We were here last July 10, Sunday for lunch. We held here my Grandma's and Papa's birthday celebrations.

I tried to make a reservation a day before since we are a big family (we are 25), but unfortunately I was told that they do not accept reservation. I was kinda pissed because we are a big group and most of the time we have to reserve a seat whenever we have to eat in a restaurant. And just to push through with our family lunch, we managed to arrive there a little early so we can have our sure seats.

There were variety of viands to choose from. Mostly Filipino dishes like Fried Tilapia, Kare-Kare, Breaded Dilis, Pancit Bihon, Tahong Soup, etc. The food was ok, nothing very spectacular. There were also desserts like marshmallow dipped in chocolate, stick-o, and some pastries.

All in all, there was no extra ordinary with their buffet. What can you expect with a 299 worth of buffet? But we'll not definitely come back because we'd rather spend to good food than compromise our high rated tastebuds.

Officially the most memorable place of 2015!128141128525 My boyfriend (and now, fiancé) had the entire place shut down for my surprise flashmob/wedding proposal! The place was beautifully decorated from the 3d background to the dessert table! According to my fiancé, the manager was very accommodating and really took into consideration all of his specifications. He even had banners made for us too!128522

I wasn't able to try the food because we were so busy entertaining everyone but I overheard some of our guests and seems like they loved everything from start to finish.

The ambiance and the service were great. Songs played by live singers or band is a plus. The food is your typical filipino food. The servings are enough for 3 person but they are very generous on their shrimp sinigang. I actually love and recommend this place to my friends.

The newest craze is Malolos. Hapag is a medyo fine dining restaurant at the Capitol area of Bulacan. It is rated as the number 1 Ang Pinaka Yummy homegrown restaurant in the province by the GMA News TV show Ang Pinaka.

The place is always jam packed, it is better to go there early to avoid long minutes of waiting time.

I really enjoyed our family dinner here while kids are serenading you with their violins.

Must order dishes are the lechon kawali kare-kare, 3-in-1 siniging with pork, beef and shrimp.

For appetizer, you should try their Nachos with Longganisa de Calumpit (Calumpit longganisa is really delicious).

For dessert, because halo-halo is too mainstream, you should try their Pastillas con Hielo. Pastillas from San Miguel Bulacan which is made from fresh carabao milk.

Hapag, an events place most likely because of its semi-formal ambience when you enter the hall. The food is mostly the specialties of Bulacan like Liempo-KareKare, Adobo, Sinangag (Fried Rice), Sinigang 3-in-1 (Pork,Fish,Shrimp), and many more. The waiting area is designed with a family tree with pictures of some politician-celebrities who already visited the place. The price? Good for 2-3 persons per servings at 200+ each dish is 128076. Try visiting Hapag! 128522

I do really love this place because of the ambiance and the food they serve at a very affordable price. Last monday, I went here with my friends and we were so amazed with their halloween theme restaurant. The wall and tables are all filled with halloween decorations and the one on this photo is the one placed at the entrance of the resto.

This place is highly recommendable for those who want to eat at a fine dining resto in Bulacan.

I love Hapag. It is one of the best restaurants in Malolos. It is strategically located inside the capitol compound and is near to the campuses and government agencies in the city. This time I tried their Longganisa Pasta de Calumpit and it was superb! I love longganisang Calumpit and this pasta dish gave it a new story. When headed to Malolos, go visit this place. 10084

Hapag is a filipino cuisine and was rated as Number 1 resto in Bulacan by the TV show "Ang Pinaka". What you'll love the most about this place is it's ambiance. It's a fine dining restaurant in Bulacan with live acoustic band every weekends :)

The food ranges from P120-200 per head only. Pasalubong ranges from P140-300, these are toated pastillas, barquillos, etc.

Lechon Kare Kare FTW! 128076

Looking for a mini putok batok lunch in Malolos? Drop by here!

Crispy and salty in a good way-lechon, topped with the nutty and yummy kare kare sauce, and with vegetables. Well, For the veggies, I ate the pechay...and gave the eggplant and other stuff to my boss. 128517

Sure win!

They also serve deli-desserts daw, I haven't had a chance to grabe em' so I'll do it next time! 128513

Last Mothers' Day, we dropped by Hapag to try to get a dinner reservation, however, we were sadly informed that reservations weren't allowed.

We went back a few hours later (for dinner) and luckily the place was not crowded yet. We chose to be seated near their historical wall mural (for photo ops purposes ;D).

Couldn't remember everything that we ordered, but all were really yummy, especially the Lechon Kawali Karekare.

They don't serve drinks in pitchers...
...they serve drinks in towers (beer towers) for only 150 pesos! :)
