Last month me and my friends decided to go to hidden valley in laguna. I liked the place if you love nature tripping this the place to be. They have hiden pool ,soda pool, hidden falls and a lot more they have cottage too. Each one of us paid php.2, 200 for a day tour only. They have buffet lunch and merienda and their chef is from vikings. If you want an overnight stay their accomodation is php. 30,000 for six pax everything is included the cottege breakfast lunch and merienda your not going to think of anything. Just go there and enjoy!

I always thirst for adventures, I am a lover of FIRST TIME.  So when I learned about the newly open wave pool in Pinamungajan, I immediately putted it on my bucket list. It's Cebu's first wave pool, and it would be my first time to experience swimming on a wavy pool. Fortunately, my officemate who lives in Lutopan, invited us to have an outing there, and because many of us we're curios and interested, we had our first taste of summer at Hidden Valley Mountain Resort.

Hidden Valley Mountain Resort is located in the western side of Cebu, a paradise lies in the mountainous barangay of Lamac, Pinamungajan, facing the Tañon Strait and Negros Island.. Which is about 2 hours Van transportation from the city. Own and managed by Lamac Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LMPC), an established Cooperative in Pinamungajan, Cebu.

I just saw one of God's beautiful creation in Laguna. I have lots of beautiful pictures taken here at Hidden valley resort. So I'll just post this one first taken at Hidden Falls 9786️ (Uhhh.. Di ako unabot sa falls kasi super slippery ng rocks and malakas flow ng water from falls and malalim!) 128561 It was my very first time to see a falls! (What a loser 128530) I'm so afraid to do this kind of activity because I'm so afraid to see snakes around the forest!!! 128013 and I'm also afraid of heights and I don't know how to swim!!! 128561 And yes sobrang sakit ng legs ko ngayon dahil medyo mahaba ang lakad, pababa and madulas 128561 Anyway! The long walk with hot weather with slippery rocks was all worth it! 128099128099128099

For the day tour package:
2,200php per head (Includes buffet lunch, PM snack and use of resort facilities)
500php for the locker (Refundable)

It was 5yrs ago when i last visited this place. A nice place to relax from the hectic/ busy life in manila. As in they have weak signal kailangan lumabas ng room para makatawag. I just hope they have maintained the place and improved the facilities.

We got invited over for a family reunion lunch at Hidden Valley, which is always great since it's far away from the hustle and bustle of normal city life, and it's an opportunity to reconnect with nature. The only problem getting there is that the signs pointing to the place are a little hard to see, so it's very easy to overshoot. If you're like us, you could end up all the way in Quezon (13km away 128560).

Our lunch was buffet style and consisted of Filipino cuisine. My favorite was the grilled catfish because it was big, juicy and full of flavor! This was also the first time I tried snails! Apparently you have to forcefully suck them out of their tiny shells.

Anyway, after lunch, my sister and I explored the place (I didn't swim because I was still coughing, and wanted to recover in time for my trip abroad). There are three main pools powered by natural springs throughout the resort. The warm pool is the first one you'll see, and has the greatest capacity. Pretty self-explanatory. The soda pools are a little further in, and are a mix of both warm and cool springs. I also learned that it's supposedly safe to drink the water here since it's pure and comes from the mountain. The furthest pool, which requires quite a bit of exploring, is the Lover's Pool. It's hidden away deep in the resort, and is a cold pool, most likely to encourage couples to... Warm each other up128540. There are also quite a number of large trees here. These trees are the type you would need more than a couple of people for to cover its circumference.

Overall, it's a beautiful place, and I enjoyed the great food and nature explorations. I hope to be able to come back soon! 128522

Adam and Eve is so Old Testament. If you want to experience nature at its finest, without having to thing about or even prepare for anything, just grab your swimsuits and head south to Alaminos, Laguna and look for the Hidden Valley. About 1.5 - 2 hour drive from Quezon City.

It boasts of three natural springs enhanced to accommodate swimmers and waders alike. My personal favorite is the jacuzzi with water flowing directly from Mt. Makiling. And since the water flows from springs of the mountain, it is non-chlorinated and lukewarm.

Apart from the three springs, another spring is located deeper into the forest, about 10-15 minute hike. The resort did not 'enhance' this spring and swimming is not allowed to preserve its natural state. Picture-taking is allowed though.

At 1800 per head, this includes entrance fee, welcome drinks, a cottage, and buffet lunch and afternoon snacks. Overnight accommodations are available.

A bit pricey for a day trip but worth it if you are looking for a quick getaway from the city.

A close friend's family owns the resort. And we've been going back since we were in high school. Talk about feeling old 128532 Huhu

It's just a 2 hour-ish drive from QC headed down south in Alaminos, Laguna. Quite frankly, it's really one of my favorite escapes without taking a plane. Let's face it, there's VERY little to really do in Manila...

The resort is really very beautiful. Concrete paths leading althroughout. The cottages and gazebos look look Japanese inspired to me, so that's SUGOI! Lots of flowing pools (most enjoyable thing to do) with the kind of gravel that feel like they exfoliate your feet. Disclaimer: I don't really know anything about spa stuff hihi. If you're a couple of lovebirds looking to have some privacy try to look out for the Lover's Pool in the shape of a heart 10084 #AlamNa

If you're more adventurous, head out and search for the Hidden Falls. Makes for nice pictures 128247128249127909

Food is plentiful yet just decent by my standards. 4 square meals if you're staying the night and 2 if you daytrip. You even get an acoustic serenade while you chow down. 128568

It's daytripable but I recommend staying at least overnight. Shout out to my bud Noel for bringing me to this slice of hidden paradise in Luzon!

Being just a quick 2 hour drive from Manila, I can't think of any place better for a quick day trip/overnight spot close to Manila. Beaches be overrated yo!

Buffet meals (2 for a day trip, 4 for overnight), really nice rooms, and 4 natural spring water pool areas (that's just one of them in the pic!) are guaranteed to wash away any stress for sure.

The best part -- being in a hidden valley, you don't have to worry at all about getting roasted under the sun. Expect a cool mountain breeze and shade from the valley's canopy of trees any time of the day! A quick trek to the hidden falls is a must for all first-timers.

If the world did end today, I'm glad I would've kicked the bucket poolside here in Laguna's hidden gem.
