last week, I got to visit HOB for the second time! I wasn't super hungry so I opted for Mini Tacos (75pesos) and a bottle of soda. My friend had Tapsilog (80pesos). I remember having the same tacos last year, but I don't recall regretting it LOL. The taco shells were too soft and easily crumbles. The cheese stuck to my teeth and the roof of my mouth when took a bite. It was such a waste of money :(

Combine the heart-attack goodness of bulalo with the all-time favourite comfort food lugaw and you get (wait for it): Bulalugaw!

This hole-in-the wall establishment is your gateway to cheap and satisfying food, with their main offering bulalugaw priced at a reasonable 60 (if memory serves me well), complete with meat you can actually chew on.

Other offerings include caldereta+lugaw, plain lugaw (I think), and sizzling versions of the same (not sizzling lugaw, Though I'd like to see them try). Prices range from 50 to 150.

Parking is relatively easy to find, and jeepneys regularly pass by right in front of the eatery. It would be well worth the effort to find HOB (House of Bulalugaw) to try out this very interesting twist in Filipino cuisine.

KALDELUGAW! Lugaw with Kaldereta! Not so common combination, but you will be amazed on how it tastes! Yummy! For only P70...

Bulalugaw! Bulalo and lugaw in one! Yummy combination! Smart thinking of the owners for this idea of combining bulalo and lugaw.. Bulalo meat is very tender and is not "matipid"
For only P70!
