Kung Hei Fat Choi 2016128584 Celebrating the year of the Fire Monkey. My Year, my birth month. 128522

Hubby and I had our Chinese New Year lunch at Hap Chan Gil Fernando Ave in Marikina. We've been here for several times already. I was right with my decision to have our Chinese New Year lunch. We were supposed to go to Marcos Hi way to go to famous Chinese restaurant but I assume that the place was pack and glad we end up here, this is much nearer to our place and surprised that there was around two customers who dine that time.

So I was happy coz I was able to got good seat for the two of us. I'm craving for something hot since both of us had bad cough. We got two regular wanton noodle soup. Price starts at 150 pesos. The bowl was big and the tasted is good. Craving satisfied then hubby got our favorited hakao and we had two orders of it and had extra rice.

While waiting for our food the place was a bit cold so glad they served the complimentary tea right away. This is what I like everytime I go to Chinese cuisine. Then since its Chinese New Year they gave us two fortune cookies. I'm really excited to see what's the message for me. They have promo that if you got the special surprised message you will get free Tikoy from them but sad to say I didn't won. Not for me may tikoy naman na kasi ako sa house so it's okay.

Serving time is 15-20 mins. Price is okay and food is good, service was good and staffs are nice and the place was clean and relaxing for a Chinese cuisine. They have function room also.

dissapointed.

Hawak - not sure ano yung crunch na kasama ng shrimp but i didn't liked it.

HK Milktea - puro liquid sugar. parang hindi yung authentic.

Service - 1 star (in fairness bumalik pa ko for another try sa hap chan just to check kung magiging ok but mas worse pa yung service sa second na balik ko.)

BEWARE: Just make sure yung MENU PRICE and RECEIPT same ng price, minsan hindi pareho. Happened twice. It's not how much the difference but atleast dapat updated sila sa lahat.

Serves authentic, yummy hong kong tea house specialties since 1997! Prices are affordable. Resto evokes a modern chinese ambiance. Service crew are pleasant and attentive. Accepts reservation for functions & parties. Also delivers @ 477-5955 or 280-5300. Must try: salt & pepper squid, lemon chicken, sweet & sour pork, fish fillet w/ garlic, beef w/ brocolli, patatim w/cuapao, yang chow, mixed meat canton, beef wanton noodles, etc :) Plus of course their freshly cooked dimsums, butchi with ube paste.. And so much more!
