Mega Fashion Hall adds more restaurant gems with an addition of growing market for Korean desserts specifically Bingsu. This is Hobing’s fourth and latest branch as of this writing.

On this visit, my friend and I tried their new comer, Matcha with Red Bean. Their green tea was what it should be- mostly bitter and it complements well with overly sweet red bean. An addition of condensed milk makes it even better. You can request for it at no charge.

I suggest having a complimentary Dunggalae or their iced tea after having their wonderful desserts.

This is a unique restaurant. I just saw this online and everyone was talking about this place. We tried it last week and we're planning to bring our family next week. The place is really clean, they maintain it well, it also smells good, no insects or whatsoever. The food are so yummy, it has that korean vibe too. They are creative with the food platings. The service staff are great, they are all friendly and fast

Enjoyed my dessert. Although it seems to be a little price for 'shaved ice', the quality of ingredients are well worth it. I got the soy powder with mochi. I LOVED it! It was refreshing and perfectly sweet.

My only comment for this place is i hope they dont ask customers to leave after eating. There are signs on the wall that people should limit their stay. I understand that the management would want a quicker turnover, but i personally think its bad form to ask people to scoot.

The place was packed during our visit and we waited outside by the waiter for a table. We explicitely said well just wait for things to clear up since we just came from dinner anyway. He still insisted that there were seats available, but then asked a big group to leave! Server mentioned that since 'theyve been sitting for 10mins' after finishing their dessert. They left angry and we felt embarrassed.

Every time i swing by Hobing, i have my fingers crossed. Why? Some of the branches i visited is inconsistent when it comes to service and the quality of the product.

I am glad to report that the Bel-Air branch delivered. The memory of the tasteless cheese bingsu i had at the Glorietta branch is now forgotten. Let bygones be bygones as a wiseman would put it. The red bean bingsu is spot on. Right amount of sweetness, the texture of the ice is mighty fine and there is ample amount of red bean atop the ice tower.

Everything we ordered here has been heavenly. Can't get enough once you divulge with every bite. So why only 4 stars? It's self service. Not a fan of self service. I'm just lazy just like writ....128564

We still haven't gotten over the feeling when we last visited Korea.

My family craved for Korean dish/dessert again - so this time, it was bingsu! 128525

We had the Injeolme & Strawberry bingsu treated by my sister - and I looooove it!

The rich strawberry taste with the fine shaved ice, just perfect!
The injeolme was equally delicious too for those who prefer non-fruity taste with its nutty flavor.

Definitely a must-try for those who haven't especially with its trending craze now! 128513128588🏼127847

Service was slow. We ordered the Mango Bingsu (and another one) in regular size (both). It was already good for 6 people (we all have small appetites). And I really really liked the Mango Bingsu! Considering the fact that I am not fond of mango-flavored desserts! The mango was perfectly ripe, and the texture of the ice was amazing! It was also not a sweet dessert, so I really liked it.

I recommend this!!!

It was okay. Mangoes weren't sweet. Ice was too milky.

Well, who can resist the thought of bingsu? The year-round heat makes us all crave for something cool, especially for dessert. As we have been invaded by Korean culture, including their telenovelas, boy bands, and skin care lines, it's no surprise that a lot of us have taken a liking to their food too.

I love bingsu, the Korean version of the Filipino halo-halo, Japanese kakigori, Chinese baobing, Italian granita and the Malaysian ais kacang. So many cultures have played with shaved ice as a basis for their dessert and added other ingredients for flavor and whimsy.

We wanted to try the mango cheese bingsu weeks ago. The Hobing version came in a small pyramid with layers of mango and cheesecake. However, I found it bland and the cheesecake tasted a bit weird. Sadly the mangoes weren't sweet... My fiance thought it was just okay...128532 I have no clue if Hobing's other flavors fare better, but I do prefer the bingsu from Cafe Seolhwa.

There's always room for dessert! 128525 And so one fine November Wednesday afternoon, our troop of 6 went to Hobing after a heavy meal and got three bingsus for sharing: Choco Brownie, Mango, and Injeolmi (unfortunately, I didn't get to take a picture of this). What can I say? Kinilig lang ako sa sarap. I especially liked having the mochi topping128522 Will definitely be back to try their toasts.

This mango and cheese dessert is a really good one which is why it's one of their best sellers. I ordered the regular size but for people like me who can't eat so much sweets, this size is good for sharing.

Raving to be back at Hobing! 127847 with my dear dessert buddy, Cel C 128109

I'm torn in choosing which flavor to order. I already had strawberry, mango & cheese, and mango alone... And since I'm uncertain of ordering chocolate flavors, I chose Red Bean Bingsu (P185) for regular size. I'm feeling lucky to order this one, because it quite exceeded my expectations.

Red beans are not the one I tasted in the old fashioned "ice buko" in my younger days. Those are quite hard to bite and it is small in size. Red beans in the bingsu are sweetened, bigger and its soft to bite. Refined shave ice with milk is the highlight of this dessert. Another thing abt this flavor is that it is served with slices of almond all over, and topped with sticky rice (or tikoy like treat)... On the side, is a condense milk for more taste! And all in all this is great! Especially a nice treat when you felt like rewarding yourself after a very successful client call. Happy to eat this sweet treat, with my buddy who has her strawberry bingsu. 128077🏼
