After our oh so yummy and filling Vietnamese slash Thai lunch, we went straight here for dessert. We're having Korean, this time. Asian tour? 128517

We decided to just try and share an order of the MANGO BINGSU. 128155127819

First time trying the bingsu here and I enjoyed it. The milk/ice wasn't super overly oa sweet. But the mangoes were sweet. The combination was just right. Just enough to appreciate the "milkiness" and the sweetness of the mangoes! 9786️ The milk slash condensed-like syrup was also good and if you like your bingsu sweeter, you may want to add a lot of that syrup. 128077🏼

Looking forward to trying the other flavors especially the Matcha! 128154

First time to try Hobing and We were so amazed with the texture and taste of it. At first we dont want to ruin the nice presentation but then again who cares 128514 Mango and banana were a good match. Would definitely go back to try their other flavors.

After eatig ramen, churros, now this. Its shaved ice with flavorings. Not a big fan of strawberry but somehow it's delicious with the raspberry or is that blueberry. None of us really touched the bread thats in it. It doesnt taste so good. Also the place is too cold, we bolted out the moment we finished it.

I remember we (Cindy S, Edison A, I) were one of the few customers of Hobing Snow Dessert Cafe in BGC during their opening week early this year. Now that it's so famous, I'm happy that the quality of what they're serving was not sacrificed.

The cafe was so packed during this visit. I politely asked the servers for a table for four, but none was available. My friends and I waited for a couple of minutes, and finally a table for two. The servers just added chairs for us to accommodate. Hey, but I'm not complaining. 9996🏻️

We ordered their best-selling Mango Cheese Bingsu and one of their newest, Choco-Cookie Bingsu. The Mango Cheese Bingsu was delicious. The mango bits were plenty and the cheesecake cubes were flavorful. Surprisingly, the Choco-Cookie Bingsu was good as well. It has a lot of cookie bits! Maybe I'll order this again next time.

P.S. Their regular serving is good for two already.

Choco Brownies (4/5)
Shaved iced chocolate w brownies, nuts, whipped cream and cookie crumbs, so addicting!!!!! Plus the chocolate based isn't sweet that is why you can't stop eating it 128586

Caramel Coffee (5/5)
I love this!!!!! It has almonds, caramel, crunchy oats, coffee jelly and vanilla ice cream. I'm not a fan of caramel flavored dessert but I swear this is one of the best bingsu I've had. Must try 128525

Am I coming back? Yes!!!! I'm excited to try other different flavors.

Although their desserts are really good the service is slow...i pity the onky 2 two servers running around the area. It took more than 20 mins before my order was served. O hope they could add more crew to help out in the kitchen and on ground specially during peak days

I am definitely back again at Hobing. I live nearby so yes it's my go-to place whenever i crave for bingsu. My mom and I actually made friends with the korean couple who owns it, such lovely people.

This place is always packed during lunch and dinner. So i usually go in the middle of the day. As always, delicious bingsu's. They do have two new flavors, so i'll be going back for those. In the picture is their berry berry cheese bingsu. Yum!!!

Been in hiatus from reviews as I was too busy with work, but nevertheless I still take pictures to capture my gastronomic adventures.

Over the weekend (last week) after a filling FamBam dindin we decided to have dessert at Hobing. As my mother is a Koreanovela fanatic (she always tunes in at KBS, by the way 128513) we decided to bring her here!

We got the following:

127860 Chocolate Brownie Bingsu - 127775127775127775127775 chocolate lovers would definitely enjoy this yummy icy treat128525128525128525. Not only is the ice covered in chocolate milk but its loaded with chewy brownie bits at a milo like chocolate topping!

127860 Strawberry Bingsu - 127775127775127775127775 this is a very refreshing treat! 128523128523 presentation alone is appealing. I 128156 how the fresh strawberries are sliced and arranged. If there is strawberry taho in Baguio, I guess this is the Strawberry Halo-Halo in Korea 128521. I like that it's milky and not too sweet as I want to savor the tartness of the fresh 127827.

Just a 128221, what's good about this dessert is that they don't put sugar syrup. You can adjust the sweetness by adding sweetened milk which is available at the condiments area.

So I've been to Hobing twice this week but at 2 different branches. I'd have to say I prefer this branch in Bonifacio Stopover much better. Its more spacious and you can talk more easily without overhearing the juicy conversations of the people next to you. We ordered the large strawberry yogurt ccino drink. It was so good and made with fresh strawberries. But between the 2 of us we couldn't finish it. Its so good but its too much of a good thing. as I've mentioned, I'll be back... In a few days!

Matcha matcha matcha. This is Hobing's newest offering, only available in their Bonifacio Stopover branch. This is unfair for people near their other branches, tbh! 128566 I got to visit their Lucky Chinatown branch before...

Clarissa P and I shared one matcha bingsu, regular size, which cost 185 pesos. Our order arrived after around 10 minutes, quite fast for a bingsu preparation. 128077🏻

This is the usual milk shaved ice, only that this has a good serving of matcha powder giving the green color as expected... also with adzuki, injeolmi, and thin cut almonds. It's an automatic five star for me! I loved it, not only because it's matcha, but because it was a good mix. A bit more matcha taste by adding more powder or maybe making the shaved ice matcha milk may be interesting. Not too strong matcha taste but the bitter taste was there. 128077🏻

Please Hobing people, matcha is a necessity. Make this available in all branches. 128521128521

First time to try bingsu and this one did not disappoint! Hobing offers a wide variety of flavors. Price ranges from 160-300 depending on flavor and size.

Matcha Bingsu?!? YES PLEASE!!!

Tried the Matcha Bingsu in Hobing yesterday before going to Mango Tree. Roy T and I got a regular order and shared it with the group. At 185Php, it's cheaper than Ice Flower's!

The bowl of finely shaved ice was covered with a good amount of Matcha powder that had the right bitterness and matcha kick. It's then topped with a generous heaping of red beans, some injeolmi cubes and almond slivers. It was really good! Not too sweet, not too milky! I'll definitely go back to get one order just for me LOL

Best Matcha Bingsu, yet!

I am one step away from Matcha Nirvana.  Thanks to Hobing!  Matcha Bingsu anyone?  Yes,  please.

Albeit my itchy throat and runny nose,  i decided a lil shaved ice will not do any harm and i figured that matcha has antioxidants.   This is me trying to rationalize my own bias.  I failed you,  David McRaney!

Matcha Bingsu.  Milk infused finely shaved ice generously covered with my favorite green substance.  Red beans,  shaved almonds and injeolmi!  Isn't she lovely???  The regular size is priced at php 185 and can be shared by two people.  Not the case for me as this is matcha,  i dont like to share.  This would've been 100x better if the shaved ice is infused with a matcha x milk combination.  But i am completely satisfied with my green hued bingsu,  the red beans is sweet and velvety.  The injeolmi is chewy and there are generous servings of shaved almonds even on the bottom of the bowl.

This is a first of my many visits.

I went to HOBING Korean Dessert Cafe at BGC Stop-over after I avail the Happy Hour Promo of Cocina Peruvia. 128588🏼128031 I tried the New Matcha Bingsu of Hobing. It's the best taste of Matcha topped with Red Beans, Chewy Rice Cakes, Almonds and Cashew Nuts for Php185.00 (Regular Size) 127847

Matcha Bingsu - 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5

The place is very bright and looks spacious. I also love their LED Screen playing with Koreans Music Video.

The staff and crew of Hobing are very accommodating, polite and provides good service.

New work = new office = new food destinations to explore! Ahhhh... my never ending bucket list. 128522 Being a hop, skip, and step away from Bonifacio Stopover gave me the chance to actually explore the place for the first time. And to my delight... a bingsu cafe! I've heard of Hobing before and the good thing is i'm glad there's a decent bingsu cafe nearby.

And guess what, they've just launched their matcha bingsu! Finally! Overall i'm satisfied with what i've tried so far - the ice was white and soft as snow ala snow white... the mango cheese bingsu had sweet mangoes, the berry cheese was sweet and tangy/sour, and the matcha bingsu was, well, matcha-rific?

I just wish they had something that stood out from the other bingsu places, as their flavors and the preparation are all pretty standard. Something that would entice people to find a Hobing branch and not just hit it up because its the nearest. But thats not taking anything away from how good the bingsu is in this branch. 128522

Me and my friend was craving for something sweet after devouring a serving of savoury sigsig, rice and fries from Rue Bourbon. He asked if I wanted to try Hobing which is a Bingsu place and I immediately said yes since I haven't tried it yet.

We had Mango Cheese Bingsu (regular) for us to share. I was surprised with the taste since I was expecting it would be sweet like halo halo lol but it wasn't. It wasn't as sweet as it looked. It tasted almost like milk with ice. It had a generous amount of the sweetest mango, big chunks of slightly salty cheese and everything was topped with thinly sliced (?) almonds. So many flavors happening but suprisingly it tasted good. 10084️ They also had free tea and water for everyone who would dine in plus a spectacular view of BGC para sa mga mahilig mapag-isa at mag-soul search char 128514
