Stayed at Casa Vallejo which is where Hill Station is also located so this became our staple breakfast and some lunch place when we went last month.

Food here is remarkable. Everything is just distinctively good. We tried their lengua and it is delicious! Soft and tender and not malansa. The sauce is also tasty, not too strong and overwhelming. Their lechon bagnet is also a must try! Crunchy and flavorful. For breakfast, tried their eggs ben and their french toast with mango and both are delectable. 128523128077🏻

What is more interesting about this place is the ambiance. Big windows, cold weather, fast service, friendly staffs, everything here will make you want to stay here for good. 128540

It was a buffet for Father's day special. It was 750-800 per person. And If I'd be comparing it to other buffet restaurant in terms of quantity, the meals prepared in Hillstation was quite few. But in terms of the awesomeness of food? Yes it was really foodgasmic!

On the table:
Creamy carbonara
Home smoked boneless bangus
Baguio longanisa
Farmer's farm
Chorizo
Mussels
Eggs
Breaded seafood
Muffins

And all the dads we're given a token (a flashlight). Overall it was nice :)

A Baguio classic, this American-inspired restaurant along the city's hills never fails to impress locals and visitors alike. Whether it is comfort food or more upscale fine-dining choices that one may crave, it is undeniable that this place has (almost) everything to offer. This, coupled with the cool ambience (sans the pollution), makes it an idyllic place to experience one of Baguio's culinary treasures.

First time I get to roam around freely in Baguio. It was a wonderful experience. The sight, the mood, everything. Plus they do have a lot of must visit restaurants there. For one, Hill Station is a one fine dining every tourist wants to try and surely it is in the A list restaurants there. And so we digged in. 128515

Upon entering, you can see how classy and elegant the interior is, more of an ancestral type of mansion where you imagine gatherings of families every Holidays. Something like that. After settling seats, we were served a basket of complimentary bread and dip, one saucer is filled with olive oil and the other one was with dukkah (an Egyptian side dish made from herbs, spices and nuts).

We ordered:

✔ Bruschetta
-a medley of mushrooms, white wine and olive oil on melba toast

✔ Spinach and mushroom ravioli
-on a bed of pumpkin puree and topped with 'Malagos' bleu cheese sauce. A hearty meal. 128077

✔ Forgot the other recipe we ordered but it was on special that month. It was a peppered roasted half chicken with gravy.

I would recommend this place for a fancy dinner date with your loved one. Very cozy ambiance you'll surely love. Not to forget the varieties of great recipe choices. It's quite costly but a sure quality taste. Definitely on top of the hill. 128077

Fantastic, as always. It was a holistically amazing, rejuvenating experience -- think enjoying a plate of country breakfast (got their maple-flavored sausages) and a cup of coffee while watching the rain at 7:30 am. The best.

Rated as one of the best restaurants in Baguio, the country and in Asia, Hill Station certainly lives up to the awards and recognition it has received as well as the hype and buzz that constantly surrounds it. Some noteworthy dishes that we ordered were the Pork Sisig, Tenderloin Steak, Beef Salpicao, Paella, and their Apple Pie for dessert. My family and I had a great overall dinning experience and will certainly head back here on our next trip to Baguio.

So my friend were strolling down Baguio, killing time, waiting for the day to end for the next day we'll be off to Sagada (which I will write down a few blogs after this one too in another special edition). We decided to check out some good restaurants to eat at in Baguio.

So there goes my second trip to Choco-late de Batirol and after that I also invited her to Vizco's to taste the best strawberry shortcake. Then for dinner, we opted for Hill Station since all the good reviews in Looloo, TripAdvisor, rappler and other blogs match this as their common denominator.

We were so happy since Hill Station was just beside Mt. Cloud Bookshop where we really want to visit too. You guys should visit this very cute bookshop. Anyway, after the tiring day of strolling the streets of Baguio, we're now off to have a sumptuous dinner at Hill Station.

I was enamored by the Spanish vibe that the restaurant exudes. Drapes and big curtains accent the ceiling and the windows. Chandeliers illuminate the room and create a sexy dim lighting. It really makes the place very romantic, and since we were only two, we were escorted to a table for two near the window. It really looked like we're lovers!

We were in the mood to splurge since we were destressing after the end of our project so we kinda ordered their bestsellers good for the both of us. Of course, we finished everything up.

We ordered pumpkin soup, Moroccan Baby Back Ribs, and their Colombian Chicken Coriander since these are their bestsellers as they say. We asked the waiter to serve the rice separately from the viands so we can share since they serve the viand and rice in one plate only.

While waiting they served us sliced bread with hmm, I think that was hummus. Great appetizer. Pumpkin soup was not that thick in texture unlike the usual I always get in other restaurants but the taste of this one did not disappoint. You can feel the strong taste of the pumpkin and that grainy feel. Alas, the main course were served.

The Moroccan Baby Back Ribs was tasty but nothing special. For me it was too saucy. I kinda like my ribs juicy and not too saucy. The meat was tender though.

The Chicken Coriander was the bomb! It was infused with silantro but the herb flavors did not overpower the taste of the chicken. It was perfectly mixed with the meat that creates that burst of flavors once you taste it. This one is my personal favorite.

Of course, I heard the news about the Death by Chocolate dessert they have while my friend was excited to try the Ice Cream Palette. We ordered both desserts. The Ice Cream Palette offers 5 different flavors (dark chocolate, cinnamon, coffee, green tea and mango). In all fairness, these ice cream aren't your usual sorbet. My ranking from first to last: dark chocolate of course, coffee, green tea, mango and cinnamon. The cinnamon flavor tasted like herb for me. Not good as an ice cream. Death by Chocolate however completed my night. It was simply a molten chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice cream however the cake was super moist and the chocolate filling complements the vanilla ice cream very well. I wanted to hold on to something after I took my first bite! It was a perfect dessert to end your dinner.

I am so excited to go back and let my family try Hill Station's menu. We were so happy that night we got to spend the day splurging on some very good Baguio food.

Easily one of the best looking restaurants in Baguio City. 128524 Service was kind of off today, since it took about 45 mins for our food to be served (and we were just 3 haha and not many other customers), but I guess the quality of the food makes up for it. I had the roasted salmon with wilted spinach, mashed potatoes, and this fancy achara-like thing, and I really enjoyed it!! Super soft, buttery salmon with lots of flavor from the spices + sauce, and the mashed potatoes were spot on.

B r r r r r r. Hello Baguio!

Nice to be back after a year. It was just a short stay with my mom to meet my brother's girlfriend . I've been planning to go here since September but just had the time to go here yesterday due to busy work schedule in Manila. Basically, I just need to hand over the gift of my brother from Canada to his girlfriend here.

After my food trip here last year, a friend recommended Hill Station and was told to try their Death by Chocolate. So, I decided to have our lunch here and ordered the ff:

Calamares and Garden Salad - It was ok. Nothing special.

Moroccan Baby Back Ribs - It's good! My mom loved it. She was able to finished the whole plate. I still prefer less herbs on it tho.

Seafood Carbonaro. I wasn't a fan of seafood on pasta but this dish nailed it. It's creamy and simply delicious. It's just weird seeing tomatoes on the dish.

Death by Chocolate. I was expecting a cake but it's a molten lava cake minus the cake. I can't explain but it's a chocolate mixture topped with a Vanilla ice cream. Not too sweet, just perfect!

Ice Cream Pallete. It's my fave. 5 flavors in one plate. Dark Chocolate, Green Tea, Coffee, Vanilla and Caramel i think.

The place was a breathe of fresh air. It's cozy and realaxing. Staff were good. The price was a bit expensive.

6 stars!!!!! Beyond expectations, MUST MUST MUST try when you're in Baguio. Place was so nice, cozy and kinda romantic. Perfect for dates!

We tried:

128025 Seafood Carbonara
Light yet creamy sauce, perfectly cooked aldente noodles with shrimp, muscles and squid (sooooo good I swear)

127851Death by Chocolate
I'm gonna miss this!!!! Oooozing chocolate underneath the vanilla ice cream, wasn't too sweet and you won't get tired eating it. Yum yum yum!!!

127837 Pesto with Salmon
I love Pesto. I love Salmon. Therefore, I love this dish!!!! (But still, seafood carbonara was the best)

127846 Last but definitely not the least, this beautiful Ice Cream Palette. Home made ice cream is love! Rich, creamy and flavorful. Green tea was my fave!

Am I coming back??? OOOHHH YES
