First time to eat their with the recommendation from my sister. Ate their quarter chicken with unli rice and pineapple juice. I guess it's worth the 99 pesos, since I had two cups of rice–it's definitely not overpriced, which is always a good thing. Just had an issue with the extra rice I ordered; it had a fly in it.
Hope that was just a mishap but of course I don't tolerate improper handling of food. Sayang because it's overall okay since the staff are friendly, too. That's why I'm only giving it three stars.

Too bad I wasn't able to take a photo, but the ambience was really nice! Affordable price too for good chicken. A whole fried chicken is 250, half chicken+unli rice+drink is 150. Not bad, really. Good place when your appetite is roaring.

Fried chicken has always been a Pinoy fave. It can't be denied that it's pretty addictive especially when done well: soft and juicy meat, generously covered with greasy, crispy and salty skin. You'll never go wrong with good fried chicken! Aaaand, I recently discovered this place where well done fried chicken can be found!
With the help of a good friend, I was able to try Homies Pinoy Fried Chicken, a new addition to the ever-so famous Maginhawa eats!
Their specialty, of course, is fried chicken! Who would've guessed?
I ordered their quarter cut which was Php 99. I know, I know. Pricey, you might say. Buuuut, this place serves unlimited rice! And it came with a free drink! Personally, the unli rice wasn't sulit for me because I'm not really the rice-addict type. I'm more of the ulam-addict type.
✖️ The waiting time was sooooo long. My friends and I were the only customers at that time and it took them 30 minutes to prepare the food.
✔️ the chicken was tender and very tasty, although it was a little bit too salty. But, unbelievably, the saltiness was alright for me. Maybe it's 'cause I like salty.
✔️ If you're a fan of Max's fried chicken, you'll like this place. Tastes a lot like Max's but juicier and more tender.
Overall, it was good tastewise. But I know that they can do better especially with the service. I heard that they just recently opened its doors to the public thus, I won't be such a strict critic. But, all is well! Good job, Homies!

Just had a quarter chicken and lumpia. The chicken is very tasty like Max's but more moist ang lambot. The lumpia is ok. Nothing special. For my next visit I will try their lagkit kawali and pops! And ofcourse, ill have a half chicken!
