Tried their buffet last year and since I was still pescatarian at that time I wasn't able to enjoy any of their non seafood offerings ;( quality wise, not really gonna recommend this place but they have a new branch at Tiendesitas so maybe they improved already and the experience will be much better. During our dinner here, the boys feasted on the meat (the only near available) it looked and smelled really good and I bet Ho Galbi would've gotten "lugi" that night if all of their customers were like my friends LOL

Will I try it again? If I'm paying for it, then no. Hehe

Korean food is 128525.

Although, I preferred this branch more when it was still posukjong. It lost a bit of its flair when it became hogalbi. :( but nonetheless, I still love their food.

Their grilled meat + jap chae is good. The Korean beef stew was awesome!

And love the fact that Korean cuisine comes with unlimited side dishes. Ito pa Lang solve na e. Haha 128514

PS: boo yeah for the BIBIM batch. 128077128077127882127882

No photo sorrry.

This branch is bigger and cheaper (by 200) compared to the Tiendesitas branch. U grill ur own meat (u couldn't in Tiendesitas, they will grill it in the kitchen for u), garden setting and they have a karaoke too. Price is 499 eat all you can, dinner (Tiendesitas price 699). Staff were accommodating and there are only a few people, actually we owned the place that night, haha!

Everything is ok i just didn't like the bibimbap, i prefer the ones served on a claypot.

There were small cockroaches walking around the water dispenser and on our table. Not worth 499, not even close.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Unless you enjoy small cockroaches crawling around the table as you eat.

Food selection was disappointing, for a buffet. The food was mostly cold too. Such a lousy experience :( :( :( What a waste of P499.

Some of their entrees were just okay, like the beef and the sweet and sour fish. The sushi wasn't good though, and I wasn't able to eat much of the grilled meat because it took so long for the waiters to serve it to us.

The service was horrible. Things weren't getting replenished and it took 20 minutes just to catch the attention of a waiter. We originally thought that the lunch buffet was P299 but when we were given the bill we found out it was P499 because it was a holiday. They really should have made it clear to us because on the signage it did not specify what the prices were on holidays. Will definitely not be returning here. 128078

I'm torn. I'm sorry Ho Galbi. But your super delicious beef strips and other quality items will have to settle for a 1-star rating from me!128528

Tried the lunch buffet. Php499 (since it was a holiday) for unlimited korean meat and other noteworthy items such as the breaded chicken fillet and sweet and sour pork. It was very very good! Quality meat right here.

SERVICE SUCKED. Not sure if they really have poor service in general or it was just the amount of people dining in (never an excuse tho). Our first plate of grilled meat came after just a couple of minutes but the next one came after 15 minutes then the third one never came. The waiters seemed so lost. A few other tables were also complaining about the mess up. Plates were being served to the wrong tables. Plus, the other cooked items were never refilled like the tempura and the rice.

Talked to the person in charge and they said that they lacked personnel because they came from an outing the day before and it was a holiday so some of their staff weren't able to go to work. Kinda stupid if you ask me.

Not sure when or if I'm coming back here again. Probably when there are no people. Probably.

Grilled goodness!

Not a fan of Korean food but this is just fine. Eat all you can for 499 and you get served meat, meat, meat! Btw they have shrimp and squid too. Service is great and they serve live lounge music at night. Not bad.

Might come back...

Korean buffet FTW! May not be the best Korean resto out there but Php299 only for their weekday lunch buffet? Sobrang sulit!

For the price of 499 pesos unlimited Korean barbecue, it's good and worth every single peso. The raw selections for bbq included beef short ribs, chuck, rib fingers, pork, seafood and vegetables. Apart from this, there were others dishes like assorted sushis, chap chae, kimchi, etc. Ambiance is also good -- like your away from Manila!

I don't know if you've heard of a korean bbq place in makati (somewhere between makati ave. and p. burgos) in a building called "seoul condo". THAT restaurant before the management change will be what i consider the best korean bbq restaurant in the philippines so i can't help but see how Ho Galbi compares.

They have an eat-all-you-can promo for around 499 per head and while the amount of beef and pork you can eat is simply glutonny personified, i can't say the same thing about the side dishes.

I'm used to enjoying korean bbq the way it should be enjoyed. Meat wrapped in vegetation with sidings stuffed inside.

Ho Galbi doesn't offer enough vegetables for me to wrap my meal in. They don't have radish slices, beans, ying yip, spicy onion salad, etc etc. it really is more of an all-you-can-eat meat festival.

For someone who'd like to enjoy korean bbq, i can't give this one a high rating. For the gourmands out there though, eat your heart out at Ho Galbi.

Quality of meat for the price is excellent. If you are not much of meat lover, it's not your place. Some selected seafood is good, too. Other food on the table was disappointing, though. Staff were kind enough but if I were to suggest, get rid of the singer. Let us just enjoy the food and soju.
