House of Minis is my go to place whenever I feel like eating something a little fancier than the usual but still not breaking the wallet! 128522

For below 500 (some are even below 300!) you get a full course meal! That's really affordable. The steaks are mini-sized but it's just enough for semi-light dinner that will not give you food coma.

The place also looked very vintage-y and the servers are dressed well to fit the feel and interiors of the place!

I ordered the mini tenderloin steak. The course started with mini dinner rolls and a small slice of butter. Then comes the soup which i always find super cute because the waiter brings to the table the whole soup bowl and scoop he soup in front of you. Then a little later, they serve you a small plate of salad. It's a little of everything. Which I really liked because you are not starving while waiting for your main course and also not full from all the soups and appetizers served.

My well-done Tenderloin steak was well done. (Hah get it!!) it was easy to slice and the meat is not dry and tough inside. I also love the side of vegetables and kamote slices. 128522

And to finish the course, you may choose between hot tea or ice cream. Ofcourse I chose ice cream. Today's flavor was mango. They constantly change flavors, which makes it more exciting everytime I come back! 128516

It was one of my aunts who brought me here and she always loved the place because this is where she and her husband had their first date, Awwww:">

Went to Greenhills Shopping Center few weeks ago. Then hubby decided to treat us out again at House of Minis, this time were with kids. The kids tried this but on their Libis branch.

We loved the steaks and the set meal here. We were served first with complimentary bread and butter, then followed by their soup of the day, salad, the main course steak and last but not the least ice cream for dessert. From appetizer to main dish to dessert everything was delish.

As usual the waiting period is a bit long but it's worth the wait. Rice is not included and it's a bit expensive. I just hope they can include it already in their set menu but still I love this place.

A nice place to have a steak night with your loved ones.

The place is very cozy and their steak was cooked to perfection. It's more than what you pay for.

Enjoy the classic steak house! When you feel like eating some steak and you don't have to be too fancy about it your 500 php is so worth it!

Used to frequent this place 20 years ago when I was in grade school. The dinner rolls and soup are still really good. The steak was unevenly cooked. I asked for med rare, I got half med rare half well done

After reading insights.looloo.com's article on steaks, i craved for some steak. House of minis was really a tried and tested institution of steaks when i was growing up. This place has survived till today. However, that is not the case now, the steak i ordered(porterhouse) was so dry and tough, it wasn't worth the 400php price tag. I could have cooked better steaks for that price at home. 2 stars

The one in Shangrila food court closed down. Tried the one in Greenhills (sort of fine dinning in terms of interiors and table set-up), got friends with the owner and she told me about the family having to own the restaurant and will be opening another one in Shaw blvd, (open now near puregold). My most favorite of their steaks are the T-Bone and Pork Chops. They now serve it with soup and bread, and I definitely love their gravy! They now make you choose other on-top-sauce for their steaks. And they now ask for extra charge whenever you ask for gravy, unlike before..it's free refill! 128513

One of the best value for money steak joints in the metro. No frills, just good ol steaks. Each order comes with rolls with butter, soup of the day, salad and choice of coffee or ice cream. Service is fast. Price range: 400-500 per steak.

The steaks were not bad given the reasonable price! (470 each- our order) however, I preferred the tenderloin>fillet mignon.

Both steaks had corn+kamote+sayote servings. The fillet mignon had a few pieces of bacon too.

We were served three appetisers beforehand: Soup 128077128077128077128077 (huge serving)
bread 128077128077128077128077128077 (could have been better if it was served hot) &
a simple garden salad 128077 (I didn't like the choice of dressing, tasted just like plain mayo)

The ambiance was alright but it's weird sitting next to the clear glass wall since there are vendors right across House of Mini's and a lot of passer's by. My advice is to sit either on the left or right side of the restaurant.

I'd definitely come back to try the other steaks!

Dined here twice this week just cause I had to finish shopping for an impending trip. They serve hot rolls with butter for particular dishes and they were heavenly. Was wondering why they don't serve it on the house for everyone. Especially when I realized, after trying their shrimp salad, fried chicken and other entrees, that the rolls were the best they offer. Yeah. Nothing else worked for me. Mediocre cooking that is a bit pricey too. No pictures, sorry. Nothing was exciting enough to photograph.

House of Minis is a wonderful place to spend your 300php. It's sizzling plate steak, the kind you get in a fast food (though of considerable quality) but it's very very good and satisfying. It's not about the meat, but how the entire meal comes together - the oil the steak is sizzling in, the fries on the side, the simple sticky white rice, even the instant-tasting cream soup they give you. The Greenhills branch is quaint, being tucked away on a lower floor - campily nostalgic with Christmas lights, cowboy decor, red linen and a selection of MIDI tunes playing on a keyboard. Add to this the waitstaff's charming five-star service. More of a good-food fix than an actual steak fix:)

Portions are big enough and taste good. Not that pricey compared to other steak house. (Though their price increased mainly because of the renovation.)

House of minis' the family go to place for steaks since it was dad's favorite. I like the old western feel and the wood window panels from the old design. Since shoppesville was renovated, the steakhouse was also made into modern western theme. Now, they have frosted glass wall and it's well lighted.

Since we ate here on Father's Day, we had to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated. The place is packed with families and tables and chairs are set close to each other (hirap gumalaw).

We ordered Fillet Mignon served with 2 strips of bacons, New York cut Steak, Tenderloin, Porterhouse, and Roast beef.

Amongst all, my favorite is the Tenderloin and the Fillet Mignon. It was very tasty and very tender.

I was a bit disappointed with the Roast beef with mashed potato. It was served malamig, parang di bagong luto (considering the 20mins serving time).

Sadly, I wasn't impress with the service. We ordered all the steaks medium rare but was served well done-which made the steak hard to chew. They even had the orders mixed up.128532

Will go back for the steak but hindi na sasadyain.
