Now called the Hennan Regency, it's not a bad option when staying in Boracay.

Service is as expected: from the moment you step out of the Caticlan airport, you are whisked away in the comfort of their van, led to a private jetty where you're given cold towels, then brought to their speedboat ala James Bond.

Upon arrival at Boracay, you go to a different portion of the jetty and are led back to the van which will then bring you to the resort.

Now on to the resort: it's huge, with three different pool areas and wings. We stayed in the East Wing where we had a view of the pool. The room was alright. The showerhead, however has seen better days. Sana man lang rainshower for the price. But then, I better stop complaining. It's Boracay anyway...

We tried all of the pools. While they were pristine and well maintained, they could use a bit of heating. For some strange reason, the water was so cold this time of year.

The resort has their own space at the beach which based on what I saw, had less algae on the island. Sometimes, the crew would ask if you needed a towel from the pool. Other times, you had to be the one to get it. Depende sa mood nila I guess! 128518 So medyo inconsistent sila on this part 128561

Would I stay again? Maybe. Although the lure of staying in a place like Shang or Discovery is quite tempting (yet frightening to my bank account).

Last week, I had the opportunity to stay in Boracay Regency since my parents had a conference with the IT Organization of Boracay.

✔️ Accomodation
From the airport, we went to the Henann Group of Resorts waiting area which is right in front of the airport. After a few minutes, a van arrived to pick us up and bring us to the port. Once we arrived the port, a speedboat was already waiting for us ! @-) They really took great care of our bags and made sure that everything was in order.

When we checked in the hotel, another room was supposedly be given to us but they were able to find a way for us to take a rest since we arrived around 10am. The room that they gave us was in the 3rd floor which consists of 1 king and 1 single bed.

The staffs were very fast and efficient. I stayed at the single bed and it unexpectedly got wet due to the dripping from the aircon. I called room service and they were so quick in fixing my bed so that I can rest properly.

This post is dedicated to the staff of Boracay Regency for a job well done with their services ! I can't wait to go back & stay in this hotel :)

This was my home in Boracay for one full day and two nights, where world-class amenities meet personalized service.

Typhoon Yolanda had caused some noticeable yet minor hiccups in the hotel.

The A/C would shut down when they would shift from transmission electricity to generator power.

The hotel would turn of the heater to your room every so often to save on electricity, but would turn it on with one phone call.

Acceptable inconveniences when you consider what caused them in the first place.

And the best reason why I loved this place so much?

I got to stay here for free. Part of my friends' birthday/Christmas gift to me.

Cheers to Boracay! 127867

I wish to share my bora 2012 photos but I can't pick one that would give justice to Bora Regency. Anyway, we went here last August 2012 because my sister just came home from her 2 years stay in Paris and her boyfriend and other tagged along. We were a group of 6.

When my mom and my sister went to Bora before, this is where they stayed. So we stayed here the time we went. First of all, their buffet is lovely so that's for another review.

Our total for our stay in boracay Regency wa around 27,000 php per person for a stay for five days. It was actually fair enough. It includes our room, the one in the photo, Idk what that's called but we stayed in the rooms near the beach, this one (facing the hotel) is on the right side of the Boracay Regency sign and restaurant. The package includes breakfast lunch and dinner buffet for the duration of your stay.

Our room had two twin sized beds and a semi bigger bed. So three total beds. There was one bathroom and there was a mini hallways connecting to another smaller room inside te whole room. Kind of like another private bedroom inside. There were 2 television sets, complete welcome kits, and outside a thingy where you can hang your clothes and a mini table and 2 chairs. My customized havs got stolen and the management was nice enough to show us the footage of their cctv. They said though that we won't be able to get it anymore but we were very glad for their assistance.

Their concierge assistants were very professional and very accommodating.

They will also give you beach towels every time you go to their beaches. They're coloured blue and green and you can ask for it everyday just as long as you return what you borrowed. They have a long line of beach chairs and umbrellas in front of the shore.

They have around 3 pools inside the resort.

Idk if I already said everything but Boracay Regency was a place worth staying and you're staying in Station 2 so its near everything!

Really good for vacations!

loved the rooms fronting the pool/with pool access! but beware when you leave your towels on their beach beds.. some people, local or tourists I dont know.. are stealing them!! and we needed to talk to the lobby to explain so we don't have to pay for additional charges for towels not returned.. it happened twice to us!!!! nonetheless, it has always been the resort we stay at since 6 years.. =)
