It was one of those days when we definitely needed a hearty meal for a good pick-me-up. So after going to the doctor that afternoon, we drove through Aguirre and found ourselves in Holy Crab.

We were greeted by a lovely lady and her super friendly labrador and I was already in love! 128514 (Sorry, I'm a sucker for dogs).

Moving on...

The interior was so nice! You could tell how well-thought of the place is. I just lololove it.

So here's what you do, you choose the seafood (crab, shrimp or mussels) and pick the sauce it's stewed in. They highly recommend the Lime and Salted Egg, so we had that for our crab and we got the Coconut Milk and Lemon Grass for our shrimps. You then choose the level of spice: and we got the regular level coz I know I can't handle the extreme one.

The tables had manila paper on them for 2 reasons: for messy crab lovers like us annnnd for us to doodle on while we wait for the food.

When our order finally came we were so excited! The shrimps were huge! And they were cooked to perfection that it would melt in your mouth. And they prepared it in a way that it wouldn't be such a hassle to peel from the shell.

The crab was amazing macho! 128170🏻 It's as buff as MC and I kept telling him that the crab was on of his gym buddies.

To top off the good food, their attendants were super nice! You know how you say "thank you" to some service crew and they just nod? The people here actually reply! And say things like "You're welcome ma'am" or "It's my pleasure".

I'm definitely coming back here. It was worth every penny.

The Food:
Crispy Gambas Overload (Php 350)
Giant battered prawns in sweet garlicky and spicy sauce. The crispiness of prawns and tasty sauce meddled harmoniously. Crispy Gambas Overload is supposed to be an appetizer that I ended up mixing with steamed rice.

Sizzling Salted Duck Egg & Grilled Pork Sisig (Php 220)
Will roll my dice for this Sizzling Salted Duck Egg & Grilled Pork Sisig once again. It's the sisig that I can't resist. Minimal amount of fat together with the rich and creamy taste of sizzling salted duck egg. Two thumbs up!

Clark Quay Crabs (Php 145/100g)
You can leave everything behind but not thisClark Quay Crabs, Singapore style crabs made with chili spices and a touch of lemongrass. I made sure my hands were clean before holding these crustaceans. A finger-licking dish that rests your spoon and fork for a moment. A cracker and our bare hands were on the move picking ever crab meat we can sweep. It was surely our top pick at Holy Crab! even if the crabs itself were a little overcooked.

Aye! Carramba Shrimps
I had a moment with Aye! Carramba Shrimpsand it was terrific! Treated with zesty tangy sauce of Sofrito and homemade paprika chorizo, the flavors were in tune. As we both tasted it at the same time, we looked at each other, smiled, agreed, and said "this one's good!"

I was craving for seafood and so I thought I'd try this place out. They were on their soft opening still.
The place was alright. Nothing fancy. I got their salted egg something something flavored shrimp. 128528 I can't really remember the name. Anyway, I was told that the minimum order was half a pound. So yeah, I had some left to take home.
Overall, the shrimp was fresh! Yay! The seasoning was ok but it could be improved. I wish the seasoning was absorbed more though.
I also got corn on the cob as a side but it tasted and felt like it wasn't cooked when you order. It already felt like it had been sitting on the counter for a while.
Overall, food and experience was just okay. I think I prefer the other shrimp place at ATC mall.
