Okay so, aside from serving cream puffs, the branch at shangri la Edsa serves food. I got this cordon bleu and they're good. Did not expect it to be so, but they're damn good. Sorry for the photo, i got them to go.

Got these:
Cream puff assorted 10 pcs - P200
Chicken Cordon Bleu - P250

Looks like this is the only store that offers other dishes. They also have japanese and filipino choices on the menu. Pastas are on there too.

After attending Eiga Sai (Japanese film festival) at the Shang, my sister and I were looking for some different place to eat. We walked into the mall's posh East Wing (it was only my second time to be there), where most restaurants seemed expensive and intimidating.

Until we passed by Happy Cream Puff and got drawn by its signboards promoting affordable set meals (up to ₱220), as well as the attractive and colorful display of cream puffs. So we went in.

What we ordered:

🔹Beef Caldereta - ₱199
🔹Karaage - ₱180
🔹Hand-drip coffee (with liquid creamer) - ₱110
🔹Caramel Macchiato - ₱125
🔹Chocolate eclair - ₱140
🔹Petite puffs (one matcha, one blueberry, ₱25 each) - ₱50

I like a spicy caldereta, so their caldereta just hit right the spot. The beef was tender, and the dish was not too saucy but still tasty. My sister shared her chicken karaage with me, and it was OK, just like other karaage. Each dish was served with a small bowl of hot soup, small heaps of shredded vegetables and a Kewpie roasted sesame salad dressing (or at least it tasted like it), which is a favorite. Obviously, I loved the salad. Kulang lang ung rice (one small cup) considering medyo madaming ulam he he. Sabagay sulit na rin dahil me gulay na kasama as well as mainit na sabaw.

I liked the cream puffs although I couldn't taste a remarkable difference between the chocolate eclair cream puff and the petite matcha cream puff, parang halos pareho lang lasa nila, so that's why the blueberry ended up as a favorite.

Next time will try to go back there again to buy a box of assorted cream puffs (₱200 for a box of 10 or ₱280 for a box of 14) just to try other flavors.

The place was cozy, plus it also had an electric outlet (I also happened to bring my cellphone charger so yay charge-charge habang kumakain). Nice and friendly staff too. To sum it up, we were mostly happy with the Happy Cream Puff. 128522

Rushed to Shangri-la for some errands during lunch break last Tuesday, and later on, found myself in the food corners of the East Wing. Was craving for some dessert and my friend recommended that we try the cream puff.

Ordered the original cream puff and a mini one dipped in white and milk chocolate- I loved it! The custard filling wasn't too sweet for my taste, and the puff crust (although messy) melts together with the delicious filling. After you finish a piece, you wish you had a next one to indulge in.

Was also so surprised that this restaurant also serves rice meals, which I also assume are very tasty. Heard they had weekend buffets with a sort of "cream puff all you can" thing going on as well!

Hope to try it again soon because their karaage and matcha cream puff were calling out to me! (HAHAHA)

It was already 4 p.m. when we got to Shangri-La and with no food in our bellies; we were starting to get cranky. My sister and I decided to go to Happy Cream Puff for a quick meal before doing other errands.

Konnichiwa, Happy Cream Puff!

This time around, I decided to go for the Nagoya Spaghetti (PHP230) while my sister ordered the Salisbury steak. We also got Banana Nama Éclair (PHP105) for dessert.

For some reason, I was so addicted to spaghetti that week. Just the day before, I also had spaghetti. I felt like I was possessed by Hetty Spaghetti. Anyway…

It may seem odd but spaghetti with egg on a sizzling plate was not a bad idea at all. It went well together. The sauce was slightly tangy and the pasta was a bit chewy. It made the h”a”ngry tummy happy.

I took some of my sister’s fries that went with her Salisbury steak. We were surprised that underneath the fried egg, there was another patty. Yay! I didn’t get to try it though but she finished the whole thing. And as a picky eater, that means that the dish was good.

The Banana Nama Éclair wasn’t sweet at all so it’s perfect for those who want dessert yet doesn’t like the guilty feeling that comes with it. Well, I’m sure the calorie level of this one is still higher compared to a cup of yogurt but hey, no one eats cream puffs or éclairs every day. Go treat yourself. <3

Yes, this is still one happy place for me. :D

Tried their sandwich combo. Got:

1. Ham and cheese
2. Hot matcha green tea
3. Cocoa petite puff

All for 250 pesos. :) not bad.

But I did order extra regular-sized cream puffs and eclairs. The petite puff wasn't enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. 128517

Service was a bit slow, but the wait was worth it.
Place could be fixed to look more interesting, or maybe to feel more cozy? Or did they really mean for it to feel like an upscale canteen/cafeteria? 128584

Omg, these eclairs are so good!

What I love about it is, it's not too sweet. The filling is delicious. Just perfect in my opinion. 128521

Their cream puffs are delicious too, I just don't buy the ones that look so fancy, only the caramel glazed.

Happy food indeed! 128522

This is my quick fix when I'm craving for cream puffs! I prefer Caramel Cream Puffs vs the plain ones (no caramel on top). Each piece costs Php45.

They also have limited hot meals (pasta, sabdwiches & curry).

Service was bad, very slow and they're all at the counter, kitchen talking. They should have 1 server who'll look after the needs of their guests at their dining area.

I actually thought that they only serve desserts at this place..

It was actually by mom and bro who discovered that they also offer dishes.
I had the carbonara (P180)
It was deliciously creamy plus the serving was huge..good for 2 persons.

Best caramel cream puff in the metro for me! Better than dulcinea and aristocrat. I love the big varieties. Their pasta and sandwiches are also good, but can be better

I'm not blown away with Happy Creampuff's Japanese Petit Macha, blueberry, and caramel almond cream puffs. While the specific flavors were there and the cream filling just right, I found the choux pastry too airy and ordinary. I guess I was expecting more being this was a Japanese Cafe specializing in these pastries. Good thing their petit cream puffs were very affordable at only 30 per piece.

The saving factor on this visit was their original drip coffee. I liked the full, robust, earthy, nicely acidic flavor of their coffee. Even taken black without sugar, it was surely a cup of caffeine that I enjoyed.

Shangrila mall food fest continues 128541

Happy cream puff... didn't leave me happy and breathless after the first bite ... Haha

The cream is okay....creamy & not sweet just like any authentic Japanese dessert offered everywhere(in malls,train/subway stations). But the bread itself tasted old ... Sad 128530

Cappuccino didn't even perk me up ...taste so so

Meals looks not too bad .. Maybe will come back for that someday 128521

On pic cappuccino , caramel cream puff ,mango Nama choux , other flavours puffs

250 for a box of 10. Kinda pricey. Dulcinea's is way cheaper!

Got assorted crempuffs! But caramel would be the classic and my fave. I wish they would have more caramel on top! But, yeah the taste was okay.

Good service and very fast as well.
