Wanted some dessert and Honey Creme had a stall at SM North, so there we went.

No Honeycomb when we went. 128546 They mentioned they had an issue with their supplier so we went for their Rock Salt Dark Chocolate and Caramel Popcorn (both 165 PHP) instead.

Um..the ice cream was bland, nearly flavorless and not creamy at all (This is an even worse experience than the last time I tried this place). Only saving grace were the toppings of each one. Blech 128556128556

Rating: 2.5/5, but rounded it down.

After having dinner with my high school buddies M and C, we had a quick dessert at Honey Creme before heading home.

There were no customers eating here during that time, and one glimpse on the menu revealed why. It was sooo pricey! 128561 We still pushed through with our orders, though.

✔ ROCK SALT DARK CHOCOLATE (Php 165) - 110881108811088
M and I got this -- the ice cream was churned properly and was really creamy. The rock salt dark chocolate was a little less salty for my liking, and the dark chocolate was not "dark" enough for me. I felt like I was eating the choco krispie cone in Jollibee or McDo. 128542 I hope they would sprinkle some rock salt on the dark chocolate, so the ample saltiness may be tasted. It wasn't too sweet at first, but when we got to the bottom, there was this syrup that tasted so much like the Hershey's Chocolate Syrup. It was too sweet, deadly sweet. 128530

✔ ORGANIC MIXED GRAINS (Php 175) - 1108811088
C got this, and it was worse than we thought. Where are the mixed grains? The toppings tasted like a bland version of crushed grahams, or a bland polvoron. I felt C get disappointed, because the price tag obviously did not match up to her expectations. 128542 I hope the caramel sauce helped a bit, though.

Service was also slow and not that good for a supposedly higher-end dessert place, and there were so many items that are unavailable! 128148 For instance, one of their bestellers and relatively unique offering, the Honeycomb, was out of stock! I was supposed to get that. 128557

Yes, the soft serve was extremely creamy and milky, something I've never had in other ice cream shops. But sadly, that did not make up for the things it lacked in other aspects.

If given the chance to come back again, I'd probably pass. 128542

The honey was extraordinary, the ice cream reminds me of Rita's custard, but somehow a bit less flavorful. Too pricey so I think I won't be buying from here again anytime soon. Rita's pa rin 128524

I first saw this soft serve ice cream establishment in Somerset, Singapore, November 2014. I'm quite amazed coz in SG you can't see long queue but this establishment has it everyday especially during weekends. I am really curious but I don't have that ample time to waste just to fall in line for about 30 minutes?

It is my routine to pass to this establishment for 3 weeks, and yes, I'm dying. I really want it. Until one day, I was so tempted to buy, good thing my friend got info that Honey Creme will soon open in the Philippines. So, I decided to just wait it unti it opens in Manila.

Oh well, I heard they've already opened 2 branches but I got no time (again) to go to these branches until I saw a space in SM North The Block boarded up --- Honey Creme is Opening soon!

OMG, this is it! They opened last week and I'm one of the first customers, hehehehe... I'm a bit surprised that the line is short but the dining area is fully occupied.

I had the Caramel Popcorn for P180 and because it's opening day, I was given 1 cone of plain ice cream for FREE, GOOD DEAL!

I was so excited to lick my organic soft serve ice cream! The softness of the ice cream is just soooooo right! It wasn't sweet too! Oh I loved the sweet and salty flavor of my popcorn plus crispness too. No "umay effect" kahit naubos ko na yung 1 cone kain agad ng nasa cup.

Yes it's expensive, I mean the price is enough for you to get a decent meal but I think it's worth it! Anyway, I'm not eating it everyday.

The place is small located just it between Uniqlo and Forever21; beside Happy Lemon just infront of Carpark. It's clean, well lit and crews are energetic, approachable, friendly, and most of all they know what they are selling.

I will surely go back and try their honeycomb; the other bestselling toppings.
