Visited here not for the steak, enjoyed their prawn bisque soup, the mediterranean salad was fresh greens and tomato, with bits of prosciuto, black olives, sundried tomatoes, feta cheese dressed with olive oil. The gambas was different, not floating in olive oil and garlic, bur with a white slightly sour sauce, the pasta alfredo was aldente, with mussels, scallops, mushroom in a creamy sauce.

The moment my teammate asked me to join her end-of-day meeting at MOA, I practically saw steak in my future. It's been a looooong time since my last House of Wagyu indulgence and since my teammate also loves good food and is kaladkarin, it was the perfect opportunity to go back.

127813 pan con tomate - it's like their version of pizza on a roll. The toppings are fresh and not at all bland. After munching on the complementary bread, half an order of this is more than enough for two people.

127844 gambas - after threatening to order escargot, my friend relented and got an order of gambas instead. Shrimp was nicely cooked and the crispy garlic slivers were a nice touch, but the dish as a whole wasn't spectacular.  I've had better gambas where you want to grab a pile of bread to mop up the flavored oil. This was just like plain EVOO.

128036 foie gras salad - omg my friend and I just looove foie gras. Even though we split an order the serving was more than enough. The salad had a tad too much dressing but it was deliciously tart and balanced the oily taste of the liver nicely.

128046 ribeye grade 6 - the star of the night:  a 220g slab of butter-soft beef that will melt all your blues away 128525 the cream of vegetable soup and buttered veggies in the set were perfect complements.

Besides the great food, I love how attentive the staff were. So many times during the meal, the wait staff lent us a helping hand that even I didn't think to ask for.

So if you're celebrating a special milestone - or even an ordinary friendly eatup - and you're prepared to plonk down serious moolah, this place is IT. The food and service are worth every penny.

Found the perfect timing to use the Club Rare Card I got from looloo last month. Mom's celebrating her 61st and we were supposed to have lunch at Seven Corners. However, it was too late to reserve when she called last Saturday and we're already 11th on the waiting list. While thinking of an alternative, she requested for steak. I immediately suggested House of Wagyu.

We went to the MOA branch which had a nice view of the bay. It would be awesome to dine here at night, I bet. We initially thought it was closed since the glass panels were heavily tinted and you can barely see the inside. Good thing a waiter came out to assist us.

After placing our orders, they served us some complimentary bread with butter. They gave us another refill after seeing that we finished the first serving already. You can't blame us coz it was good. 128522 They asked if we wanted a third serving but we declined coz it's making us full even before the main dish arrives. Haha!

I requested for Gambas for appetizer. Shrimps sautéed in extra virgin olive oil and garlic. Pretty good but I would've wanted it a lil more garlicky. Three bowls of Cream of Carrot Soup were served next. I first tried this in Eastwood and I really liked it. Thick and creamy, even my sister who hates veggies liked it. It didn't taste like carrot at all.

For our mains, mom got a 500g Top Sirloin Grade 9 and Alfredo Pasta to share. The steak was served in a hot stone grill. The waiter explained the best way we can enjoy our steak. Slice a small piece and sear it to our desired doneness. 10084️ Cheat day for me since it's mom's birthday but I still had to control myself from eating a lot since I have to follow a low-fat, no red meat diet #fml. 128529 This cut of meat was tender and oozing with flavor. No need to add salt, it was very yummy as is. It came with 3 mashed potatoes and 3 assorted veggies which they already split to four before serving.
Eto palang, sulit na!

The Alfredo con Fungi Pasta was equally delicious! I used to hate cream based pasta but ever since I wasn't allowed to have tomatoes, I've learned to like them. #nochoice 128546 This was surprisingly good! The pasta was cooked al dente, generously coated with a very creamy and tasty alfredo sauce and mushrooms. So good paired with the steak.

While settling the bill, they surprised mom with a slice of Flourless Chocolate cake and a birthday song. 128513 Well appreciated, guys! The cake was as delicious as the first time I tried it in Eastwood. Better with vanilla ice cream though. Haha! The birthday girl obviously enjoyed it too.

Staff were nice and very accommodating. The girl assigned to our table was very attentive. Service was fast, although it took them a while to verify my Club Rare Card and there was confusion among them when we were about to pay.

Took advantage of their promo discount, enjoyed their giant cut grade 10 porterhouse good to share for 3-4 pax. Steak is cooked over a hot lava stone to individual doneness. Grade 10 wagyu steak has good amount of marbling, it melts in your mouth. For appetiser we ordered baked new zealand mussels and salad with mediteranian dressing. The soup was cream of pumpkin. Paired this with a bottle of Argentina Malbec red wine.

Father's Day treat from my loves and my kulits! Nice promo from Wagyu, 30% off on selected steaks and set menus. Oysters for appetizers to start off plus a glass of wine. That contraption they use to pour the wine through aerates the wine and is supposed to enhance flavor.

I had the Japanese Sada (rib eye) and learned that the proper way to cook Wagyu is to cut a bite sized piece and sear it one at a time on the hot stone. I seasoned lightly with salt and that was it.

My precocious little man AJ competed with everyone for their steaks and was the center of attention of everyone in the place. My thanks to all wait staff for their patience and professionalism.

I wish I could visit House of Wagyu more often! 128523128523128523

110881108811088110881108811088️ It's soooo good im seeing stars! Five stars doesn't do justice. Let's make it six stars! Giving it an additional star because because that wagyu on that stone just deserves it! Im sure the cow agrees 128004 MOOOOO!

Took my sister here for a steak date to celebrate her graduating from college. Due to the crazy traffic, we were almost an hour late for our reservation. We got to the restaurant 40 mins right before they had to close after lunch. Even when they had a rather short time to serve us we didn't feel rushed at all even stopping by our table plenty of times to check on the table's lighting (since we were seated next to the window with mr. Sun 9728️ shining oh so brighty), explained carefully the steps in eating off the stone grill with tips to keep our steak soft and juicy, took time to ask how we found both the soup and steak to our liking. They were very courteous and welcoming. Props to quality customer service 128079128077

Now on to the food. We had soup of the day which was broccoli soup, a healthy pairing to the protein we were about to have next. That was some delicious green soup. If only vegetables always tasted as good as that, i see no reason for kids to dislike veggies. For our mains, we each had a 250g slab of grade 9 wagyu. As the restaurant name goes, it was served on hot stone grill seasoned with only salt and freshly crushed pepper. I could hear the sizzling like music to my ears and saw the beef cooking right in front of me. I was ecstatically staring at it like a magician's trick waiting to happen. The real magic happened though as cut my first bite size, let it sizzle for a second on both raw ends and popped it into my mouth. The beef was so soft and juicy, it melts in my mouth! I'm definitely no steak expert but i definetly felt like one that day. Wagyu was magnifique! 128076

Prices are not easy on the budget; however, definitely a steal for the taste, service, experience of a great quality wagyu restaurant. I highly recommend for dates, special occasions, and even on a reward-yourself days.

I'm back! After almost 2 months, nakabalik din ako ng Manila for a day! To celebrate our first year of engagement, kakain kami ni Blanca R ng swabeng karne :))

My brother and SIL highly recommend this place and they're spot on! The grade 9 wagyu was enough to melt our hearts! What we did not expect was the awesomeness of the oysters! High-quality seafood sa isang house of Wagyu, haha!

I purposely framed the oysters to be bigger in the picture so you can have a good look of the big juicy fresh oysters baked with cheese and parmesan... Heaven!

Although medyo may kamahalan, this place is perfect if you're celebrating a special occasion with a special someone :) highly-recommended!

Sa uulitin,
Chewy

I just had the BEST steak of my life! The cashcashpinoy deals we had was for a grade 9 ribeye, grade 9 sirloin and a grade 9 tenderloin wagyu steak.

All the steak were okay but the grade 9 tenderloin stood out the most. It's the epitome of the word melt in your mouth. Upto now, I haven't had a beef as soft as that. With very minimal effort, you can chew through it and savor all the beefy goodness.

As for the taste, the sirloin and the tenderloin offers almost the same. You get more meat in your bites. They only differ with the tenderness. The ribeye gives a taste of fat together with the meat.

Laslty, a tip. Ask for a resting plate for your meat so the stone grill doesn't overcook the steak unevenly.

They way the Wagyu was cooked on a stone grill was what kept the flavor. The steak was kept warm so you still get to enjoy it for a good 45 minutes. I love the marbling of the Wagyu beef and the simplicity of the way it was cooked with just a dash of salt and some pepper.

My 9-year old ordered a prawn plate (I forgot the name). He said it was really good (considering that he is a picky eater). My 4 year old twins, had a share from my Wagyu and they loved it too.

Best place for Wagyu! We will definitely come back as this place is also a great date night restaurant. Loved the bayview and ambience!

This place is also owned by the same owners of Melo's. Just like its sister restaurant, it didn't disappoint. They serve mouthwatering, juicy, flavorful, melt in your mouth wagyu steak. We got a deal from cashcashpinoy for 220 grams of wagyu rib eye steak priced at around 1800. It was money well spent! This easily belongs to one of my unforgettable steak dining experience. I think I can already put it as the best steak I have eaten so far.

The food here is very good but what lets it down is the staff hovering around your table as if they want to join in the conversation.

Also, take cash as when their credit card machine was offline, they asked to leave a hostage while someone in our party went to withdraw cash. Accusing the diner, whose name and ID they had seen, of possibly trying to run away was not the best option when the reason the card would not work is their terminal.

Still my favorite steak place, bar none.

Hello Looloo, it's been a while. This is only the second time that I have been to this place and the first time was about eons ago. In between, I managed to visit other places serving steak but hands down this is still the place to beat.

Succulent, mouth watering, tender are just some of the words to describe the slab of meat that is the wagyu grilled to perfection.

It costs an arm and a leg though but if you have some extra cash to dispose, and you want a taste of some finer things in life, head on over to House of Wagyu. You will never go wrong.

That's one heavenly piece of meat right there.
If they say the steak is good for two, then it's good for three. Make sure to order the Bernaise sauce or any sauce you want once you've chosen the steak. It took them 25-30 minutes to make mine. By then, there was only 1/8 th of heaven left on my grill.

Excellent everything! I had lunch with one of our VPs and while she had prawns I had the smallest serving of rib eye which would probably last me months. View of the Manila bay, inspite of the super typhoon, was breathtaking from where I sat.
