One Saturday night after my masters class, my sisters and I decided to have a quick dinner at their Eastwood branch.

Here are the ones that we ordered:

Shio Ramen. Salt flavor. My all-time favorite and also one of their best sellers and signature flavor (See my previous post: Hokkaido Ramen Santouka). Their ramen are best with tamago but at that time, they had none available.

Kara-Miso Ramen. Spicy soybean, paste flavor. One of their best sellers as well. Also good, with the right amount of spice. Tip: if you want the ramen to be spicier, they provide chili sauce which you could add to the ramen.

Sake Ikura Gohan. Grilled Salmon & Salmon Roe Rice Bowl. The grilled salmon is served in flakes which gives a softer texture, The roe complements well with the dish. The taste is also just right--not too seasoned and not bland either. It looks like a small rice bowl upon serving but it can actually sate you.

Gyoza. Tastes average. I find the gyoza a bit overpriced for its taste and amount of serving.

Full details and HD photos on my blog.

Di na natuto...

✅ Pork Cheek is top notch, very tender!
☑️ Miso Based Soup is decent, usually a safe choice.
❌ Noodles are horrible, too mushy 128541
🚫 Service is meh... 🤔 Quite a small place but is kinda hard to get the staff's attention. Water refills took forever. When we went out, almost all the staff were chismaxing out front.. 128548 They all greeted us Arigatou Gozaimasu as we were leaving though. 128514

Plus 1 11088️ since they did allow for takeout of the ramen. One of the few Ramen places that do allow takeouts 128077

It took sometime for us to be accosted to our seats. Food taste great! Soup base is tasty, packed with flavor. Likewise, their salmon salad is okay. Kudos to our server, Tin

The ramen was just right and bit too overpowering 9786
It's a little expensive though. We ordered their best seller which is 600 per bowl, good for 1.

Had really bad cough and colds so was craving for a hot bowl of yummy soup. Ordered the Shio Ramen (more chasiu for my date haha). Soup was really nice and clean without the distinct pork flavor. The noodles though was too soft, almost soggy. And the aji tamago tasted a little old? Nonetheless, it served its purpose of making my tummy warm and happy. 127836

We ordered the set menus which i can't remember the names. I also didn't had the chance to take picture of the other food because it's far from me.

But the food is good. Nothing special actually. My tongue is really not into ramen, though I love Japanese food.

The green tea muffin or i don't know what it is called is dry. Didn't enjoy eating it. Or maybe It's not really green tea? Just green colored? Idk. *smh*

Out team went here for our monthly team building so we were really plenty. Our orders got mixed up including mine. I ordered for Miso Ramen but they gave me their best seller instead. Some also were also forgotten that it was only prepared after we followed it up. Overall, the food's okay. I was really not a fan here ever since I tried it in their Glorietta branch in the height of the ramen wars last 2014 I think.

Another ramen to add on my fave list. They've got a cheaper way to enjoy ramen and that is their set meals that can be shared by two persons ( my sister and I shared the set H which is a mixed furai and a small bowl shio ramen). Their service is also good and the staff is always attentive to the customers request.

Tried their lunch set and it did not disappoint! For php410, you have a small bowl of ramen, 2 appetizers and frozen ice tea. I would have given it 5 stars but the service at this branch is really slow.

There are a lot better ramen out there, but this place still tops my list for 'best' iced tea and japanese fried prawns in metro manila.

We ordered Awase-Aji Ramen. It is a combination of salt, soy sauce, and soybean. The price was 380.00 and it is good for sharing. We also ordered Kurobuta Gyoza (Pork Dumplings) and it also tastes good! Their price was just right for a ramen.
Satisfied me and my loves' ramen cravings! 9786127836128158

I am a fan of stuffed squid so I ordered their ikameshi set( small shio ramen, stuffed squid, cabbage salad, macha cupcake) but it was kinda disappointing. 128549 The squid was small and there was nothing special about the rice stuffing. Actually it was bland for me. 128542 On the bright side, I enjoyed their cabbage salad. 128077 The ramen noodles were so so but the soup was delicious.

After a long long day, a friend invited me for dinner just near my place. I had the Tokusen Ramen while he had the Karaage Curry Rice and Salad. Since I am not really a Ramen person and I haven't tried as many ramen places as much..I think Hokkaido made it pretty clear to me that it is one of the best Ramen Shops in the metro. The smooth and delicious broth, the amazing smell of the fresh noodles, and of course the chicken. That was one big bowl of happiness right there. A new addition to my list of comfort foods!

My nth time eating at Santouka but it never fails me.

I always order the set meal because i find it "sulit". But when we ate there, i had a sudden change of heart. I ordered the Awase-Aji Ramen. The ramen is a combination of salt, soy sauce and soybean.

The broth was really really tasty and you can actually see the fat of the pork (i think). The pork was really soft as well. It kinda melts in your mouth. YUUUUM.
