One of the reasons to visit the Historic Camalig Restaurant is the establishment itself. The restaurant is housed in a 150-year old ancestral grain depot built in the mid 1800s during the Spanish Colonial era.

For a pizza its really something new for me, i tried the salted egg w/ longanisa its a wierd combination but it taste good. I just didnt like the crust i prefer a thinner one. The place is historic so u better visit it urself so ul know why.

I was hoping for a more traditional menu but it turns out that this Camalig is actually the house of "Armando's Pizza" and the star of their menu is, we'll, pizza!
They have a unique pizza called Doy's Kapampangan which has longganisa, salted egg (ebun buru) some onion and pickle relish. We also tried Armando's Beat (everything in it) and it's like a local version of a Greenwich special.

Not bad, not bad at all.

Nothing special. Love the historic feel & ambiance. Too bad for us, hubby & i went there for our anniversary, thought we would spend our dinner with quite, cozy and uncrowded place. T'was not crowded but college students made it their 'tambayan & inuman'. But atleast we got to discover something new for our palates. I'm a Capampangan yet haven't really explored my loving province.

Love the rustic and historic restaurant. It really gives you a glimpse of how it was during the Spanish occupation. Their specialty are the pizza dishes. The one with sausage and duck egg is awesome. But it's nothing out of the world. Quite pricey as well the pizza ranges from 300-400 pesos so parang shakey's lang. You really just go there for the ambiance and the historic fanfare. But the pizza was okay lang :)
