I've come to visit Baguio for work and some leisure side trips. 9996

My work mate reserve 2 rooms for us in this hotel, called Hotel Veniz, "gem in the city", because literally it's in the center of the city.

It has pros and cons tho. Too much traffic everywhere. Busy streets and people come and go on every corner of the street. It is near the public market so no need to wake up really early to get the best products in town. Near to the different restos along Session road. Beside Burnham Park. Near SM Baguio. 128077

Hotel Veniz is an old hotel. So expect it to be a little creepy. Me, as a scaredy cat, gets freak out every single time; a sound of the faucet, a sound of the a/c, even the mirrors! It's like I'm imagining that I'll be seeing a ghost everywhere! 128561128514 talk about being paranoid.
But in our 2-night stay here, not a single ghost was seen. 128517

Anyway, the rooms are okay, we had 2 triple sharing rooms, the bathroom only have showers but it has hot and cold setting (good job). Funny thing was that in the lobby restroom, there is a bidet but not in their guest rooms. 128529

Some staff aren't welcoming. 128532 Especially in the reception desk.

They serve breakfast buffet for in-house and walk-ins. Food was okay, Although I saw kitchen cockroaches for 2 consecutive mornings in different areas particularly in the linen. 128529

I wish they'll renovate the hotel someday, and practice being courteous . 128513

I'm in Baguio right now for work. Too many "receptionist" in the lobby but can't assist me properly. Too busy vibe perhaps because of the location of the hotel (overpass intersection and passing vehicles). As for the room nothing spectacular and poor interior/layout. There's a huge column in the middle of the room! WTF?! Also, there's poor lighting. Either its too bright (mala emergency light bright) or still too dark like in the bathroom.

I'll tell our company to find another good hotel accommodation. :-/

Hotel is so-so, but the grill and cafe is awesome. 2-pc. grilled porkchops in under P200, can't complain about that.

Hotel Amenities is good but not that great. I would give credit to the friendly staffs.. it is near Burnham so is so accessible. Complimentary breakfast is good.. there's a wide variety of food you can choose from. (it's buffet by the way) over all our experience at Hotel Veniz is generally good

Centrally located and modestly priced. Found maggots in the red egg at the breakfast buffet, though. Yuck! Be warned.
