We stayed in this hotel on October 2015 for my 30th birthday and our baby girl's 6th month celebration. We got vouchers thru Metrodeal which included free entrance to several attractions.

Please pardon the screen grabs from my Instagram account as I don't have the pictures saved on my phone. 128512

Ok, so upon entering the lobby to check-in, we were greeted by very courteously staff and it took us only a few minutes before getting to our room. It was very nice and cozy. Our baby girl loved the aquarium wall and the very inviting bed. It's like she wanted us to stay there forever. I recommend this place to parents with little kids so they can learn how to appreciate the marine life. It helps them calm down too so that's a plus!

While waiting for my parents to arrive for dinner, I went to try out their gym. It was good because I had the gym all to myself. After taking a bath, that's when we had a problem. It flooded all the way to the room's carpet and almost reached the bed. So as not to ruin the mood, we decided to let it go and just have dinner 1st.

When we got back, I told the front desk lady about the issue. In just a few minutes, one of their VPs (Mr. Alip) approached me and listened to my concerns. He then assigned one attendant dedicated to us and looked for a better room. Mr. Alip also offered a transfer to the Suite and although it was very tempting, we decided to stay in the Aqua Room since the aquarium wall was the main reason we booked this hotel in the 1st place. For the trouble, he sent fruit platters after lunch and dinner. They also got our baby girl her 6th Month cake, free of charge!

Needless to say, we will definitely be back. Despite the hassle with the shower, I still give this 5 stars. Customer service and satisfying is everything, and Mr. Alip definitely got them right!

My boyfriend and I decided to have stay cation last holiday in celebration of his birthday. He insisted to stay in H2O Hotel, well because a) he loves fishes and aquariums (they have four aquariums at home) b) we always go to Cartimar and Tiendesitas (as per him it's his stress reliever, whereas my stress reliever is being inside the mall) and c) it his dream to have a bedroom with an aquarium attached to the wall just like in H2O Hotel.

Of course I didn't want to spend so much money just for a night in a hotel in Manila. He said there's a promotion for Get Go Card holders and I happen to have one. So we ended up checking in at the hotel. It's inside the Manila Ocean Park area, the last time I went there I was in college, so I remember very little about the place. I was surprised with a lot of additions in the place, well of course I didn't know the hotel was inside the Ocean Park itself. When we arrived at the lobby, we were accommodated by their receptionist, and alas the promotion was true enough. They asked for the get go card and the reservation name and then we paid the amount of 4,500 pesos from the original price of 10,700 pesos! But breakfast is not included and we wanted to avail their buffet breakfast, so additional 400 pesos each. We opted for the basic room which is the Aqua Room. It was a breezy transaction, very fast and we where then ask to wait for the check-in time of 2 P.M but we are allowed to leave our things behind so we can roam around the area.

When it is time for check-in, the room card was given and we then go and see for ourselves the room we are going to stay in for a night. It was pleasantly and surprisingly roomy and of course the large aquarium was there. There's a TV, a mini ref, a cabinet for our things, a table. Also there is a welcome snack, and it's for free! Also there are the basic stuff like the towels (they smell and look clean, by the way), toiletries, water, coffee, sugar creamer, electric kettle. And of course the most important of them all, the bed! I love their bed and the pillows ( a lot of them!), the bed is just what I wanted in a bed, I felt I am laying above the clouds, that is how soft and sturdy their bed is. And the pillows too, I just love how fluffy and soft they are yet it doesn't hurt my neck. I can just sleep all day in this bed if I could.

The only thing that concerns me is the cr, the tilet bowl doesn't have a bidet near it, so if there's a call of nature you'll have a hard time having to clean yourself. Also the cr is made of glass like all of it. But overall, the water heater is working all so fine too.

The next day we ate buffet breakfast at Makan Makan Asian Food Village. I was so not excited on eating a heavy meal for breakfast because I am not a heavy eater in the morning. I tried several of their food like the sausages, rice porridge, potato salad. I must say I don't like most of their food. he taste is like, blah to me especially the rice porridge. I just like their fresh fruits, including the green mango. But what I like are the desserts, they gave justice for the buffet breakfast but for me 400 pesos is not worth it for the taste of the food.

We then headed back to our room to prepare for check out and organize our stuff. I just really wanna just lay there doing nothing like all day. But no, we bought vouchers in Metrodeal to roam around Manila Ocean park - I promise there will be a blog about it soon. We then headed out and checked-out, just like the check-in it was fast and breezy and of course we are allowed to leave our stuff so we can tour around comfortably.

I will definitely go back here well primarily to relax but I just wanted them to improve the Makan Makan Asian Food Village. And to add more restaurants inside the Manila Ocean Park too.

Hahaha! Worth it din yung bayad mo sa hotel room. Kaso sana kasama sa complimentary nila yung fish spa and/or massage kahit once lang para dun sa mga nakacheck in para mas sulit naman. Hahaha, demanding ba. 128514128539 FYI: mirror po yung nasa headboard

If you're only after a good staycation, this is the place to chill and have your quiet time. Pool and bar are in a different area. Wifi connection is fast and available for 2-3 devices. Some rooms don't have covers for their toilet & bath, probably meant for honeymooners. We stayed here a couple of times and their bfast buffet is always a 5-star experience.

I've been coming to Manila Ocean Park every March for the last three years for our organization's year-end party at Liquid Pool and Lounge. However, this was the only time I availed of the event discount and checked in for the night. My friends and I had the Park View Room (Php 5,124 nett), which had two comfortable twin beds, a work area, high-speed Internet access and a 37" LCD TV. It also came with the standard amenities -- toiletries, snacks, coffee/tea, a safe, and other hotel essentials -- and two buffet breakfasts at Makan Makan Asian Village.

The hotel called us two days prior to confirm our reservation, and to inform us of the Php 2000 security deposit which we get back after our stay. They initially asked us to have the money deposited to their account, but because we were busy with finals, we paid the fee upfront instead. Everything went smoothly and without delay. The staff were friendly and attended to us as needed. We were checked in after just a few minutes of processing, and got immediate feedback whenever we called the front desk or housekeeping. We also had access to most of Manila Ocean Park, except for the attractions which required a ticket. No matter, Ramon L and I have seen most of them as we celebrated our anniversary here last April. Nonetheless, we enjoyed watching the sun set, and our morning stroll by White Moon Bar.

My only concern with the room is the bathroom. Technically, there's no door. The sink is right beside the bed, and only semi-frosted glass doors separate the shower and the toilet from the rest of the room. I've seen worse though. Three years ago, when I dropped in my friends's room, only a shower curtain separated the entire bathroom from the room. This one is more bearable, and it even has blinds that you can roll out for ~extra~ coverage. I'm a bit more particular with the bathroom than the bedroom itself, and I felt that the current layout was a little too intimate for me. It's as if the rooms were created especially for couples only, but the lack of a queen bed in place of two twin beds makes me think otherwise.

Also, it can get quite noisy and distracting when there's a show going on. You can hear all the noise from the room.

Aside from that, I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel met all my basic requirements, and although the view was not grand (we were facing the audience for the sea lion/bird show), I had a pretty comfortable stay. Additionally, the stay was more memorable because of the friends I shared it with, many of whom turned out to be on the same floor as me. I'm officially done with college, and I'm just counting the days to graduation, and I could not have kicked it off better than I did with this weekend.

Heard about this hotel's unique rooms in that they had larqe aquarium-like walls per room.

When we checked in, we were placed in a room without the aquarium, although we paid for one with an aquarium. We raised the matter with the front desk. They said they would look for an available room for us although we had made reservations weeks in advance.

We were allowed to wait in the room without the aquarium. There is only one chair and a bed. The room is quite small. The bed is not that soft or comfortable.

After around 30 minutes, we were transferred to our room. On the way there, I noticed that the hallways were very narrow. I felt like I was walking through a narrow maze.

As soon as we got to our room, I noted that in real life, the amazing awuarium isn't that amazing. The blue background isn't really the color of the cast ocean but the color of a painted board with its edges slowly pealing. The fishes were infrequent. At some points, in time, there were no fish. I think the passage way for the fish is connected to all rooms with this feature so I guess they may travel to other rooms and unfortunately, just stay there.

The bed is not comfortable. The mattress is not that thick and it is not soft. The pillows are not that comfortable to use too. There was terrible lighting in the room. It is so dark here and there were very few lights.

The doors to the bathroom are slightly frosted glass. So you may want to consider that if you won't xheck in alone.

The bathroom area with the shower is not elevated. The bathroom and room floor are equally leveled. So when you take a shower, the water overflows to the room, outside the bathroom. While there is a drain, there is nothing that separates the shower area form the rest of the room. Note that they used a glass door to the bathroom so the glass is not pressed to the floor and water can thus pass under it to the room.

The staff, however were very friendly and accommodating. They took the time to draw me a map to my next destination and explained it to me for around 30 minutes. 128522

It was nice checking out this place, had the chance to experience sleeping beside a huge aquarium and seeing those fishes so close. But I find it too expensive for the kind of room being offered. Not even all the fishes in the sea could have compensated for my dismay at the quality of bed/pillows/room design and architecture.

Yay hotel sleep over!!!
My sister invited me to join her when they had a conference so i gladly went just for experience (Sad that her room is not the one with the giant aquarium).
The location of the hotel is not so friendly for commuters.
Room is ok, complete with basic necessities.
Shower room and cr is separated, it has nice concept and design but no bidet128078128078128078.
The place is surrounded by manila bay (should be a relaxing view) but too bad it's not.

My friend celebrated his birthday here months ago. We brought in food and drinks for the party.

I thought we will be surrounded with fishes 128541
The room is quite small. It has a comfortably soft bed- I can sleep here all day, a flat screen, electric kettle, A/C in good working condition, and there are enough power outlets to juice up our gadgets. 128079128079128079

I noticed that only a see-thru glass panel separates the bedroom and the bathroom. Yikes!

The aquarium wall is truly relaxing, and I guess therapeutic too. I wana go back here.

P.S. They turn off aquarium lights at 10pm but lights up again as early as 5am.

Aqua room accomodation includes set breakfast at Makan Makan and complimentary passes for fish spa or hotbed massage for two. Free access to their pool and gym.

We had an impromptu 3D/2N staycation here courtesy of H's aunt last April.

We were given a corner bayview room with a wonderful 90 degree view of the Manila Bay. The room was beautiful. It was a suite, I think. It had a living room with a convertible sofa bed, a bedroom, 2 t&b (including a spacious master bath that had its separate shower and jacuzzi), 2 large tvs, and adequate airconditioning. The food and drinks in the rooms mini bar were all complimentary. Theres no aquarium in this room.

The room itself was great. Very comfy. It felt like we were in a cruise as you can only see water outside the bay windows. If you keep staring at the water you might feel nauseous though. We loved all the natural light coming in. I was worried I might see trash floating around. Lucky for us we didn't see any. What I did see were hot, hot, hot dragon boat paddlers! Thank the heavens for that! Watch out for them early in the morning. You'll see about 2-3 boats.

You might feel like freeing yourself and walking around the room in your birthday suit as you only have the ocean outside. But H said the ships around the bay may have long range telescopes and you can bet they look around when they're bored. But if showing off is your thing, do free yourself and entertain our lonely sailors.

I saw the rooms with the aquarium from the hallway and from the outside they looked really small.

The only pool is by the basement Liquid bar. You'll have to exit the hotel first to reach it. They serve food during the day there and by lunch time you'll be swimming while people are eating. The sting ray area is adjacent to the pool so it kinda feels like you're part of the exhibit. Plus the pool is only open from 8-5. The pool is shaded as part of it is under the parks walkway. Despite the hot summer weather the water was cold.

They have a sizable gym if you like exercising on vacation. If you don't plan on going to the Ocean Park, you'll be stuck in your room most of the time as theres not much to do in the hotel. If quiet time is your thing, this hotel is perfect for you. The accommodations came with a buffet breakfast too.

They don't have a deck where you can just lounge and enjoy the sunset, though White Moon bar is on one of the floors. It would also be great if they had a shuttle to bring you to nearby places. The hotel lobby is on the 3F, kinda dim imo. They have many dining options around the complex too.

Overall we were happy just mostly relaxing in our room. We were able to enjoy the gorgeous sunset. If you're not into the Ocean Park, you can visit the nearby areas like Luneta, the National Museum, Children's Museum, Intramuros and Binondo.

This is an experience you'd only want to have once. The giant aquarium in the overpriced Aqua Room which will eventually turn into a huge wall accessory is the only unique feature in this hotel. The worst thing about this hotel is their glass, aquarium-like toilet and bath. Gives you almost-zero privacy. If not for the friendly staff, I would have really hated my stay here.

Stayed at their Aqua Room and it was such a treat! The room was a tight fit though. The bathroom was small and packed but the shower area was nice. Weird that it is not really separate from the bedroom. No bathtub... But again the bed was nice=) very important! Novel experience overall!

Having a huge aquarium inside the hotel room is definitely a must-try! Initially, we thought that the aquarium was installed individually in each room. But then we saw the fish kept on swimming. 128032

We saw different types of fish. There was one that looks like a vampire, another seems to have a tooth, then one got bulging eyes, most are with black and white stripes. So fun watching them in the comfort of your room.

The aquarium lights were turned off at 8pm and turned on again by 5am. I told my husband to turn off the tv so I could watch the fish before I sleep. Lol! 128564

Mind you, it's not only the fish that you can enjoy watching (well, at least for the kids). The kids kept on giggling peeking through the toilet! The bathroom doesn't have a door. 128561 It's only the shower that has a door. Just imagine if you need to go and someone can see you. Better not imagine128563. Nevertheless, I'd still like to come back.

By the way, this hotel is situated inside Manila Ocean Park so a LOT of activities to enjoy with the kids. I don't think you can finish all in one day.

loved it here! they have nice aqua rooms with fish tanks as your view and they also have the bay view rooms... what i liked about staying here is that if you ever get bored you can catch the shows they have for the day or head on down to the oceanarium to look at little fishies and big fishies :) you can also feed the penguins and other birds of prey they have inside the park :)

We decided to do our wedding preparations at this hotel because it was fairly new back then and we really liked the interiors. It was April 2012. We booked for two rooms and specified that the other room should have one queen size bed and not 2 single beds because that's what my wife and I are going to use after our wedding. When we got there, we found out that the rooms that they reserved for us both have 2 single beds. What?! Fortunately, they upgraded the other room for free and gave us the one with a beautiful bayview and a spacious bathroom with jacuzzi. We really felt so blessed and thankful that day and that's why I'm giving this hotel the high rating.

What I don't like somehow is that it seems their bathrooms were made for couples in mind only. It's hard to take a bath when you are staying with someone who is not your spouse because they'll see your silhouette haha! The photo attached in this review is the one with the garden view. This is where my sister and I stayed the night before my wedding day. Now, how awkward is it to take a bath...

The breakfast buffet was just okay. Service was good.

All in all, it was a good experience. I really liked the hotel interiors and service. Hopefully, that didn't change. I've read some bad comments about them here in looloo recently. We'll probably go back and stay a night or two again just to reminisce haha!

Spent a night here, the best! 

I love the interiors that are beautifully designed plus all the rooms are really clean!

We had the room where you can view the manila bay, just minus one star because during the afternoon, garbages are visible in the sea. Anyhow, you can't smell it so it's cool. 

Great service from staff and the room is complete - bathrobes, indoor slippers, towels, extra pillows, safe, laundry bag, hangers, blower, bottled waters, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, earbuds, toothpaste, lotion, floss, wet tissues, sanitary pad and other compliments! 

The aqua room is great too, will try that next time.

Earlier, there was a Christmas Eve buffet which wasn't very good. Some dishes were salty while others were bland. On the other hand, the service was great and the ginormous aquarium was trippy. I hear they normally have good food, but I didn't experience it tonight. Maybe next time.

P.S. Merry Christmas!!!

Hotel H2O is rockin. It is inside Manila Ocean Park They offer aquarooms which means your room is has an aquarium. They also offer other rooms with bay view instead but my favorite is the Aquaroom I enjoyed it very much because its only one of a kind here in the Philippines. There are also a lot of activities while your staying here they have a pool at the front and Manila Ocean Park just a few floor away.
