Hotel XYZ was a pleasant surprise during a recent business trip in Tacloban. Quite frankly, I didnt expect that a lovely boutique hotel exists in the province. My room had twin beds and the pillows and sheets were so comfortable! I love their pillows! It's like a memory foam and it contours according to the shape of your head. You could tell that the owners really thought of every little small detail to make their guests comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and has a separate shower cubicle.
They have a coffeeshop and restaurant. Their resto offers different cuisines: Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Italian and Filipino, so you wouldnt need to go out. Those in the photo are the meals I had during breakfast (except the maki).
Only comment is that the hotel's wifi is weak to non-existent when in their conference room and resto.
Staff were were friendly and accommodating.
I admire the hotel owners because they really exerted all effort to help uplift Tacloban esp after the Yolanda disaster. They also did a good job in exceeding my expectations.
