Craving for something hot and comforting, Mommy and I went out to find a place to eat which lead us here at Hap Chan. We're supposed to just eat Sinigang at Max's but the place was full so we crossed the street. First time eating here at Hap Chan but I've read reviews before about how good, simple, and affordable their meals are. Since we're craving for something hot, we got a regular order of the Beef Noodle Soup (160), Shrimp and Pork Siomai (85), and an order of Chinese Pechay w Garlic (160). While waiting, we were given house tea which was surprisingly good and really hot! ️
Then came our orders.. The noodle soup was flavorful, serving size was too small given that they still have a small version of this one. The beef was tender but most of what's given to us were the not so nice parts.
The siomai was good. It's tasty, flavorful, juicy, and it's nice that there's a huge juicy shrimp inside.
🏼 The pechay w garlic was also good but serving size was too small. And once you finished the top part, you'll see that all that's left are the stems. Puro tangkay!!!!! Madaya!
The garlic topping was yummy. It isn't the crispy fried type but more of the sautéed sweet type. And we enjoyed it. Paired really well with the oyster sauce and pechay.
Service was okay. Servers were easy to call but they're not nice. Parang nagmamadali or snob? And I think, the place could use a little more lights and a lot of cleaning. There were a lot of flies around and the place looks really old.

Food and service is great! My favorite would be the Fried Squid in Salt and Pepper And their Yang Chow Fried Rice too, you can just eat it without any viand. That's how good it is
I love their Fried Noodles. Yum!

Went here cause we're craving for Hakaw. But the staff arent really accommodating. Very slow service, staff aren't really friendly when they are not even loaded with customers. Even up to the point when you're already asking for your bill. Takasan ko kayo eh! Hmp.
