I super love their sisig, eversince! A perfect pair to it is the caramel con hielo, which is not really expensive, it's worth trying everytime.

After Playlist KTV, there were still five of us left and opted for dessert while we catch up with each other's lives. I guess it's something to be expected since we haven't had the time to meet in six years. Icebergs was the nearest place.

We ordered oreo milkshake, mango shake, caramel flan con hielo and boracay split. I got the mango shake. Loved that it was milky and the mango taste was really eminent. The shaved ice was fine enough to not clog my straw so I'm happy with that.

I also got to try the caramel flan con hielo which includes leche flan, macapuno balls, sweeetened saba, mangoes and a scoop of strawberry ice cream! I liked the idea as I'm not a fan of all the ingredients in halo-halo.

We probably stayed for more than an hour before calling it a night.

For the nth time, I ate their specialty sisig, and it's always good, it has become a comfort food for me. A few minutes before we got to the restaurant, I have already imagined its taste and its pairung with the house mango iced tea. Great match as always. We also ordered the caramel con hielo, their best in the halo-halo flavors. Good for dessert. We had it for take out! 128077128076

I specifically love this branch in Metrowalk, I remember going here back in 2008 or 2009 just to get some Kahlua topped ice cream.. This branch is always lively for me and their servers are very attentive.

No pictures for now but will definitely do another review with lots! Hehehe.. 128516
First time to try this at 12mn last week after a thurs-date with hubby.. The.Best.Saba.Con.Hielo. Ever!
Last night we passed by the branch at SM by the Bay and I tried their Caramel Flan con Hielo. A bit pricey for me since the Macapuno were not the authentic type like 20 years ago (I miss those!) and the cherry tasted like medicine. Overall a great experience for anything cold!

Went here during our lunch/midnight snack break hehe

Place 110881108811088
The place was a bit small compared to the other branch, but ac is ok though.

Food
Salisbury Steak (P178) 11088110881108811088
The patties were juicy and goes well with their mushroom gravy sauce, I think their patty was homemade since it got some veggies on it not the typical patty that you see in fast-foods. they've got big serving as well.

Chocolate sundae (P148) 11088110881108811088
I admit, at first I thought that it was a bit expensive for an ice cream, but after tasting it...yeah definitely worth it..
2 scoops of chocolate plus one scoop of vanilla ice cream doused a bit of chocolate syrup, sprayed on some whipped cream, and topped it off with a Cherry 128077128523

Service 11088110881108811088
Everyone was nice and accommodating even their guards.

After Behrouz, a smaller group of us headed off to Icebergs for Halo-halo. 127847

I was still kinda full, so I decided to split a Special Halo-halo with a friend for (I think) 105 pesos. This was quite a big bowl, and had all the usual... Um... Toppings? Beans, banana, gelatin, kaong, nata, buko, langka, ube, ice, cornflakes and 2 scoops of ice cream! Our friends ordered other parfaits and ice cream concoctions like the Black Forest Parfait, the Banana Caramel Parfait which were also great.

Overall, Icebergs is a great place for halo-halo and ice cream at a pretty good price! No need to break the bank, and since it's at Metrowalk, parking is free too.

Iceberg's is one of my childhood reward restaurants. My parents would bring us their when we have awards.

Our order is always the usual... Mais con hielo and chili con carne fries!

You have the option to have the sauce gor the fries placed on top or in a separate bowl. I suggest to have it on the side because it will make your fries soggy. I think Their sauce at metrowalk is a bit too creamy compared to other restaurants.

Icebergs is well known for it's take on sundae's and they also have halo-halo.

Since there were 4 of us who were kind of full but well we still had room for ice cream, we decided to get King Kong's revenge.

It was pretty big sundae with i think 4-5 scoops of ice cream. To our surprise there were pineapples 127821 in it. I get the bananas but pineapples? Really?!128534

It tasted weird with the pineapples.

The flavors of ice cream were vanilla, chocolate, coffee and the top was well my boyfriend said it was corn127805. K. Corn on a sundae.

The sundae tasted alright, i just got weirded out with the pineapples and the corn(?) ice cream.

Kahit weird inubos naman namin in 5 mins128514

If you're single in this kind of weather, it's good to have friends with you and eat something sweet and cold.

I ordered the Caramel Leche Icekimo. For 180 pesos, you'll have 5 slices of leche flan on top of your shredded ice, with mango and macapuno. And vanilla ice cream with cherry on top. It's supposed to come with bananas for toppings but i chose mango instead.

Surprisingly not too sweet. Right creaminess for the leche flan, just the right sweetness. It tastes different though once you mix it. I don't know if it's the mango or the ice cream, it's just too bland i guess. The macapuno is the interesting part, it's rounded and soft. Plus the macapuno taste wasn't too overwhelming.

I didnt enjoy it much though so i gave it Okay lang...

I have to give due credit to Iceberg's savory food. Really underrated stuff. I haven't been here in a while (not since I stopped buying DVD's), but it was my friends who introduced me to a fab snack of theirs... Their chili dog.

Hotdog in a bun, topped with good chili and served with a side of fresh cooked potato chips. Yummy.

They also have salpicao, cordon bleu, plus have (dunno if they still have this) healthier rice options like brown or red. They even have corn rice too.

First time in Metrowalk... and last. 128584128585128586

Since, all dessert place were closed in Kapitoloyo, we planned on going to Borough for milk and cookies but on our way there, Carlina Joyce L mentioned that she has never been to Metrowalk so we changed our destination and decided to find something else in the area.128665128663128661

We weren't familiar with Metrowalk but when we laid eyes on Icebergs (probably the only dessert place there) we went straight in.

Our orders were chocolate sundae, kalua sundae, peach banana split and oreo banana split. Funny thing was we liked their ice cream better than the Pen Pal we had at the Lobby. 9996

I'd give it 5 stars for taste but the place wasn't very pleasant. You could still hear the "concert" at the middle area... maybe it was entertaining to those who were drinking/drunk but I honestly found it irritating. 128528

Summer cravings are solved! Icebergs saba langka con hielo is perfect for summer. Plus, add the fact that the range of offerings is now infinitely so wide. Add the fact that the bill isn't painful to the wallet. And add the fact that they have definitely improved the quality of the food from softer bananas to adding more langka to using really well shaved ice.

Brought our friend to metrowalk because she hasn't been there ever since...(fyi: she's not a balikbayan; she just doesn't go places outside makati/taguig) We were looking for a place to have dessert (we were really going to epic or milky and sunny but they were already closed no thanks to the customers of rub) and then we saw icebergs so we went there.

We couldn't decide what to order because everything looked very good on the menu. I was torn between the banana split and mango strawberry melon con hielo but in the end i picked the banana split. It was good, actually we did enjoy it better than the 19flavor ice cream of manila pen. Seriously.

Stick with the basics and your good. Saw a lot of negative comments on the food, but for me I go to Icebergs for the ice cream and their ice desserts!

The place was packed on a late Saturday night. And it was quite noisy because of the band music playing but overall it had a festive environment with mostly groups and families simply enjoying a late night snack or cooling down from the heat.

Aside from their ice creams, I love their Mais con yelo and mango strawberry ice! The mangoes and strawberry were sweet, am sure they already preserved it with a bit of sugar but at least it's the fresh ones. It also has ample amount of ice.

Service was ok, it was quick and the servers were attentive considering the place was packed.
