it's my first time to try an authentic bingsu. i'll give them 3 stars since it was a so-so experience for me.

we tried mango bingsu and macaron bingsu. i like the sweetness of mango cubes topped all over the mango bingsu. macaron bingsu was so delightful to the eyes. the colorful macarons will make your mouth water and its yummy too!

the place is cozy. i like that they're playing korean music videos that add up that kpop vibe.

while they have few waiters, they found a solution by putting a self service water station. i find that resourceful.

if you're looking for a dessert during a hot and humid day, try eating bingsu! it's very refreshing plus you'll have these food porn photos with you.

Actually we just made a slquicl dropoff for a restroom call, then suddenly we had this craving for dessert...I've seen the mini Bonifacio Stopover map before and was curious to try some Korean Bingsu 128522128522128518

Place is quite spacious and bright, and the staff is quite attentive in giving their "anneonghaseyo" greetings....

So I dashed my way to the menu guide and saw this colorful mango-cheesecake bingsu to give it a try 12852210084128077🏻127881

Fortunately the mangoes were on season, so it went well with the finely shaved ice and the almonds...the cheesecake is not your typical creamy-rich type but hence, it will do :)

You have an option whether the topmost part of your bingsu is whipped cream or ice cream....im biased as a fan to have chisen vanilla 128522128522128522 Quite amusing when eating Bingsu, even if you create sinkholes under it the whole Bingsu doesn't topple down 128540128522

I love the water station, there's plain water, lemon water and this clay jar containing korean tea.... I wasn't quite sure with their restroom though it was so bright you wouldn't be comfy enough to stay long hehehe128518128540128522

Its crazy that I'm finding myself chasing down mango bingsu's after reading Spot.ph's Top 10 list for one of my favorite desserts. And mango bingsu isn't even usually my top choice of bingsu!

Anyway, Hobing's take is very simple. On the surface its just diced mango cubes on top of snow ice and some mango syrup. But the surprise comes from the added mango placed underneath the ice. Aha! Di pala sila nagitipid sa mango! The mango itself was sweet so I'd give this one a sweet 4 stars!

A macaron bingsu! Now why didn't anyone do this sooner! This is a good case of the whole being greater than the some of its parts. The macarons don't have to be top notch. Same with the bingsu. But when put together, what a treat! That snow ice, those macarons, those cheesecake bits...

This was very appealing both visually and to the sweet tooth in me. Let this also be a warning, the operative words being 'sweet tooth'. If you don't have a sweet tooth mauumay ka haha.

Two consecutive presentations with clients took a toll on yours truly and i am in dire need of a pick-me-up.

I settled on some shaved ice. The plan was to get my usual but i saw a new item on the menu.....Tadah! Ube Cheese Bingsu.

As awesome as it sounds but this is a complete letdown in the taste department. Picture this, milk infused shaved ice, four pieces of cheesecake cubes, ube cake crumbs and a scoop of ube ice cream.

The cake crumbs made the texture of the bingsu odd and the fact that they used a tasteless cake added insult to injury. The cheesecake didnt do any good as i find the taste a lil iffy. The only good thing about this dessert is the ube ice cream.

Tsk tsk.

Not sure whether Hobing Korean Dessert Cafè being near my workplace is a bad thing or a good thing. Guess it's bad for my wallet and my diet? But it's definitely good for my soul and my IG! 128516

Say hello to their newest offering, Macaron Bingsu! This is legit foodporn level 99999999999! Never heard or seen this kind of dessert before, it's totally unique!

Per their usual, their bingsu (finely shaved ice with milk) will always be amazing. And adding macarons to the mix is definitely something original, and yummers! 128522 It was not too sweet and just right, though the macarons are just okay. I'd have to say it's worth a try! If you find yourself somewhere near Hobing, don't hesitate to give this Macaron Bingsu a chance! 128522

You know I love bingsu. And macarons. And macaron bingsu. Whut? Yeah, Hobing has a new baby.

Macaron Bingsu. Still our favorite finely shaved ice with milk and ice cream on top, but now transformed to be more beautiful and instaworthy. Who would have thought that macarons could go so well with this dessert? I just can't. The macarons that went with this bowl were not so bad, I tell you. The staff didn't tell us the flavors of the macarons but I can taste that there were pistachio, matcha green tea, lemon, cheese, and chocolate.

Asking if it's sweet? Yes. But is it good? Yes. Not sure why, but we were able to consume the whole bowl even it has no distinct flavor as their strawberry or mango bingsu.

It's good that the servers were really attentive during his visit. And did I mention that the servers have mastered the Korean accent already? I initially thought that the one who greeted me upon entering the store was a Korean, but hey nag Tagalog after. So cool!

P.S. They have a combo that if you buy a toast with any of their bingsu bowls, you get 30php discount. Yup, I bought one - the cheese with rice cake toast. 128069

FINALLY! I've tried Ho Bing. Ever since this snow dessert craze came in The Philippines, a lot of stores have opened with the same concept to the point that I don't know anymore where would I go to just to have a taste of this Korean Dessert in my mouth! 128523

After a heavy dinner at Sunnies Cafe yesterday, my friends and I were looking for a good place to have dessert and luckily I saw the Ho Bing sign from above. As if the heavens answered my prayers. Haha! It's located on the third level of Bonifacio Stop Over which is a place full of other restaurants and fast food chains that caters to employees nearby.

Good thing they are still open at 10pm when we arrived and we ordered their Strawberry Bingsu in Large Size priced at P330. They also sell other Korean desserts and ice cream but of course this one is the Highlight of Ho Bing.
They let me choose which toping to choose either Ice Cream or Whipped Cream. I guess most of you would choose Ice Cream but i'm just a huge fan of whipped cream so I chose that one!

OMG. When it was delivered to our table, it was just SO BEAUTIFUL. Too pretty to eat. 128525
The quality and the size of the strawberries they served was SUPERB. It's obviously high quality just like the strawberries on street markets in Korea! They added a little strawberry syrup on top and on the shaved ice. I like how the crushed iced with milk were compact and enjoyable to eat. It perfectly blends well with the citrus flavor of the strawberries! Oh I just love it!!!
I will definitely comeback to try other flavors. Eyeing on the chocolate bing su!

PS. I just love how they even play Korean Dramas inside the store which makes me nostalgic about my recent Korea trip. Oh how I miss Korea. Thanks to Ho Bing for making me feel like i'm in Korea even just for a few hours 128523

After our oh so yummy and filling Vietnamese slash Thai lunch, we went straight here for dessert. We're having Korean, this time. Asian tour? 128517

We decided to just try and share an order of the MANGO BINGSU. 128155127819

First time trying the bingsu here and I enjoyed it. The milk/ice wasn't super overly oa sweet. But the mangoes were sweet. The combination was just right. Just enough to appreciate the "milkiness" and the sweetness of the mangoes! 9786️ The milk slash condensed-like syrup was also good and if you like your bingsu sweeter, you may want to add a lot of that syrup. 128077🏼

Looking forward to trying the other flavors especially the Matcha! 128154

After eatig ramen, churros, now this. Its shaved ice with flavorings. Not a big fan of strawberry but somehow it's delicious with the raspberry or is that blueberry. None of us really touched the bread thats in it. It doesnt taste so good. Also the place is too cold, we bolted out the moment we finished it.

I remember we (Cindy S, Edison A, I) were one of the few customers of Hobing Snow Dessert Cafe in BGC during their opening week early this year. Now that it's so famous, I'm happy that the quality of what they're serving was not sacrificed.

The cafe was so packed during this visit. I politely asked the servers for a table for four, but none was available. My friends and I waited for a couple of minutes, and finally a table for two. The servers just added chairs for us to accommodate. Hey, but I'm not complaining. 9996🏻️

We ordered their best-selling Mango Cheese Bingsu and one of their newest, Choco-Cookie Bingsu. The Mango Cheese Bingsu was delicious. The mango bits were plenty and the cheesecake cubes were flavorful. Surprisingly, the Choco-Cookie Bingsu was good as well. It has a lot of cookie bits! Maybe I'll order this again next time.

P.S. Their regular serving is good for two already.

Choco Brownies (4/5)
Shaved iced chocolate w brownies, nuts, whipped cream and cookie crumbs, so addicting!!!!! Plus the chocolate based isn't sweet that is why you can't stop eating it 128586

Caramel Coffee (5/5)
I love this!!!!! It has almonds, caramel, crunchy oats, coffee jelly and vanilla ice cream. I'm not a fan of caramel flavored dessert but I swear this is one of the best bingsu I've had. Must try 128525

Am I coming back? Yes!!!! I'm excited to try other different flavors.
