I love how Holiday Inn is accessible to the mall and in heart of Makati.

I like their private dining area and lounges.

They have friendly and accommodating staff.

You'd like the Oz Deck Bar and the Spa too

Where life's celebrations happen! 127874127881128104‍128105‍128103

Had our staycation here for our 2nd wedding anniversary celebration. We chose this place because hubby had a good dining experience here during one of his company-sponsored training.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were gladly assisted by one of the staff at the parking lot. They helped us look for a free parking slot. We were then greeted by the receptionist and she assisted us for our check-in. Check-in was a breeze. We were immediately assisted to our room after showing our hotel confirmation email. I can say that they have a very good service. The staff will greet you with a smile and will gladly assist you with anything. Kudos to their great customer service!

We got the Deluxe room and requested for a King size bed. The room was big enough. It has a workstation, mini bar, fridge. The bathroom was just okay and a bit smaller than the bathrooms of the previous hotels we stayed at. Something that I would want on a bathroom was not there- a bathtub! 128546 I always look forward to a nice warm dip on a bathtub whenever we have staycations. It has a Wifi was also fast. We were able to update all of our apps in just a couple of minutes! Haha!

There were several couches on the hotel lobby where you can relax. The elevator, I must say, is something that they should look at too. For security purposes, their elevator is equipped with a machine that reads you room key and lets you choose only the floor where you're checked-in. There were several instance when guests had a hard time selecting their floor because their card can't be read by the elevator. 128517

The hotel pool is located at the roof deck. We were supposed to go on a quick dip with baby, but when we got there.. There were a lot of people. And it' a bit small and crowded already so we decided to skip the pool.

Another thing I love about this hotel is its proximity to the mall! Hooray for shopping! I was able to sneak in some shopping time while baby and hubby Ron H were sleeping. Hahaha! They have a door connecting to Glorietta! Great for those who wants to shop till they drop and then not worry about going home late!

We were lucky enough to be granted with a late checkout request the next day.. So we checked out past 1PM instead of the usual 12nn. Hubby was also given the IHG membership card for FREE!!! So our next staycation will probably be on one of the IHG hotels.

Overall, we had a great time during our staycation here. We were able to relax during the weekend after a long and tiring week. Can't wait for our next staycation! I wonder where it will be... 128513

I was here for a 3-day training and it's my first time to step inside as well! And boy! I love their service 128077🏻128522 the hotel staff is sincerely welcoming and courteous.

And what i love most? Their desserts!!! 128523128523128523128523
Was able to try their mango cheesecake (in the picture), peach crepe in a bowl and banoffi (or something similar to this hehe) They all tasted really lovely 10084️ the mains are just ok for me.

Overall, am pleasantly surprised by Holiday Inn Makati! I haven't been to any other apart from Isranbul's (and it wasn't a good experience at all)
Would recommend this venue for future trainings 128077🏻

Awesome service.

Complimentary bottle of wine and cake upon arrival.
+ welcome drinks.

Food was pretty good. I recommend the angus beef sandwich

It seems that people come back because the staff know the guests by name and vice versa.

Always a fan of the IHG hotels!

The rooms are made with office areas that bring out the workaholic in me. The pillows and comforters never fail to make me sleep in for as long as I want too. The TV's equipped with all the connectors and cables you'll be needing.

I super loved the roof deck, pool and bar areas most esp. at night. 128525

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! 127877127876127877127876127877127876

Out with the old, in with the new. That's what I would say for my 2014 Christmas.

Out of the traditional Christmas Day celebration at home, we stepped out of our house and spent the entire Christmas week at Holiday Inn & Suites Makati.

It's my first time, in my entire life, spending Christmas out of our house, and I would say by far this is my best Christmas.

Holiday Inn Makati is the place to be cos it's literally connected to Glorietta, your at the top of the convenience chain. Haha.

Here's my muscular review for Holiday Inn & Suites Makati
128170-lowest 128170128170128170-highest

AMBIENCE - 128170128170128170 any hotel ambience is the best for me. Haha.

LOCATION - 128170128170128170 and an extra 128170 It is absolutely the best location, directly connected to glorietta and right in the middle of all the festivities in Makati CBD

STAFF - 128170128170128170 All smiles all the way. No dull moments, everyone makes you feel special, especially cos we're on the executive floor and I'm their club member haha

PRICE - 128170128170128170 We've spent a century thousand, but hey, we've got 4 executive rooms from Dec 22-26 and had our Christmas Eve buffet dinner in there. Aaaaand breakfast buffet for everyone, yeeep not only 2 per room, on our entire stay.

And also food anytime of the day at the executive lounge. 128561128561128561

ROOM - the hotel is relatively new, and has a modern touch, comfy bed, pillows, blankets, nice oat soap, and mooore. So that's 3 muscles also 128170128170128170

OVERALL - 128170128170128170 + 128170128170 128513 It could not be the most expensive hotel brand, nor the most starry hotel, but they gave us absolutely executive service worth 11088️11088️11088️11088️11088️

Absolutely recommendable and worth coming back for.

Checked in at this "beary" hotel to welcome the New Year in. Why "beary"? It was bears all around this place! 128514 I don't mind. They were cute. And this bear was in our room. Just one. Hihihi 128517

Loved our short stay here. Though I wish there were more elevators. May pila minsan eh. Also, their supposed high speed internet connection wasn't that fast. It sometimes goes out and it seems to be limited (one user can use at a time). That was just the basic package but I hope they'd improve on it. The bed was real nice (fluffy bed! Just the way I like it). Bathroom was good too.

Overall, it was a good stay at this hotel. So if you're looking for a good staycation, check this place out. 128522

We stayed here for almost 3weeks (talk about staycation) 128540127976

Their location is perfect!!! Just beside Glorietta. 9786️ Im so happy because every time we're about to eat we can easily go to Glorietta or Greenbelt. So accessible! 128077128077128077

The room is spacious enough. I like their pillows the most. You can choose between soft and hard. 128522 The gym is small as well as their pool, didnt even try using it 128532

They got reasonable rates. 128522 Food is great, too. I think kids below 7 are free during breakfast buffet. My nephew is 4 and he's enjoying his buffet breakfast for almost 3 weeks. Such a lucky kid! 128514

The service is so-so. Their housekeepers are inconsistent, sometimes they clean up our room without any mess left behind and the next day, used utensils are not changed. 128530128532

However, I commend them for encouraging people to conserve. But you have to put the letter behind your bed on your sheets to let them know that you want to change your linen or else they wont change it once they clean up your room. 128522

All in all, it was a good experience! 128513

"Checkin' in at the holiday inn" what more can i say?!?
I will give the room, the pool, and the breakfast buffet a 5. The bed just hugged me and invited sleepy to stay a while but this staycation was one hell of an experience. Will definitely come back for more :)

A photo of me and my balikbayan auntie. 128109

According to my aunt the Holiday Inns here at the Philippines are the worst hotels to ever claim her platinum IHG rewards.

They don't give her vip treatment at all and there's no free breakfast! Last time they even attempted to charge her for the use of the pool! Really?

When we came home from Boracay she specifically asked for a junior suite and upon our redeye return from our trip due to our delayed flight, they said that she had to pay an extra 5k for the suite!!! Of course she didn't pay and demanded to get the best room available. Meh sometimes we Filipinos are so stingy with everything its not reasonable anymore.

Stars are for the location but the hotel itself? Nah.

Adios! 128111

3 stars for a three-star hotel. BUT I particularly loved the mattress, the pillows and some more extra pillows. We checked in the weekend before typhoon Maring entered the Philippine area of responsibility. Out of our 3days-2nights stay, we only got to use the pool once because of the heavy rains; they closed the penthouse pool for safety reasons.

The wall mounted TV in our room was misaligned. Things like this should be fixed before guests actually arrive. It's the type of fix that cannot be done by two hands alone 128078

All in all, our quick staycation was ok. Nothing grand but it was comfortable. Since the hotel is situated within the new Glorietta, I therefore conclude that......ang sarap pala mag mall then food trip then higa then mall ulit then higa then mall ulit.

I recommend this hotel to mallrats during midnight sale season!!! The Christmas shopping months are here! 9757

Had our 3d/2nyts staycation over the weekend with the kids.

Check in was a breeze and they considered our early check in request of 12nn i/o 2pm.

We were billeted on the 14th flr w two twin beds.

Below is my opinion during our stay

-MANPOWER
Front desk staff- generally ok except for Leslie who seemed to have misses the customer service orientation, i was complaining on the status of the 2nd room we reserved (for the granpa n grandma) and she was answering me w an "asar" tone and a scripted statement.

Bellhops- fast and courteous

Housekeeping- generally ok, yet no internal communication among them, i requested for an ordinary pillow as they only have fearthered pillows wc were causing us allergies not sure if bedmites caused it,anyhow, housekeeping staff gave us as we requested...then when we asked supervisor, she said they dont have other pillows..weird

Waiters/chefs- attentive,helpful and friendly

-ROOMS
New and quaint, yet as mentioned above 3of us had allergies ,we suspect coming from the bedsheets or pillows

No tub just shower, water pressure is weak

Fridge in 1room wasnt working

-FOOD
Bfast food was ok,compared to New World, NW has more assortment but taste ,i prefer Holiday Inn

Best part kids eat for free!!!
