For our sister’s date night. We decided to go to Lucky Chinatown Mall and have their bingsu which is on my bucketlist of foods to try. My sister had already tried their strawberry flavor with her friend so we tried naman their choco brownies flavor worth 255.00 pesos for regular size lang

the cafe was hot when we first went inside but my sister insisted that they have a reason kung bakit mainit sa loob. (Learned na lalamig pakiramdam mo once makakain ka na ng bingsu so feeling ko sinadya talaga nila na hindi ganun kalamig sa loob). Music inside the cafe was of course kpop songs.

You can also have a photo shoot (term ko para sa mga mahilig sa picture like myself hehe) with giant teddy bears inside. There's a lot so you could just borrow one if you want or if you’re just lonely you can use them as your company but i think it would be more awkward lol.

I learned na hindi dapat hinahalo yung shaved ice with the toppings kasi hindi sya halo halo. But i find the shaved ice matabang if you will just eat it like that (kasi nga naman yelo lang sya) but the toppings can get very sweet kaya i think sakto lang naman kahit walang lasa yung yelo. So it's a yes for me. 128514

Annoong sayooo128514 as soon as we entered we felt like we're in a korean drama set up. My pa-Kpop songs and music video si mayor. Big serving that is good for sharing sila. Nothing special about it. Its just that you get to experience a korean dessert. My pa teddy bear din pala sila 10084️ #loolooDroneGiveaway

Always our go to place for dessert. They also sell some goodies/snacks from Korea. Love the ambiance and the bear decor.

We arrived there with few customers. Service that time was good. This coffee bingsu with nuts(walnuts, pecans, almonds)was soso, not that sweet but not so bland.(forgot the exact name) large serving was good for 2 to 3 pax.

Brought my balikbayan pamangkins here to have them taste how extensive the dessert game in Asia is, compared to their ice cream churros bla bla dessert scene. #biased

I ordered 4 kinds of bingsu for all of us to share. I liked the mango cheese and strawberry variants best. Cheese was also good. Injeolmi was disappointing, sure tasted far from Sulbing's version.

Bingsu again melted quite fast. Milk shaved ice was fine yeahp but I think I'm sticking with Seolhwa in terms of overall satisfaction. Ice did not melt that fast, definitely had something to do with those metal bowls.

Bread toasts for me were not worth it. Two slices with the toppings for 150-200pesos? Expensive, super expensive.

Strawberry bingsu is worth the money. Great tasting and finely shaved milk based ice. The chocolate cookie bingsu comes with ice cream and is good and so is the mango. Regular size is good enough even for sharing.

Heard this is Seolhwa's biggest competitor and the bingsu fans are now divided. Are you #TeamSeolhwa or #TeamHobing? My first time to try Hobing's bingsu last Thursday and I think I'm #TeamSeolhwa

We got the Strawberry and Mango & Cheese Bingsu variants. Both were good, I liked them for not being too sweet. Serving size was good and I think prices are slightly lower than Seolhwa. The problem was the shaved ice. They melted quite fast and ended up forming some weird ice clumps swimming in melted ice. Plus points for Seolhwa on this category. I'd commend Strawberry bingsu's presentation. Very nice! The other was okay.

Some thoughts... Store air-conditioning was out of order during our visit so I am not sure if it contributed to the fast melting process. They used a ceramic container (i think) compared fo seolhwa's metal. I think the latter was more effective in containing the heat.

Both flavors were really good btw. Their bestsellers. If I were to choose, I liked Mango and Cheese better but my two other friends liked Strawberry. 128517

Walang lasa 128529
Saw this place inside lucky Chinatown mall and I said to hubby let's have meryenda here later.
The place was still on soft opening, it was quite warm inside the store. Chose the cheese bingsu since this is one of our fave flavors at ice flower. Also got an iced mocha since we were both feeling a little sleepy already.
Order arrived in about 15mins. Mejo matagal. And umm, walang lasa. Parang yelo Lang sya. Kept on eating hoping that I would find the taste but nada.
Iced mocha arrived after 2 follow ups and again, walang lasa. The glass was sticky too, ugh...
Needless to say, won't recommend this place to anybody.

Newly opened here at lucky Chinatown mall, we waited for 30-40 minutes last night as their ice machine broke down, lots of customers waiting, it was worth the wait , the choco cookie bingsu- finely shaved ice dessert with chocolate oreo and fudge was flavorful, the ice shavings were brown and not the usual ice shaving And not too sweet .We also had the milk red bean ibingsu - not bad, the mango cheese bingsu is also good, get the regular size as serving is quite big and good to share for two , we tried the garlic cheese toast - Monroe bread with cheese - yummy. My wife tried the food item - tteokbokki Spicy pechay , real spicy hot.
