My mom must have loved our experience at Hobing a couple of months ago, because after one of our lunch dates, she requested if we could visit Hobing to have dessert. Since they only offer their bingsu in one size only, I let my mom choose the flavor she wants so we can share. 128522 She opted for the Strawberry Cheesecake Bingsu (Php 260). 127827 It actually takes a while to prepare, but once your bingsu is served, you will be greeted by a colorful pile of fruits and other goodies that are oh so mouthwatering! 128525 The slight tartness of the strawberries is complementary to the cheesecake bites. The shaved milk ice is really fine, and was not too sweet. Since the serving size is quite big, this may be shared by 2-3 people. 128522

As we have experienced before, service was good, and the staff were all very friendly. They are have service water that's easily refillable and accessible. 128076 Would come back here again to try the other flavors! 128525128156

128205 NEW BRANCH ALERT 128205

After my mom and I had lunch last Saturday, we walked around the mall and stumbled upon this new branch of Hobing! Wow, SM San Lazaro had really leveled up its dining options. 128076 We can't help but drool at the sight of their menu, so we went in and got a Mango Cheese Bingsu (Php 240) for sharing. It was so good! 128076 The mango cubes were so sweet, and the cheesecake bites had that right mix of sweetness and saltiness that matched well with the fine, shaved milk ice. There were also almond slices, which gave the dessert a distinct yummy crunch. Serving size is quite big (they only serve one size of the bingsu here in this branch), and can satisfy two people already. A must-try! 128525

During our visit, the friendly (Korean) owners were present, and they greeted each customer warmly. I was too shy to ask them some questions, though! 128584 Though, I was able to ask our friendly server when they started operating, and she told me they opened their doors roughly a month ago (September 26, 2017).

I'm glad that I won't have to go far anymore to be able to satisfy my bingsu cravings. Truly, SM really has got it all for us! 128076
