Another busy day in the office due to the recent holidays. So I canceled plans to go to the mall today for a full dining experience. Food Panda came to the rescue.

For today’s lunch, the theme is Hong Kong. And I ordered here at Hong Kong Noodles and Dimsum House, which has 5 branches currently. They could be the latest threat to the successful string of North Parks.

I had different expectations when I picked Mixed Seafood and Vegetables. Instead of a Chopseuy like with seafood toppings, I got fried dumpling like ensemble, edible but nothing amazing. It’s actually just fish with tiny veggies inside it.

I also got Beancurd Roll, which had a welcome balance of shrimp, ground pork, chestnuts, mushrooms, and chives, wrapped on thin beancurd in one small bite. This was priced only at Php 120!

For dessert slash beverage, I got a bit shocked with how sweet their Almond Jelly with Lychee was. It had so much sugar that I was able to make two cups out of it. Does that make it a good deal? Nah.

everytime I visited this Chinese restaurant I always order their Beef Brisket. For only 100 you can enjoy their single serving bowl consist of tasty beef soup, very thinly hong kong noodles and tender beef. I also liked their Lechon Macao, and all the foods are very budget friendly. 128076128076128076128076128076128076128076128076128076128076

Nothing special, but not bad. The servers are very attentive and quick on their toes. Must say, that gave them their third star.

Don't look for authentic Chinese flavors in this joint, but you can pass up on chowking and eat here.

We order the sweet and sour pork, fish with tofu in tausi sauce, sharksfin siomai and yang chow fried rice.

Overall the food was cooked good, meat was tender, the sauces just right. Skip the siomai, it's just like the stuff you get at the supermarket. The yang chow wasn't airy/dry so it felt sticky and heavy.

So there.128172 on the plus side, didn't feel dizzy or sleepy after eating, so I guess MSG was under control! 128077

On the photo: Plain Congee and Century Egg Ala Carte
Food was ok ( somehow angat sa Chowking though I haven't tried some in their menu) pero medyo malapit na sa level ng Luk Yuen.
Good customer service and perfect place for appointments and etc.

Not that good, the siomai is ok, the lumpiang shanghai is filled with wrapper, the beef wanton is salty, not too much meat and wanton! Its similar this with chowking, however chowking > hongkong noodle and dimsum...

Salt and pepper squid with yang chao and drink for P99! Hefty servings too! At first I was disappointed cause the waiters were weird the menu didn't look appetizing. Thank God for Chinese instincts with safe orders for food LOL cause I don't think the others would've been as good as mine. Some were... Acceptable. The ambiance is like a fine dining chow king. Haha

Isang gabi, alas-diyes na nang magcrave si buntis Magsie B sa Siopao na walang laman, AKA cuapao AKA mantao.

I had no idea where to find one. After some googling, I finally found the one! This noodle house saved the day!
