It's been a while since my last visit here. Ordered supreme halo halo good for two.

Most of the toppings here are traditional native sweets. It has luscious saba, macapuno balls, mango chunks, and my favorite Leche plan topped with Ube ice cream and cherry to name a few.

It's really delicious because it's creamy, the crushed ice was fine and it wasn't sweet at all. the serving size is good for two people. 128522

I always order boneless bbq chicken here because it's one of the best chicken bbq that I've tasted! For their dessert, you should try mango con yielo. Ze best! 128156 one of the restos I always come back to. :)

its been awhile since i last went here, now they are serving rice meal, tacos, sizzlers and fondue. I still love the previous interior then, its not that spacious anymore, service is good though and the selection of their desserts is still price reasonable.

Need a place to eat yummy cool dessert... Head to Iceberg's. They have lots of selection from halo halo to ice cream, to other desserts like crepes and milkshakes. They also have rice meals, pastas, and their tacos is a must try 128522 Their price is reasonable and the serving meets expectations.

Icebergs somehow reminds me of that old Magnolia Ice Cream house that once stood along Aurora, QC. What with all those fancy ice cream, it is one of those establishments I go to if I just wanted a big glass of calories that's decorated with the colors of the rainbow.

Sometimes, I bring my kids and whenever I do, I turn to a happy, little ice cream monster, just like them.

But earlier, since my lactose intolerance deprives me of having anything too creamy on a work day, I went to Icebergs to have lunch minus the dessert...which I don't normally do.

I'm not used to eating rice and recently I've been trying to cut down on my carb intake so, I only had cream of mushroom soup and ceasar's salad. The salad, well, I was kinda missing the bacon bits. It tasted incomplete without it. The soup, uhmmm, bland. I'm not entirely sure but, I think it was the "instant" kind of soup.

As for my office mates, they enjoyed their lunch more compared to me with chicken cordon bleu and sizzling sisig with rice. I've tried their chicken cordon bleu before and it was tolerable. I'm okay with it but somehow it leaves an "umay" aftertaste. It sort of reminds me of a ready to cook cordon bleu that I used to buy from the frozen section of the supermarket. As for the sisig, I've had this a few times before as well. It's far from superb but, Icebergs' sisig can pass as comfort food for me. It's sinful. I felt a pang of envy on this one.

But sadly, I had to watch my office mates enjoy their tummy-filling lunch while I had to gobble down my soup and salad and end up only about 70% full.

Overall, Icebergs is a classic and maybe an authority when it comes to ice cream. Pricing is reasonable considering their serving size. Nevertheless, I'm not grading their food with an A but it can pass as "pwede na".

(One observation, whenever I eat any of their mains, I end up sleepy. I'm guessing they're putting way too much food enhancers.)

Honestly, this is my first time to eat at Icebergs. And, again, to tell you honestly, I'm quite disappointed.

This afternoon, before doing the groceries, I craved for halo-halo. I had Razon's in mind. Much to my dismay, the Razon's shop(?) was on the other far end of SM North from where we were at. A bit of walking led us here, so I decided to try it out.

We ordered their Super Halo-halo and lasagna (in photo). The halo-halo was juuuust okay. Nothing special. Same goes for their lasagna. Nothing particular distinct for both.

I think their food's too pricey for the taste.
