This is the second time I visited this place, but the first time for a full meal. My first visit was just a beer run. Given this, yesterday was the first time I looked at their menu. I found it really messy and a bit confusing. I believe there was a better way to present the information while still embracing that Mexican establishment vibe. I was trying to look for the appetizers but then I realized that the typical Mexican dishes can stand as appetizers themselves already.

While we were slowly eliminating restaurants to eat in, my girlfriend asked me what I wanted to eat. I can clearly remember saying, “Anything! No rice please!” It’s quite fitting then that I got a burrito. Not! I got a shredded beef burrito while my girlfriend got a Taco. Our dishes were each served with a side of salsa. Their salsa has a bit of a kick in it, but not that spicy. My burrito was huge! It was packed. It can get messy when eating it. The beef’s placement is in the middle of the burrito, so if you eat it top-down, you’ll end up with just rice and the wrap at the bottom. I ate it inwards. It’s going to be a bit more difficult to keep intact with this technique but at least you’ll have a bit of beef for every bite. The tacos were good as well. They were very generous with the meat.

I honestly thought that I needed to order a third dish for us, but their serving size is relatively big. It’s enough for one meal.

That’s it for now. Take care everyone!

Based on some local and international Mexican dishes I've tried, I'd say their soft shell tacos and wraps are really good compared to other Mexican restaus. Just the taco and wrap, not for the fillings. The fish taco could have been crispier but I liked it anyway. They've got good flavor and seasoning but everything seems to be short of it at the same time. It felt like an establishment trying to cost-cut on ingredients but the sad part is when you know they're not. It's like they're saving on sauce, dips and all the other flavoring as everything was terribly dry. Like this tamales (pic). I know mexican tamales are dry but we'd appreciate a bit more cheese sauce for something of that amount of serving. The burritos were so dry the rice had a fried rice texture already. The quesadilla's were delicious but lacked chicken filling too. The servings are huge, so that's a plus and we really enjoyed it & their horchata was amazing by the way. I think it's best someone check the proportions of the ingredients, maybe they could really make a killing if they just put more attention to the kitchen. 128522

Am not a fan. They did not have chicken for the burrito. We had the nachos with dehydrated steak, with the diet serving cheese thank you. I felt
Like i was beside the frying pan and smelled it too. Their prices are at par with some other mexican places, and at 250-350 pesos per serving, I feel I deserve more than what I got.

I was never a fan of Mexican food nor was I a burrito lover. But when I got older, for some reason, I started craving for it. Oh well, for someone who hated burritos before I love the ones they serve at this place. Since I haven't tried their California Burrito that's what I got the other day it was quite good. Well, I'd still prefer my burrito with rice like their Carne Asada but it wasn't bad at all. Their fish tacos are great too. The place may not be too appealing but who cares? It's really a good place whenever you feel like trying out Mexican food. They're one of the best.128522

Saw a looloo sticker on their door that's why we decided to try this place. I got the roasted chicken burrito and Magsie B got the beef quesadilla.

The burrito was good and huge, actually good for two. The star of the day was the beef quesadilla. A good blend of beef and cheese.

One thing is for sure, the looloo sticker won't disappoint 128516

Fish Tacos and Carne Asada fries! Hermanos never fails. Those fries are the ultimate pig-out and cheat food. The fish tacos are fresh and light. The salsa is freshly made as well with the right level of heat. It just sucks that they charge P30 if you want some extra.

Finally got to try hermano's last Sunday ü I'm not really too fond of Mexican food but my husband loves it so I kinda gave it to his request 128522
We walked here from Tokyo healthlink as around 1130AM. Seems that they just opened for the day. Immediately noticed the 'fried' smell that some reviewers have mentioned. Place is laid back with a few 'Mexican' decors. Menu is up on the wall and you line up to order. Since I love beef, I ordered the beef burrito. Hubby got the chimichanga and we shared the highly rated carne asada chips.
The chips were really good! Like you were in San Diego haha.. My burrito arrived shortly after. Sadly, there want much beef inside. Hubby's chimichanga looked fried to perfection and he finished it all haha. I only finished half of mine.
All in all a good tex-Mex place. Just not too fond of it. For the price, punta nalang Ako yushoken hahaha

Down South at the Molito Complex, you'll find Hermanos Taco Shop. We were eager to validate its claim of authentic Mexican Food.

The all-meat carne asada burrito was exactly as advertised, 10 hefty ounces of broiled, tender sirloin steak, not too salty for the palate. Caveat emptor, be sure to order some Mexican rice with this behemoth since it doesn't come with much else, only some melted cheese and guacamole to taste. Could be confused for a shawarma if you aren't paying attention.

The carne asada fries came with the same meat as above, and generously smothered with sour cream and cheese. Didn't over power the crisp, short cuts of spud though, which were deep-fried to golden perfection.

Only disappoint was the chimichanga, which outer shell was overfried. Tasted like stale oil smoke. The rice inside wasn't desirable either, as it was a little bland. The only redeeming factor was the size, as we didn't even finish this humongous log of a meal.

And be sure to sit outside unless you want to dive head-on in the smoke inside the restaurant. The server claimed it was because the food is freshly grilled. If only they had a good ventilation system....

We got the Carne Asada fries, Chimichanga, All Meat Burrito and the Horchata.

This is the only place I know that has Horchata. I love Horchata! Theirs is pretty good. 128077

The Carne Asada fries isn't anything great. I liked the one in Brasas better. The All Meat Burrito tasted like shawarma for me and I still like Agave's Chimichanga better.

Their food is ok but it's nothing amazing.

This small taco shop is the best Mexican food in the south! You must try their carne asada fries, as well as, their nachos. I usually order the all meat burrito since I don't like mine with rice. They have big servings so get ready to share, a meal for two would be around 750. My go-to Mexican in Alabang.

I love Hermano's 10084 I remembered how my brother took me here because I passed College Algebra!! Hahahaha. I really love their version of Tacos and Fries. Fries were a bit soft, not too 'deep fried', with matching cheese sauce and sauteed ground beef. A bit pricey, but so much worth it! My first 5 stars for Looloo goes to Hermano's! 128151

Their Surf and Turf burrito is probably the best burrito I've ever tasted!

Go to Cal-Mex place for tacos, burritos, nachos and everything Mexican. Order extra jalapeño for a hotter experience. The only thing missing is the margarita.

I got the Surf and Turf burrito and hubby got the Carne Asada burrito.

While hubby enjoyed his very much due to the very generous serving of beef strips, I was a bit disappointed with mine. Yes, you can taste and appreciate the shrimp servings but I kept on checking on the "turf" component. There was a lot of rice though... Rice kaya yung turf kasi sa lupa din? 128533

They offer the closest Mexican food in the metro but stick to their beef burrito and chimichanga instead.

Veggie burrito for me!!

This is the second time I've been to Hermano's and the food is legit. Hurts my pocket a bit. My friends ordered beef nachos and a steak burrito and someone can spy with his/her little eye a quesadilla. I 10084 the food here!

I just don't think they have a lot of customers though because there were cobwebs inside (could be someone lazy to clean up or they want the ambience with cobwebs). Their beer selection ain't bad but I ordered a horchata. It's sweet and cinnamon-y!

Downside is that they also don't accept credit cards. So if you're treating a bigger group, this may not be the best place to do it.
