in Ba-Be-Que was way good. Here in Hanuri you'll pay it ala-carte unlike in the other it's unlimited.
