One of the best cheesecakes evaaaaah! We usually order the Oreo but decided to try Red Velvet naman this time. It was PHP230 per slice, expensive if you ask me. I prefer the oreo one, but this had the same cheesecake base so it’s still yummerz. 10084

Sorry for the hepatitis-ness of the pics. Ung lighting kse 128517

First time here with a friend. We were so hungry so we got the kare kare and pesto pasta. For dessert, red velvet cake.

Kare kare - 1108811088110881108811088️ this is my favorite local dish and when it's done right, I will come back for more! Served with bagnet, the usual peanut sauce and veggies become more interesting, even without bagoong for me (allergies)

Chicken pesto pasta - ok lang. my favorite is still from Italliani's. kulang sa salt

Red velvet cupcake - dense, moist, 🤤🤤128523

Service was ok. The servers seemed in a hurry but no biggie. They were nice enough.

Last last Friday, my mom's officemates and I had the opportunity to try out Ara Mina’s café called Hazelberry Café. Hazelberry Café is located along Don Antonio, in Pwesto Community Mall.
These were the food we ordered:

• Buffalo Wings (225php/5pcs)
• Fish Lumpiang Shanghai (199php/5pcs)
• Jaime’s Streetfood Platter (165php)
• Cheesy Corn Poppies (99php/5pcs)
• CQ Crispy Kare-Kare (225php)
• Bagoong Rice w/ Pork Belly (190php)
• Mandy’s Fried Chicken (150php/2pcs)
• Ara’s Oreo Cheesecake (195php/per slice)

Their food in general needs more attention to it. Each food wasn’t consistent when it came to the quality. One area of the food was yummy but another food aspect wasn’t yummy. Their Mandy’s Fried Chicken needs attention to it because I found it too maalat. That’s why I was only able to eat one pc of the chicken. Although, I would have to applaud for their Buffalo Wings. It was addicting but more spice is needed to make it on point.

I wasn’t able to try the dessert but they said it’s really good. As far as I know, Ara herself makes these cakes.

Do I plan to go back? Only for the cakes because I got a BAAAAD stomach flu after eating in this restaurant. HUHUHUHU

Hidden gem along Holy Spirit street, this cafe is a must try for fancy coffee and delicious cheesecakes! Writing about it today without having desires of eating their cheesecake is making me go crazy.

Must Try:
Ara Mina’s Oreo Cheesecake P220

We tried a slice of blueberry cheesecake and shared oreo cheesecake that is served in a reusable jar. Goes well with a cup of joe and it is enough to complete your day. I was clueless Ara Mina had skills in baking and I have to say she is good.

Apart from desserts, they also have a wide variety of food and drinks on the menu which is only telling me one thing: GO BACK! Yes, I have to be back soon.

They serve the best Oreo cheesecake this side of town. For home sweet home comfort food and desserts, drop by newly-opened Hazelberry. 128077

FOOD 1108811088110881108811088
Super duper good!!! All food that we ordered were reccommended!! Masarap and worth the price. My personal fave was Buffalo Wings (they are big! Promise!), Kara-Kare (not a fan of this pero nasarapan ako! So I guess 128076🏼128076🏼128076🏼), and their Mixed Berries Short Cake (not a fan of chiffon cake, pero I enjoyed it. Supposedly, cheesecake dapat order namin kaso ubos na raw.)

PRICE 110881108811088
About the price, it is quite pricey but I'm telling you, worth it! Go for it!

AMBIANCE 110881108811088

The place is owned by Ara Mina, the actress. Maybe it was just a bad time to come because the chef was suffering from asthma when we came. Wait time was more than 30 minutes. We ordered seafood pasta, which had a carbonara sauce but had seafood, including a shrimp with head, in it; lechon kawali paired with bagoong rice; and tapsilog. We have to say that there wasn't anything particularly spectacular about any of the dishes. At most, I can only say the lechon kawali and tapsilog are comparable with those served by Tapa King. Of course, the bagoong rice with the lechon was a twist but not much really. The seafood pasta was a little better. Ara Mina that's her recipe, and, if so, then it wasn't bad at all. She said she will introduce a couple of fish dishes in the future but for now, the place doesn't really offer much meal-wise. We did hear, however, that their chocolate cake was good but that it ran out that night. Oh well. Price-wise, I thought it was expected -- prices from P200 to P300 -- but not exactly good money for value. The passion fruit drink at around P130 was likewise a bit pricey for me. All around, it was just okay for me.
