We recently went to Bohol and this was one of the highlights of my trip. It was my second time swimming in a cave.

The tourist guides are funny. They are very accomodating and would even take pictures of you. You can leave you phones and cameras to them without worries. They will take pictures of you. 128522 They are volunteers so you might have to give a tip, but they deserve it.

I think it's 125php if you are going to take a dip while 50php for visits only.

The water is a combination of Fresh, spring and salt according to the guide, it really really cold that time we went for a dip. A huge tree's root was removed which led to the discovery of the place around 1600s. It was caled Hinagdanan because a hole on top of the cave previously has a wood ladder so they can go down as it was their source of water.

The cabe akso has writings on its rock walls, which is cool! It brings back the ancient times. 128522

You can get there via trycicle for 200php. Less than 30 mins ride from Alona; more than an hour if from Tagbilaran.

The cave is beautiful but I won't forget the energetic volunteer guide. Super kulit, he almost drained my energy. Haha But he really took care of my senior mom in climbing down the slippery steps.

Very memorable experience. The cave is so beautiful and ethereal. Water is clear. Need to watch my step because it's slippery.

How could You forget this visit when you have a crazy funny tour guide who's baptising in different names hahaha lols.. but to the cave you'll be really amaze., first you'll just see a dark area but when you take a picture you'll see amazing images..( make sure your camera have a flash, because it's useless when it doesn't have like mine na kailangan ko pa sumabay magpic sa may cam na may flash..) and paintings in the wall..scary nga lng Lalo na pag umuulan dahil madulas..you need to watch carefully every step you take..at malinis din yung cave halatang highly maintained tlga ..di ma masyado kita yung damage nung lumindol..mura lng nmn yung entrance fee I heard about 100 pesos lang..I'm not much sure kasi it's part if our tour package..

One of the photo i'll show is yung nakuhanan nung sumabay ako sa cam na may flash..

One of the best tour we had in Bohol. It took the tour inside the cave for around 15-20 minutes. Our tour guide, Kuya Ruel (if I'm not mistaken), did great in taking our pictures. It was fun posing as directed by Kuya Ruel. Sonrang galing tlga! Haha 128540

Same as other caves, nothing extraordinary. It even has a stairs, compared to other caves that you need to find your way down that is why called Hinagdanan Cave. 128513

By the way, we have a funny, full of sense humor and camera expert tour guide. Maybe that what made me this rate OK. 128077
