China palace remains to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants if not my favorite 128522 the summer palace is being renovated so we had lunch at the winter palace downstairs. Though I prefer the interiors upstairs, the views here were also quite nice.
We ordered the set lauriat meal which included 3 kinds of siomai and dumplings, fried chicken, fried rice, crab and corn soup, crystal shrimp, sweet and sour ribs, garlic fish sole, buchi and mango sago.
I just love the food here cos it tastes so 'clean', you know talaga na there's no MSG or preservatives. I usually feel heady after eating at some Chinese restos 128517 #alamna
Service is great although I would've preferred taller water glasses, had to have my water refilled a bunch of times 128513
Definitely worth a try if you're in highlands 128077🏼

Can get pretty busy during holidays and Sundays, so expect to not get that much attention. Not exactly good for people like me who are KSP. Nevertheless, food is quite good. The quality and taste never disappoints.

Had lunch here last sunday to spend our consumable amount for members.

Food is great. Service is quite meh!
Price is not that reasonable.

Among the dishes we ordered, these were outstanding!:
Scallop rice -- lasang usok, in a very good way
Spareribs in sweet sauce -- tender!
Buchi -- dense, delightful red bean paste!128077

Other dishes were usual in good Chinese restaurants in Manila. And delicious as well.

I do commend their service and attentiveness to the customer's needs.

Miele Guide awardee, they truly deserve it.

If only to dine here repeatedly, I wish we were members of Tagaytay Highlands, not just endorsed guests last weekend.;)

Great as all Chinese food must be but too pricey for something that's not outstanding

I'm surprised to find zero reviews about this place or my searching powers are nil.

I am reviewing this restaurant as somebody who has been eating here on and off for years and every weekend the last 2 months ( I know- sad )

Suffice to say I've chowed down here way too often, sometimes by choice other times because there is no way I'm ever eating again at the Highlands Steakhouse.

Good enough Chinese food is the basic review. Good enough, consistent enough and if they know you well - quite accommodating staff.

The dimsum is ok. Siomai is good but stay away from the crispy prawn salad things- way too much wonton wrapper.

Beef choices are cooked well, along with the veg offerings.

Anything that has braised eggplant is a winner here. Skip the fried rice and go straight for the crispy noodles with seafood.

Barbecue offerings are good. We did try the suckling pig once but not sure if I'll do it again.

Unsure if I should be more effusive in my review because they have saved my hungry ass often enough BUT as my lola used to say Honesty is the best policy.

Gets quite full on weekends.
Still a fan. Still a part of the captive audience.
