Hap Chan is one of my go-to places for affordable and good Chinese food. I actually like their food better than North Park's. I love their fried chicken, sweet and sour fish, yang chow... the list goes on because basically I like almost everything on their menu. 128514 If you hate crowds and queueing, this is the perfect branch to visit (only if you live nearby ofc), since not much people frequent this place.

Going to the airport thru Sucat road could be challenging at times. So if you need a quick fix of good meal I can recommend the Hap Chan branch in waltermart along Sucat road in Lopez area.
Parking is a breeze, a well- maintained Hap Chan branch inside. Manager was kind enough to recommend a vegetarian meal, Lo Han Chay and the garlic-topped blanched vegetables. I enjoyed it. Quick, fresh ingredients used, low key and no fuzz.

There are a lot, and I mean a lot, of Chinese restaurants scattered all over the metro, offering your tastebuds a piece of their exquisitely cooked, delicious cuisines. There is definitely one -- or two -- near your place. As for me, the nearest are Hap Chan and Flavours of China.

Wanting to explore Parañaque more (which isn't a lot if we're talking about 'pasyalan'), my partner met up with me in Walter Mart. He suddenly craved for Chinese food, and since Hap Chan is the only establishment that would satisfy his specific craving, we settled there.

He took his laptop out and started working while I called the attention of the waiter. We ordered Lechon Macau (P260), Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet (P280), and Yang Chow Rice (P230). It was very affordable considering they claim to be the leading authentic Chinese restaurant in the country.

They did no compromise, flavor wise, as their food tasted good. It would have been better had we ordered soup, but that is going to be for another looloo review, then.

Hap Chan's Lechon Macau was roasted to perfection. The meat was crunchy and tender at the same time, which I really liked. The Sweet and Sour Fish fillet encouraged me to eat more when I started having a taste of the sweet-sour combination in my mouth. Their Yang Chow Fried Rice was great, too.

In conclusion, Hap Chan did not disappoint us in satisfying our craving for Chinese food. For an affordable price, one can get more from he paid for. I would definitely go back to try out their other so-called Chinese classic, as well as their Nido soup.

Me and my mom barely able to spend time together due to time constraints. Usually when i get home, she's about to work. So when we have time to go put we try to maximize it as much as possible.

One time she bought me to one of her favorite Chinese restaurant which is Hap Chan. The place and ambience is good you really get the feel to eat some Chinese.

We ordered Orange Chicken which is really yummy and of course some dumplings. Really awesome. I would really love to go back, perchance i will treat my mom next time.

It's my Mom's and husband's favorite Chinese place nearby. Kuya Derick is our most frequent server so there are times he need not to as our orders. Lol

I would highly recommend the following dishes:

Yang chow fried rice
Salt and pepper squid
My favorite - Lumpiang Shanghai
Beef with brocolli
Salt and pepper spare ribs

And for the beverages, we always have Ripe mango shake and white gulaman.

Price is much cheaper than north park but the taste seems just similar.

The verdict

(I was picking in the food looking for them)

Sweet and sour pork - was ok the usual nothing special

Chicken feet w/ taosi- was ok but there was no taosi

The rest was ok.

Service was bad128581128581128078128078128078

And when he was getting our orders he was spaced out parang zombie tsk!!
