There's always room for dessert! 128525 And so one fine November Wednesday afternoon, our troop of 6 went to Hobing after a heavy meal and got three bingsus for sharing: Choco Brownie, Mango, and Injeolmi (unfortunately, I didn't get to take a picture of this). What can I say? Kinilig lang ako sa sarap. I especially liked having the mochi topping128522 Will definitely be back to try their toasts.

This mango and cheese dessert is a really good one which is why it's one of their best sellers. I ordered the regular size but for people like me who can't eat so much sweets, this size is good for sharing.

Raving to be back at Hobing! 127847 with my dear dessert buddy, Cel C 128109

I'm torn in choosing which flavor to order. I already had strawberry, mango & cheese, and mango alone... And since I'm uncertain of ordering chocolate flavors, I chose Red Bean Bingsu (P185) for regular size. I'm feeling lucky to order this one, because it quite exceeded my expectations.

Red beans are not the one I tasted in the old fashioned "ice buko" in my younger days. Those are quite hard to bite and it is small in size. Red beans in the bingsu are sweetened, bigger and its soft to bite. Refined shave ice with milk is the highlight of this dessert. Another thing abt this flavor is that it is served with slices of almond all over, and topped with sticky rice (or tikoy like treat)... On the side, is a condense milk for more taste! And all in all this is great! Especially a nice treat when you felt like rewarding yourself after a very successful client call. Happy to eat this sweet treat, with my buddy who has her strawberry bingsu. 128077🏼

So happy I finally got to try Hobing!!!

Place - Cozy, Modern, and clean. Typically Korean look like cafe's with wooden chairs and quirky designs and K-pop music playing through the television to make the place come alive

We ordered their Strawberry bingsu - large (Php340.00) It looked delicious. Everyone else tried it and loved it! Afterall shaved ice with cream is yummy!!!128522

Back to our happy place in Fashion Hall at SM Megamall. Agenda: Bingsu for Dessert.! Shared a Large bowl of Strawberry Bingsu (P345) with my 2 buddies. This is one of their best sellers. This will be my first taste of this sweet treat. It has generous strawberries all over it , whip cream on top and again, the ever refine shave ice milk is noteworthy in this place.

This place is a happy place to be whenever you feel down #feelgoodplace. 🤗

I was never a fan of red bean when i was a kid.  This is the common ingredient in Halo-Halo. I find the texture odd and it doesn't look appetizing to a sugar-deprived kid.  As you age,  you tend to like stuff that you hated,  case in point,  my sudden affinity with red bean.

After Nav,  CMA said he still has some room for dessert.  We walked a little then i saw Hobing!  It is time for CMA to get acquainted with the popular Korean Treat.  We had to wait for a couple of minutes to get a table.  Yes,  the place is small and filled with patrons on a Sunday afternoon.

I suggested the red bean bingsu foor obvious reasons.  We got the regular size.  A couple of minutes after,  a tower of shaved ice was served.  He gave his nod of approval after the first spoonful.  The ice is mighty fine,  the red bean is not as sweet and adds a dash of color on the tower of ice.  The shaved almods add a lil crunch.  The rice cake on top is top notch.  It's cohesive - elements work well together and makes the dessert stand out. Truth be told, i am happy with just plain shaved ice drizzled with condensed milk.

Suffice to say that we both had a grand time at Hobing,  nothing beats dessert shared with someone with the same binary composite.

Peace Out!

~Reich

Finally got to try a strawberry bingsu! 128514 They always seem to be unavailable haha. I also wanted to order the mango cheese bingsu which is always my favorite variant at these bingsu places so that I could compare properly, but the 127827127827127827 were too hard to resist.

This branch is kind of small and the wait time for our order was pretty long, but it was okay. I liked people-watching in the meantime haha. Their specialty is of course, bingsus but they also offer a couple of other things on their menu. Prices are 100-200+ pesos.

The strawberry bingsu was served in a bowl of finely shaved ice, topped with strawberry syrup, whipped cream and a ton of sliced strawberries. It looked really pretty! 128525 When I began digging in, I found it really awesome how it tastes exactly like strawberry cheesecake. It was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Would love to come back and try their other variants, especially their mango cheese one!

The place is a bit small and jampacked, maybe because they just recently opened and it's a weekend. Their Bingsus are creamy, but nothing special compared to the other Bingsu cafés I've tried (Seol&Bean and Seolhwa). The owner/manager(?) is very nice and accomodating tho. :)

Ho Bing Korean Dessert is finally open at SM Megamall Fashion Hall. I was like a kid who saw a candy store last night. Happy to see this small cute spot at the 4th level.

I tag along my dear friend, Lorie Mae B who happens to be in the vicinity that time. I had Mango and Cheese Bingsu (regular size, P205). Chunks of mangoes and cheese from top to button. Their shaved ice is so divine.. Milky and so refine! This one is topped with whipped cream. This is one of their best sellers. Perfectly made as ever. This place has the best bingsu
