Hap chan is the best place to be..wide selection of food and really nice ambiance..:-) 128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻

If our family is craving for chinese food, Hap Chan is always our choice. Ambiance is also good and their restaurant is well kept. No problem encountered with staff as well. Yummy food even for kids who are really not into chinese food. We love their "Pata Tim" (drools)

Ordered Hot Prawn Salad but they don't have Prawns and they suggested Shrimp instead. It's supposed to taste similar but the difference is just evident. Prawns were of course bigger and goes well with the sauce but the shrimps just lacked consistency. The integrity of the dish were indeed sacrificed by the swap. 128542

I've always thought that japanese food was my one true love. But then, chinese food and I met. Now, I am torn!

Chinese food was incomparable.

Here we have roasted pork asado, hakaw (to die for!), and thailand seafood curry hotpot. I'm not sure why it says 'thailand' when it was a chinese resto..anyway!

That hotpot was my all time favorite. This orange colored dish (upper left) had a delicate texture due to vermicelli a.k.a sotanghon, all on the pot with perfectly cooked shrimp, cuttlefish and some traces of egg. It was simple dish with mild flavor. Does not taste like the typical curry at all! This is definitely a must try :D

Roasted pork asado reminded me of pork tocino. What's nice about it was the meat was so tender..and juicy! Nothing too special though but worth the price.

Hakaw, which seemed to be a staple among chinese restos, is my weakness. I've tried it from 3 different restos now, and all I could say was..I love it! No matter where it came from, hakaw does not seem to disappoint.

The tea served before the meal was nice too :) I also love the ambience of this place. Nice red lanterns hanging on the ceiling. Though I find the place a little bit dim, hence the bad photos.

Overall, total pocket damage was around P 790 good for 4 friends. But since it was just me and bf, we really felt like pigs! Happy pigs :D

P.S.
Yes! So good to be back here at looloo! I've followed this diet thingy for 3 weeks so I refrained from opening my looloo app to avoid distraction (I know, the pain was unbearable. But I had to be strong!). So yes, I'm back and have been pigging out for a couple of days now :D

hapchan always makes me feel full in every spoonful of yangchow and 2 main..just can't stop myself from cleaning up my plate to the very last grain of rice.

Ordered yang chow (all-time fave) and their signature crispy chicken. Also new to the menu is their beef w/ scrambled egg..yes its just scrambled egg with beef strips in it. weird combo at first but it does taste good (i love scrambled egg so i dont complain). The only sad part..it expensive for a simple dish.

Crowded and disorganized place (typical for a chinese resto) but it is compensated by good food. :)

Exact loc - Market Market nga pero sa foodcourt, Hap Chan express lang ito. Haha

Featuring - rice topping, Beef in Oyster Sauce, with veggies and free soup pero d n nya nilagyan ng soup dko alam kung nakalimutan or dahil take out, dko nlng inavail haha hirit p sana ako eh kaso hassle much haha

Price - P70, no extra charge for the microwavable na lagayan haha yey!!!

Servings - mejo kulang lang ung beef haha, tapos ung veggies nya nahiya siguro ung naglalagay, mejo joke ng slight eh haha

Taste - masarap ung beef infair! Malasa sya. Tapos malambot, d kse nabali ung plastic spoon and fork nun ginamit ko hahaha! Oo un ang basehan. Masaucy haha so kahit kulang ung beef kineri ng sauce ang ibang kanin haha! Wag kna mag extra rice kse sakto lang sya tlga. Ung veggies nmn ayos din, may potato, buti hindi corns!!

Overall - keri!!

Of all the restaus we passed by while strolling in Serendra, we ended up choosing Hap Chan...hahaha, syempre chinese food again!

The cold cuts platter is superb! It looks soo good in the picture and the taste as well. I lurve the crunchy, cold seaweeds...

Yang chow reigns forever my favorite! 10084
And Wanton noodles is good enough.128536

I had my fair share of Chinese food over the years. And whenever I eat in one, i almost always order Hakaw (shrimp dumpling).

Unfortunately, not my best experience. I had lechon macau which is too rubbery for my taste, not to mention it's pricey. And so does the Hakaw. Overcooked and gummy.

This is one of those days that I wish we have Panda Express here in Manila. That's Chinese fastfood at it's best.

Sorry Hap Chan, not happy with you.

I ordered BEEF-wanton noodles and it came out like that, there was just a tiny winy bit of beef under all of that...

A big let down!

Had lunch at Hap Chan after attending church. Dad picked one dish per category on their menu (was that right?), oh well. The service may be a little slow on serving the foods we ordered specially the rice, dumating na lahat ng ulam yun rice wala pa. Still, I get to eat a lot and I super love their Hakao. 12 persons, 2 tables and the bill was only 2k. Akala ko yun madaming yun aabot ng 4k. Happy Tummy for us! :)
