My colleagues and I often go here to unwind after a hard day's work. You can grab a few bottles of beer and listen to live music. You can even sing with the band if you may. Food is a little pricy though. But they have one of the best if not the best sisig in town. Be sure to drop by if you're around the area 128521

Love baked oysters?

Try Hugo's for P291.00 good for sharing but for me, i can eat all of it alone.

Well cooked and how it is served. Oysters topped with creamy garlic cheese sauce sprinkled with hot chili powder. Two slices of lemon on the side and yellow rock salt around it. Oysters were not dehydrated, you can still see and taste the juice/spawn coming out from the oysters. Instead of plate or tray, they used wooden bread board.

Sorry, quite dark. So photo isn't that good. 128523

A nice place to chill and catch up with friends. I tried the tuna dish in the photo before pa and i can remember liking it. 128522

HOWEVER, I recently passed by the establishment and saw what they did on their outside area. What were they thinking?! The place used to look so nice both the inside and outside but after putting what looked like an improvised pink (?) walls, the outside area started looking really cheap.

*not sure if twas pink, but it was kinda like that. Sorry im color blind.

This was my third time to be here and I felt like the same relaxing venue to catch up with friends during boring weekends.

🔹FOOD & PRICE

✅Pork Sisig (P185.00)
This one is always a good idea to pair up with bottle of beer.

✅Quesadilla (P162.00)
I like this one! I want to make something like this but I don't know how. The chicken and mushroom is just right for melted cheese.

✅Beer (P50.00+)

🔹PLACE
Very relaxing with cool background music. They have live bands too.

🔹SERVICE
Very good!

Unnecessarily expensive. A carafe of their (blah) sangria is P580! 128531 Almost as expensive as Beso's, minus the awesomeness.

My friends and I decided to celebrate the weekend early at Hugo's last night. I ordered a plate of of their Champignon al Ajillo for Php170 and sat back to enjoy my night.

Coming here early has it's benefits. Although music was playing in the background it wasn't very intrusive. We able to talk and unwind comfortably.

My mushrooms were delicious. Not too oily not too salty. Great value for money.

Been to Hugo's several times and based on those visits, their food was so-so in my opinion. My favourites are their gambas (the shrimp was brilliantly cooked to perfection – neither overcooked or undercooked) and not to mention their heavenly bread pudding which I have found to be THE best bread pudding I have ever tasted! Poured with a generous serving of vanilla sauce and a hefty scoop of vanilla ice cream, this dessert is too die for! On the other hand, the other items I ordered on their menu wasn't that impressive. The burritos was fine, nothing spectacular there. Salpicao was way too salty for me and the sauce was quite too thick and rich (the beef was tender though!). Their fried calamares wasn't what I expected, the breading was kinda off. It had this consistency that I personally wasn't too fond of. My sister also ordered their steak and said that the consistency was tough, and also the serving size is really small and was just fit for one person (despite the waiters saying it was good for four people!). Food is also pricey and definitely not for people who are on a budget. Service needs extra work, too. I suppose since they are still on soft opening, there is still plenty of room for improvement. I hope they do work on it since the interior of the place is superb with good live music every night to boot.

Oh, and I also wish they change their menu to something more "professional looking". Right now they're just printed pages inside a flimsy plastic binder and it doesn't do their restaurant justice!

My sister and I suddenly found ourselves free from school and work respectively. Why not make the best of this rainy day and try the newest restaurant at GTC.

My first Huevos Rancheros! Two deep fried tortillas topped with beans, breaded potato and a poached egg served with salsa and avocado slices on the side.

I really underestimated this place. I thought they served usual, run of the mill Mexican food but Hugo surprised me with the quality of their food and presentation.

I look forward to coming back and trying more of their dishes.

Service was great but I do hope they decide to upgrade their menu because right now it's flimsy and doesn't do their establishment justice :)

This place plays house music.
As long as they don't play hiphop / RnB, they'll maintain their high rating. :)

It has like a semi club resto audience with nice ice cold san mig light. Would have wanted to try the callos but i guess they haven't caught the ox stripe yet. Salpicao was tasty and the fajitas was ok and humongous.

A new latin-influenced grillery and tapas bar located at Greenhills Town Center along Valencia street in Quezon City.

This is a nice place to dine and drink with friends, very chill place. Beer starts at 55php. Budget is around 200 and above per head. :)

Must try their Nachos (300php) and their Strawberry Margarita :)
