Matcha Green Tea with Rock Salt & Cheese just awhile ago to bring in to the movies 🖖 Live long and prosper.

Happy lemon is one of my favorite milk tea places. I'm glad the server reminded me that it's better to drink it without the lid or a straw to enjoy the cheese topping. I did cover it pa din after a few sips as I didn't want to accidentally spill it inside the theater.

I wasn't planning on reviewing this but I was saddened that the tea itself was bitter, which I'm guessing is from over steeped leaves. And it tasted like jasmine tea, which isn't a bad thing. And as with every purchase here, I need a bigger cup. The large is not large enough. Jumbo size option please!

Went to BHS Central Square on a Wednesday to catch Me Before You on it's first day of screening. While waiting for my friends, I checked |ooloo for food options and was happy to spot Happy Lemon. Went to the Cinema area and looked for Happy Lemon. I was so glad when I saw that this branch offers the HK Style Waffle. Immediately got one Matcha Bubble and a Large Iced Pomelo Grapefruit Green Tea as my drink.

The cashier said that it will take 10 mins to prepare the Matcha Bubble and I was fine with that. I also asked them to serve my drink with the Matcha Bubble.

When served, the Matcha Bubble was in a paper pouch and looked so soft and soggy. The paper pouch also had lots of oil blotches. It was still a little hot but after taking too many shots lol it's warmness was just the right temp to start munching. I loved that the waffle was crispy outside but soft inside. It wasn't too sweet and had a good kick of Matcha. It was almost leaning to being bitter, if you're like me who likes to eat non-stop until I get satiated. Not bad at all! Even after a couple of minutes and it was no longer warm, the waffle retained it's crisp.

The drink I got was just okay. It's refreshing but too bitter for my liking. Maybe I should have chosen a different fruit mix.

Would love to try the Chocolate Bubble next time!

Love the matcha ice blended drink! With red beans, pudding and pearl. Yum! The size is a bit small though, bitin! Their aircon is broken though, so al fresco lang.

I am a Matcha addict and while I was walking home I thought it'd be fun to explore the different Matcha drinks out there and call this exciting new adventure "Matcha Want 127861". I decided to stop at the nearest Happy Lemon place for a start and order their Matcha Dinosaur from their Milo Series. It's an iced matcha latte drink mixed and topped with milo powder, though I prefer mine unmixed and with 50% sweetness because the milo powder can overpower the taste of the matcha when you mix it right away and can make the drink a little bit too sweet for my taste buds. I wouldn't mind making the sweetness down to 25% next time though. Overall, it was a nice and refreshing drink, considering that you have to tailor it according to your own preference.

Love their milk tea with pearl, nata and pudding. My only beef with them is that they put so much ice by default! So if you don't specify otherwise, almost 75% of the glass has ice and even when your drink is done, all the toppings are trapped in ice! Not really fun and makes you feel you didn't get your money's worth of milk tea!

Next time I will ask them to just put 50% ice so I can enjoy the drink better.

Their Cocoa Rock Salt and Milk Tea taste different from other branches. They're a bit bland. The pearls were also overcooked.

I went to Central Square in Bonifacio High Street Central to buy something to eat. However, I ended up buying at the newly opened Happy Lemon there. I think it started operating last December. Anyways, I tried their new Cocoa with OREO Rock salt and Cheese. Oreo and Cocoa with rock salt and cheese are my favorite and combining the two of them is like heaven to me! :)
