My all time favorite restaurant for when I'm done with the term and looking for something to reward myself with after finishing all my architectural projects.

You can never go wrong with their set meals. I always go for set E which is inclusive of fried salmon and shrimp, and a small bowl of ramen, salad, tiny matcha cupcake (I swear I almost only go there and order the set meals just for this, it's just soooooo good), a cup of tea, rice, and some cold veggies.

All that for 520 pesos. It's like a gift from God or a gift from me to me. If you decide not to eat for a couple of days and go all out in just one day, you should try the set meals hahaha!!! Theres just too much.

I always go for the Shio ramen which is the salt flavor based soup ramen. The noodles are not ippudo quality but the soup is amazing. Very homey and mild, nothing overwhelming. Your tummy will thank you for it. It's called a small bowl but it's actually already huge for me. Has one strip or slice of charsiu meat, and some bamboo shoots.

Fried salmon and shrimp are almost yabu quality, great pairings with their japanese rice. The tea is also great.

I don't want to go into detail because I really want you to go and see for yourself. I love this place and I never hesitate to come back even if I'm alone.

They also have panna cottas which I totally recommend. Also the set meal comes with the tiny matcha cupcake, don't miss that please.

This restaurant is located near the live band playing outside Mall of Asia, facing the sea side. I did not know this and is kind of not how I expected the ambiance would be. It was really noisy outside.

The pork Katsudon was really good. Tender and really crunchy. Their server was really nice to give us extra Japanese mayo as additional choice of sauce. The spicy Miso Soup/Ramen was good and really tasty. However, I would have liked it better if it had more pork or any other meat toppings rather than 90% veggies. Their iced tea shake is really good and a must.

It was okay the ramen was pretty okay for me but im not sure since some of us felt "umay" with the ramen although it tasted good. The service was pretty slow since we got out orders past 30 minutes already. Cleanliness is a no no since there was a cockroach where we were seated at up the wall. Sink was out of order so you can't wash your hands. Overall the experience was ok, can't really compliment it highly.

Hokkaido Ramen!

I have to admit my first experience of this wasn't really spectacular. The veggies were too tough at nakikitikim lang naman ako 128513.

This time is different. Perfect na ang veggies! There were a lot of Salmon Slices parang mga 5 ang bilang ko. Soup was a little salty which was a given for tsukemen. The noodles were easy to pick up and dip (not too long strands). Overall I was satisfied with this bowl. 128077

The place is too small to accommodate a large number of people but definitely worth it. Good serving size and good service from their crew 128076🏼 Must try!

Woke up to a cold morning. First thing that came to mind was Ramen! And since it was almost lunch we decided to go kahit walang ligo-ligo. 128514 Closest within proximity (at walang baha) is Hokkaido Ramen Santouka. As expected it was jampacked with people like me looking for a hot bowl of noodles on a rainy day. Good thing we were 2nd in the wait list and was seated within 10minutes.

I had my usual Tokusen Toroniku Miso Ramen Upgrade with a side of Tamago. Gotta love those pork cheeks! The cut is always perfect and melt in your mouth soft.

Wifey wanted to try something different so I suggested the Hokkaido Tsukemen (since I always wanted to try that). I convinced her that if she doesn't like it then we can trade bowls. In my mind I kept saying "ako din uubos nyan either way" 128514. It turns out that her bowl had much more flavor in it than mine. Probably because of the Salmon? It was way savory that she declined my offer to trade 128513. Only thing is the veggies are quite hard and somewhat undercooked. I don't mind the crunchiness of the cabbage but the carrots were just hard like it was still raw. 128548 Anyway, like I predicted she didn't get to finish the bowl so I put my Terminator game on and slurped away 128513.

Sarap Matulog afterwards! 128536

Decided to have ramen for dinner, went to this japanese ramen house. The place is like a shoe box, narrow rectangular space. Ordered their set meal B, one small bowl of shio ramen, bowl of steamed rice, vegetable salad, pickled vegetable, shrimp tempura with shredded cabbage, and a piece of dessert. Plus a cip of tea. Everything was yummy.

This is the reason why I fell in love with ramen. I'm a Shio baby--I like it light and filling. They also have the best gyoza (for me) among all ramen houses. :)

Tokusen Toroniku on Miso Ramen! 128076
I personally can't tell the difference from the Iberico variant but this one is much cheaper so I'll stick with this one 128514. Upsized to Large since we will be staying in to let the traffic and flood pass, and it really hit the spot! 9786️ mmmmhhmmmm!

We were in Moa and decided to try this. The noodles had the consistency of instant noodles. I wonder if they are? Sorry no pictures. I also had the Salmon Katsu, which was cooked well.

When you want your ramen broth milky and flavorful the Shio ramen is it. Given that other ramen places gives you a very light shio or salt-based flavor, their version is packed with tons of flavor and umami. We used to order the ramen set with the fried prawn and have it upgraded to a large bowl but they don't allow it anymore.

For tantanmen lovers they also have a creamy miso ramen that doesn't have meat but has yasai itame topped on it for pure veggie bliss.

For a ramen addict like me, letting me eat ramen anywhere would satisfy me :)) Santouka is one of the top ramen places here in the Metro but they have few branches yet. I think this is my third visit here in their MOA branch, hehe addict nga diba.

I forgot what this ramen's name is but i remember it to be shio-based. Of course the chashu is a big thing for me. Theirs is also good but none has beaten Hanaruken's pork rib in their Happiness ramen just yet! 128521

Just a note, when you visit this branch during weekends, you better come here earlier or else you'll have to wait since their place is quite small. They also have an al fresco dining area though. 128077
