Glad they have lunch sets that allow some variety from time to time. I had the spicy kara-miso ramen with fried prawns and inarizushi.

Loved the prawns and inarizushi; both were fresh and delicious. I wasnt very happy with my ramen - the noodles were soggy inspite asking for "extra hard" ones, and the base was watered down and lacking in flavour.

The service was off during our visit. We ate here at 2pm on a wednesday and the staff members were all standing in a corner chatting. I had to stand up twice and go to them just to call their attention.

Food was okay today, and service was not.

The broth is tasty plus their roasted pork cheeks are a perfect fix for this rainy season.

As of this moment I already tried Rame Nagi and Ippudo's best seller on their Ramen. Out of the three, I think Santouka's Shio Ramen won by .5 in my list of yummy Ramen! Yes, .5 lang coz all of them are sooo good! 128513

I'm a creature of habit and My husband introduced (forced) me to try Ramen! Sooo glad I did! So now I am on a mission to try all the famous Ramen house here in Manila 9786️ (Any suggetions?)

I've always been a fan of Yabu so I'm going to be a bit biased here. Their katsu isn't as good as Yabu but it was okay. The sides were just meh. I can't even eat their cabbage. I just love their ramen x katsu combination. Super busog lang after. The serving size is big enough for you to suffer food coma. Whenever I leave this place I always promise myself not to eat there anymore but I always find myself going back for more. I always get their shio ramen, just to be safe. 128517 But I love it. I cannot afford to try other ramens because it's a bit expensive. Sayang naman kung di ko magustuhan. 128514

PS: Ramen Addict Badge! Yey. I guess I really am addicted to ramen and it's not good anymore. 128514

Its probably been a ramen week for me. Its my first time to try my favourite shio ramen at this branch. We dine here kind of late so theres not much people around. I ordered their set ramen which has fried salmon, salad, tea, rice, and shio ramen.

I find the soup on this branch a little less flavourful than the one at glorietta, we were joking that since they are close to closing time that they have to make the remaining soup fit for all of us. Nonetheless, still enjoyed my dining experience since its more roomy here.

Serving wasn't that big though I already ordered the set menu (thought it would be big enough already). Ramen was flavorful but I still think Kimono Ken's tantanmen's the best. #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway

Ramen Night! 127836 We ordered their bestsellers theIr Shio Ramen (Salt Flavor) which is their signature flavor and the Kara-Miso Ramen (Spicy Soybean Paste Flavor). My Shio Ramen costs P345 it was just the regular size and I was full already after i finished my bowl. It tasted good 128076 My partner's Kara-Miso costs P365 and was upgraded for an additional 60pesos for a larger serving but it was worth it - really added noodles and soup and toppings of cors 128077 We ordered their Japanese soft boiled egg to go with our noodles. Lastly, we just shared a scoop of Azuki Ice Cream with Red Bean which for me is the expensive one - P110 served with a really really small scoop of ice cream 9996️ The red beans on top was really good and goes well with the green tea ice cream i forgot abt the price 128513

I really liked their Tori Karaage Curry Rice! I simply wish the portion size was slightly bigger.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurant. Their Shio (salt flavored) Ramen is my favorite ramen of all time. Their Santouka sets are 'sulit' for the price. I always ordered the Set E, it has a small ramen, fried salmon and prawn and a rice bowl. Before they serve mini green tea cupcakes as desserts, now they serve fruits. I just wished that it was unlimited rice like before.

We tried the Ikameshi yesterday, the squid tastes good but you'll have to get used to the taste of the sticky rice stuffing. Also one of my favorites is their Gyoza.

This Kara-Miso Ramen was recommended by my friend since we both like spicy ramens. We asked the server to make it light spicy but I ended up putting more chili oil. 128514128514128514

J was craving for a Ramen and insisted that we should try Ramen. It is my first time to try Ramen and kind of hesistant at first.

I got a recommendation from Raisa Z that Hokkaido serves good Ramen and immediately told him. The next day we tried it.

The service was fast and we were served an ice cold water immediately.

I order that Tonkatsu set meal (?) for 520 pesos and J ordered a Tempura set meal (?) for 510 pesos. He also added an extra nori for 40 pesos. We both ordered shoyu ramen.

I liked the Shoyu ramen at first, but when it got cold, i tasted something bitter. Or maybe the way that I ate the set meal is wrong. Because the ramen got colder after I ate the rice and tonkatsu 128514 . I also loved the dessert which is matcha cupcake because the combination of matcha and chocolate is good. ;)

Overall, I think I'll still be going back here in the future :) 128077🏾

food & service was really good the first visit but my second visit wasn't that good because they have quite a poor service and the food serving was a bit smaller but I'll still be coming because they have delicious food! 128522

Had a bad time there last night, we've decided never to go back again.

Service was so bad, to think there where only 4 other tables that time. Had to exert effort every single time just to call servers' attention. Rice they served us got cold already because we had to wait for the katsu. When I asked the server to change the rice, they just re-heated it.

It's no longer possible to upgrade the ramen in the set menu. The rice and hot tea are also not refillable. No more Santouka hack.

Mental note: for ramen in Trinoma, just go to Hanamaruken and get Happiness ramen.

I was very much impressed with their interior design. The ambience was great. It could be a dinner date, a place to hold out of office meetings (they have private rooms that looks like board rooms and is closed off too) or, it could be a place for a family to dine in. I especially love the fact that they gave my kids kiddie bowls, drinking glasses and utensils to use. My daughter loved the Hello Kitty plate, soup bowl, and glass. That being said, the service is great! Fast and efficient. Now onto the food. I have only tried ramen once before. The other ramen place had great ramen and it was a bit pricey so when I learned the prices here, of course doubted a little bit. Hubby and I decided to try the same thing so as to be safe. The Awase - aji ramen was soo good, we decided to go back a week later. Thinking about it now, I wanna go back there and try their other ramen variety (particularly the spicy ramen). So, good food, great service, wonderful ambience, very clean restroom, and, affordable prices. Overall 5 stars and two thumbs up.
