We initially wanted to dine at Manam. But it was full and we were 8th in line, we decided to have our dinner here instead. The three of us ordered beef tenderloin sets. We all had happy full tummies :D

My mom wanted shabu-shabu so I suggested this place. I've read about it before but the reviews weren't very convincing. I only suggested this place because the other shabu shabu restaurant in MoA is four seasons and that one's a diet killer128517 My chinese side can't bare to eat just the right amount of food at buffets #notsulit 128055

When we got there, the place was still closed. We were confused at first because they didn't have a sign at the door that showed if they were open/closed. When they finally opened, we got our seats right away because we were the first diners + we were hungry!

Our orders consisted of one seafood set A for my mom, chicken set for me and my sister, plus add-ons of fishcakes, dumplings and meatballs. The sets can be good for two people; they come with egg noodles, sotanghon, crabsticks, veggies, corn, tofu and meat and squid balls.

They only have one soup base and it's chicken broth. Warning: it's pretty bland so don't drink the soup before putting in the ingredients. The stuff that you're going to cook are supposed to flavor the soup. They give one serving of satay per set, spring onions, chili and minced garlic which you can add to the soup. Pretty neat that they have a guide for cooking times for the raw food. We did not follow that though haha As for the sauce, you can make it on your own or ask them to make it for you 128522 We enjoyed everything that we got, except for the dumplings - the filling tasted like gyoza. It just did not match well with the rest of the food. At the end on the meal, they served us cold peaches and lychee. Not sure why, maybe it's part of the set.

PS: They don't have chili oil/hot oil
Our hypothesis is that they don't stock chili oil because it's unhealthy 128514

Was here with my mom after a tiring walk around Philconstruct at SMX and I was practically starving. So happy to have eaten at Healthy Shabu Shabu after so long because I really don’t get to eat here so much anymore.

Since we were only two, we only had one order of their Beef Striploin set which I think isn’t even 400 pesos? We also ordered Tempura and our favorite Angus Fried Rice.

Service wasn’t so speedy considering the restaurant wasn’t even half full. Our soup was just about ready to be eaten until we remembered that the beef hadn't even arrived yet. So we had to take all the veggies out. We already had big servings of our soup by the time the tempura arrived, and I was about halfway through that dish before the Angus Fried Rice arrived. The rice was quite disappointing because it didn’t look much like the usual. It was so dry and not even half the rice was covered in the sauce. We asked them to re-do the rice. After around 10 minutes it arrived, looking “better” but when we tasted it it seemed like some other seasoning was added (similar to the taste of ‘chinese’ kikiam). Now it didn’t even look or taste like it was supposed to. Talked to their supervisor about this, and we opted to just return the rice and have it removed from our order list.

The shabu-shabu was really good and the tempura tasted just the same, but will probably stick to the Podium branch for future Healthy Shabu Shabu dining.

Honestly, I am not a shabu shabu lover so when I found out that my friend will treat us here, I didn't expect that much food to eat.

My friend ordered a Seafood Platter and Chicken. The veggies were present on our table too! We actually had fun on 'cooking' in our bowl. Others preferred to boil the egg, but I opted to crack it and mix it on the soup.

I may have a wrong perception of shabu shabu before, but now I know that shabu shabu will make your stomach full and very satisfied! It's healthy too!

It's really great to share good food with friends especially when you're gonna cook it by yourselves. 128516

One of my best friend, Katty, celebrate and treat us here at Shabu Shabu. I've been here a lot of times and until now, I still love to dine here. Going healthy I must say? Yes! Many might think no one would enjoy eating grass and all, but think again. For a carnivore like me, Shabu Shabu is one of the few places I can be a herbivore. They offers wide varieties of food choices, well of course, everything in the menu is healthy. Still, you'll feel happy and satisfied without worrying how many calories you drop on your tummy.

You cook your own food here, it's like playing 'Bahay-Bahayan' as you mix all your ingredients in a hot pot. What we got here is Chicken sliced thinly, mix seafood and veggies. Drop everything you want and wait it til its cooked.

You might find the price a bit high, but I can say, what you pay is what's its worth. Will definitely be here soon again! 9786

Aaaaand I'm back to my favorite shabu-shabu place! Dinner was soooo good as usual. We ordered a group meal - Striploin Set with Seafood <3 My tummy screams satisfaction! Also, I would like to acknowledge Peter, our very 'bibo' server :)

If you're on a diet and looking for healthy food, well this is the right place for you. Not only they offer healthy food, but it is not like other shabu2x restos that has a one pot in one table. Each person will have their own pot infront of them where you can have your own "timpla" of the chicken stock which is really tasty!
We ordered angus beef with 2 seafood set. We paid around 1600p, though its a lil pricey for two person but its still worth it coz the food is hella good and i really enjoyed cooking the food. Lol127836

This is where we held my after grad-celebration. That was after April 12, 2012. As my 4th time visiting the place, we ordered a different menu that time, cos we always take Mixed Seafood Set B whenever I'm with a friend. That's around 900php inclusive of tax.

So as I was saying, we had US angus beef and seafood set, some beverages, we almost hit 4k. Taught my parents en bro how to do the simple cooking cos shabu shabu restaurants aren't that famous in Riyadh. 'twas cool though. 4k is worth it since we all went home "super busog" en satisfied. We even asked the waiter to pack the left overs cos we weren't able to finish those all. Anyway you can cook em at home too, cos they pack cold cuts very well en also spices and sauce are given. Imagine we were served with 3 huge platters. En oh btw, food sets you choose is inclusive with a 2 kinds of noodles en vegetables.

As their restaurant name suggests, Healthy Shabu Shabu really offers healthy options for the diners.

We tried the Mixed Seafood platter which is composed of fish, squid and shrimp. It also comes with a platter of mixed greens, noodles, corn, tofu, crab sticks and other small food items to dunk.

The broth is flavorful and continues to be every time you dunk your food items. Each of the food items looked and tasted fresh as well.

One of the notable things about this shabu shabu place is that each table set up comes with an individual hotpot for everyone seated thus, allowing you to do whatever you want using your own style and yeah, no food fight! Haha. Once the broth is poured in your hot pot, it's all up to you.

Price-wise, it doesn't cost as much as the other shabu shabu places. And it's worth it!
